Every time I hop into our Tesla Model 3, tap in my unlock code and wait for the seat to move to my preprogrammed position (while fastening my seatbelt), the sparse interior reminds me of what I believe is Tesla’s primary reason for success: Their focus on the things that REALY matter and doing them to the VERY best of their ability. If I had written software with that in mind, I would have spent less time making it look pretty and earning a lot more money than I did!

So, I just bought a 2022 M3 with FSD and performance upgrade included. I did so because that's exactly what I wanted in a used tesla if I decided to go used. The price(if you consider the potential value of fsd) was a complete no brainer!
I live in the sticks, in an area that I'm sure FSD is unfamiliar with. After 12.3.3, the only interventions I had in a 60 mile drive have been when I was on a 2 lane divided highway in a 65mph zone approaching a car doing 54. I simply have no patience for that. So I have to disengage for slow drivers. Other than that, and piss poor lane choice on the highway, fsd is 95% solved, imo.
My constant sell for tesla is that people might not want an EV, but they definitely want a Tesla.

BTW.... by ironclad private agreement, car dealers CANNOT advertise a car publically for less than MSRP.
However if you go into a Ford dealer you can find that they are selling the Mach-E for less than MSRP. So the price of the Mach-E is more competitive than you show... currently.

The range was a little above bad and the tech sort like FSD, is almost there , I would still own the car if BMW hadnt played hard ass with nacs. Was my i4 m50 as tech advanced as say the "Y" that's being shipped to me? Absolutely not! But it was still a very good car, and BMW SVC centers can handle the existing volumes. The gas and diesel vehicles are similar but warranties are different, the lever of service dealers provide is different, and depending on the vehicle reliability may be different. I think if you look at keeping a car for three years then any brand is the same, but if you want to keep it longer then your choice is more important.
As far as EVs I think the Chinese ones are the ones I'd look into most. I was hugely impressed by a GAC in the Philippines, it wasn't an EV but it was as nice to drive as an equivalent Lexus or Mercedes. So given how advanced EV itech is in China I'd gravitate towards a Chinese car if I am going to go EV.

Over the life of the Genesis G90 5.0 v8 it will cost you more than 60k in fuel! Also it only lasts about 300k miles before you have to replace it!
Again my TM3LR should last more than 750k miles and only cost me $22.5k in electricity! I can charge at home and it is cheap here! $0.12/kWh.

The culture for producing/supporting ICE and EVs vehicles is very different. It is very difficult if not impossible to have 2 distinct cultures in an organization. As an example the ICE culture is built around service while EV (Tesla) is built around the best service is no service. EVs require a software focus. I'm not saying legacy auto can't transition but I would wait a while to buy a legacy auto EV.

The data on safety with and without Autopilot is not as cut and dry as you present. Autopilot is more likely to be activated on the highway in good conditions, so the miles driven on autopilot is biased to the safer side due to driver self-selection. Meanwhile if we remove the autopilot miles, the remaining miles are likely more complex and accident prone. Therefore, the safety of the autopilot is likely biased upwards but the safety of Tesla cars not using autopilot is biased downwards. The truth is somewhere in the middle but still better than non-Teslas

Using MSRP amounts for any comparison when one company, Tesla, doesn't negotiate on the MSRP, and the other, FORD, does offer lower prices to actual customers makes for a biased comparison. Using EPA range numbers to compare or to calculate efficiency when one company, Tesla grossly overstates their range, and the Mach-E has shown in the past to match the range the model Y LR gets in the real world (demonstrated by a Tesla fan, Bjorn Nyland) . Yes the Y is still more efficient in the real world, but gets the same range as the Mach-E. Falsely stating that ALL other EVs lose money and ONLY Tesla is profitable is complete BS.
He could have used real sale prices, real range figures, not lie about profitability, etc. and presented a more balanced view. He has every right to prefer or like Tesla. But I'm willing to bet he has money invested in their stock and of course doesn't openly disclose it in this video.

It's hard to recommend buying a Tesla this year. They are too expensive and sales are slowing so there will be a lot of downward pressure on prices. When Tesla slashes prices on existing models, current owners take a bath since resale value plummets. Other than the fashion statement Cybertruck, all the Tesla models have become stale. They are optimized for margin rather than pleasing the customers. No stalks, seriously? And Musk's political views are a big turnoff to many would be Tesla buyers. I'm glad Tesla owner's are bullish on the brand, but the EV market is still mostly early adopters and the transition to mainstream buyers is going to take longer than expected. Your statement about Musk's political views reveals a lot about you. It says it all.

Biases from a blue hair wJoke. Pathetic, just stick with your Prius already.
CTruck is a technological Marvel, not a fashion statement like your Prius.
I’m pretty sure you didn’t watch this video at all, did you.
      Cheers

      I’m driving the equivalent
      of a Free car !
The price of electric vehicles will continue to drop.
      I have driven more than
      231,255 miles in my
      2018 Tesla model 3
Most of the miles in California.
People are now able to buy a new and improved
      Tesla Model 3
      for $38,000 or less.
      I have already saved
      more than $39,000
      in fuel ⛽️ and maintenance.
      Including receiving
      the $7,500 tax incentive,
      More than 6 years ago.
Tax incentives are now available again.
The only maintenance I have paid for, SO FAR, is tires.
      And occasionally Air filters
to filter out the pollution of the
      Internal combustion engines
      and wild fires 🔥
The best vehicle I have ever owned!
      Fantastic performance,
with Free over the air updates for the software, every few months.
A wonderful car that keeps getting even better!
I fuel up with electricity when I’m sleeping 😴 10 seconds of time
to plug in when I arrive at my home,
10 seconds to unplug the next day when I’m ready to drive somewhere.
I do NOT have to waste my valuable time and money 💵 with costly oil changes and
      Internal Combustion Engine maintenance.
The new and improved improved updated
      Project Highland
      Tesla Model 3 +
Is now available in the USA 🇺🇸
      I have enjoyed time at
      Big Bear mountain 🏔️
      and
      Mammouth mountain
for Skiing ⛷️ and snowboarding 🏂 with no problems. 😃
