    I'm amazed you were able to hike that far. Your leg healing has been impressive! Amazing finds, terrific beautiful views. I'm becoming more and more convinced that New Mexico is a "hidden gem" of a state.

      New Mexico is so awesome! I don’t think we’ll ever run out of places to explore there

    What a journey you guys are on. Everyday is an adventure! Great rock finds. I like the petrified wood. Even Dixie looks like she is having fun. Do you have a rock tumbler to shine up the rocks?

    • @LoveHut4Life
      @LoveHut4Life  3 года назад +1

      Never a dull day, and getting closer to you!
      We do have a tumbler, but I’m still trying to get through the first batch of rocks from the last time we were in Arizona😂
      Did you know it’s a 4week process and it has to be plugged in 24/7 ?!?! Not exactly conducive for nomad life 🤦‍♀️😂
      I’m trying to figure out how to make it run without power, but we will still have to stop it while we drive.
      Lots to show you when we see you:)

    Kelsey you rock those socks! Proud of you for making it 7 miles! My phone was out of commission for 3 days but a trip to Verizon fixed it so I’m finally back on line in Houston Texas at my cousin’s house.

      Thanks!!! I was proud too:) especially when I woke up the next morning and could still walk!
      Happy you are back online, and moving west!! Hope you are enjoying my home state! I am from about 5 hours north of Houston in Hallsville. It shows up on maps now, but it didn’t when I was a kid lol

    Brrr. Looks cold on top of that hill!! Woohoo-love the "keep it forever rock" & you made it to Roswell (no mini tornadoes) ha. Oh my. 7 miles-wow-I remember watching y'all build the yellow house & you dragging your leg with you as you were building. Doesn't seem that long ago 👍🤗 Looking forward to seeing the shiny things cleaned up. My late honey Art used to cook & I would clean 🤗 Food always tastes better when someone else cooks it. 🙏✌️🌎💞

    My diesel heater has a priming function hitting two buttons at the same time that puts the pump into fast pumping for a bit. It may be necessary to re-prime it after refilling the fuel.

    • @LoveHut4Life
      @LoveHut4Life  3 года назад +2

      Yeah… we are thinking the diesel was gelling up there. Our tank is bolted to the outside of the house. It was in the 20’s with high winds.
      We certainly don’t need it where we are now lol

    I’m catching up on videos.... this video was so beautiful and inspiring to me! I wish I could have been rock hounding with y’all ✨💖✨
    I took the hi-top van to Garner SP last week... The park was pretty but full of loud people and lots of trash.... sooo, I would have rather been boon docking in New Mexico!
