    This confidential U.S. Air Force film shows various air strikes in Southeast Asia by F-100s, F-105s, A-1 Skyraiders, and other aircraft. Napalm, cluster bombs, high drag bombs, and other munitions are used as well as cannon. At the 3:45 mark, F-100s are brought in to assist U.S. and friendly ground forces who are under heavy enemy assault. Spotting aircraft can be seen in this footage. At the 5 minute mark, Operation Scotland assaults are seen as part of the Battle of Khe Sanh. At the 8 minute mark, attacks on North Vietnamese Mig-17s are seen including rare air-to-air footage. Operation Fairfax and Operation Saratoga were also supported by strikes seen in this footage.
    The Battle of Khe Sanh was conducted in northwestern Quảng Trị Province, Republic of Vietnam (South Vietnam), between 21 January and 9 July 1968 during the Vietnam War. The belligerent parties were elements of the United States military III Marine Amphibious Force (III MAF), 1st Cavalry Division, the US Seventh Air Force, minor elements of the South Vietnamese Army (ARVN) against two to three division-size elements of the North Vietnamese Army (NVA).
