We were at these cliffs last month. Surely, they are very dramatic and reminded us of the cliffs here in Newfoundland. Made us feel at home actually. And oh ya, the whole of Ireland.................just stunning. Great people, great place.
Before health and safety and paying to walk the cliffs,we used holiday down round there early 80s ,myself and my buddy used lay on that flat slap of rock in bottom left corner one holding the others ankles ,the wind hitting the cliff would blow you upright,seemed good idea at the time,anyway we're still alive................Great being young,no fear.Good night.
Finally a person which can keep the camera steady on the action. There are too many videos out there which only show the beginning of something special but then move around violently for.the rest of the video.
It just goes to show- visitors- never go past "the sign" at Cliffs of Moher. Me and my sister went there and (yes passed the sign, just to explore..) and on the way back it had started to rain west of Ireland style. The mud on the ground became really really slippery and it was really treacherous. I should have been more careful having my sister with me and all- seriously easy to slip.

How many people looked at the cliff that fell away and wondered how it was made? These girls are technically witness to the creation of that cliff, until another part falls away and it keeps going. You are showing your ignorance Darryl. I was there about a week ago. There were numerous people walking right up to the edge and foolishly risking their lives as you can see from this video. Unless you have the desire to watch people die in front of your eyes in a collapse like this, then you clearly don't get the gravity (sorry, couldn't help it) of what was captured here. By the way, I have traveled and seen a lot in this world. I rate the Cliffs right up there with any natural wonder I have seen. So there is a bald plug for the Cliffs.

I was there today and watched a women fall to her death right in front of me. She fell almost exactly where that collapse happened, it was horrible!

It's just a rockfall. They don't happen that often. Usually if there is a ton if rain or flooding but otherwise, not a lot.
