Thanks for watching! It would be awesome to find a fossil in one of the rocks but unfortunately that area is not likely to produce any considering it just about all igneous. But you never know…..
I'll be visiting my son at Ft Bliss in El Paso and would love to go somewhere to hound. I'm from SC so I know little about West hounding (went to Rockhound State Park in Jan and had no clue what I was doing) . I've enjoyed your West Texas vids and am hoping I can find somewhere to go that's been as full of treasures as the places you've gone. My OCD fights me to know exactly what I have in my hands but watching you enjoy what you have whether you know exactly what it is or not has freed me some. (Usually you know exactly) I'm using a Dremel for polishing (I've just begun cutting and polishing) and it takes forever but one step at a time. My wet tile saw gets the job done so can't complain there. You have found so many amazing things and I love watching your slabbing videos. Keep hounding!!!!! 😊😊😊
My favorite spot in southern Utah went about the same as this for one day but for some reason I don’t have the same luck. I’m jealous you’re finding so much good stuff!
What ever creates that moss color also creates the jasper. Wish i understood the mineralization to understand the creation of these agates! either or, great video and i want to go!!!
There are local guides who have permission from the landowner to take groups out for rock hounding. I think we Aaron Thomas who can be found on Facebook via the group Texas Rockhounds.
No, but another hounded showed me a piece that they believed was hand worked. I generally don’t look for artifacts but I would certainly love to find one.
So many amazing finds! Congratulations!
Thank you James, I appreciate you watching!
Amazing finds…so many different shop options for you. Great stuff!
Thanks Peter, it was an awesome weekend!
Great finds. That fourth biscuit almost looks like some fossils in it

I’ve heard great things about hounding in Utah! I lived there in the 70’s but was not into rocks 😞. Thanks for watching!

I’m in the same boat, I definitely need to better educate myself when it comes to rocks 😏.
Absolutely amazing finds Scott! 2 great spots with world-class agates! I wish I could go there!
You should definitely try to get there!
Glad you made it there! It will be fun watching you cut them😊. Now the challenge is figuring out the best way to cut them🤔
It’s overwhelming to think about so I’m just going to play it by ear and hope for the best 😁.
Great spot for sure.
It was absolutely incredible. I cannot wait to go back!
Oh my!! My mouth is watering over that beautiful purple ine!! 😊
It should be awesome when I slab it. Thanks so much for watching!
Great video and amazing rocks. 500! pounds. Can't wait for the cutting. Thank for sharing
I am eager as well to get started 😁. Thanks so much for watching!
Can’t wait to see some of the videos from these finds. In particular that biggest biscuit and that red moss one. Nice finds.
I hope to get started cutting soon…..🤞
Sweet. place
It was truly amazing 😁.

Skip the banding, go for the purple!
It will be interesting to see how the slabs look. I hope to start cutting soon. Thanks for watching!
Find any projectile points?

@@spwinaustin Well I'm sure you will find one eventually in Texas man👍 I lived in Oklahoma years ago and found plenty
