"an axial image of a brain"... That sounds like something a radiologist would say, few others would include the plane of view ;) . Great agates, love your channel. I think the best agate is a toss up between the axial brain pseudomorph and the first dark banded agate. My daughter and I watch your rock-off videos before she goes to bed. We have started our own rock-off competitions between me, her and mom with the rocks I bring home. She has gotten pretty good at picking the best ones.

I found a similar green out in West Texas down a country road halfway between Alpine and Big Bend. I never figured out what it was but it sort of reminded me of common opal.

No compliments for reflections this time. Still a nice rock. The metal bits stand out reaĺy well against the satin shine background.

I still think it is a nice result, always fun to try these out! It was nice that the features remained throughout the process, so I call that a win despite not getting that full shine you were looking for.
