    I saw a wolf head in that one. Lol. Think this is my favorite cab you showed us year so far! You keep setting the bar higher and higher!

    Not everyone can see the beauty in the rock. To make a cab, you have to be able to see it. It's marvelous. 😍

    Sooo gorgeous!!!! I see the eagle!!! What do you do with these cabs? Do you make pendants out of them?

      Thanks Amanda! I usually just toss them into a drawer 😏

    4:35 I'm definitely seeing a wolf's head, its nose going out towards the right and its jaw open

      Upon closer inspection I definitely see that more than the eagle!😆

    How thick do you cut your slabs and did you start grinding cabs at that thickness? Do you ever make cabs out of other thicknesses?

    • @spwinaustin
      @spwinaustin  3 дня назад +1

      I usually work with about 3/8” widths but I do change it up sometimes. My latest slabbing videos will often show a super thin slice I cut for my wife to put under the microscope.

      @ Thanks for the response! Too many content providers ignore the questions, especially from the newbs like me. I really appreciate you and your channel!

    Nice looking cabochon. I always enjoy plume, dendritic, moss, and sagenite. A bit more of a challenge than other materials. You should try a piece of Obsidian. I'd like to see how well that Cerium belt will polish it.

      Thanks! I have cabbed obsidian before and it does take a great shine after the cerium.
