Trains at Keighley - 30/11/2023

Filmed on 30/11/2023. So, moving onwards and along the Wharfedale Line to our third station of the day. Which brings us to the home of the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, this is Keighley (Season 10 Episode 37)
So, this is a revisit to the station for the first time in 7 years and the station is as beautiful. At Keighley, it is home to the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway. Which operates during the year on various dates of steam, diesel and even preserved class 143 & 144 Pacer's. During the difficult year of 2020 prior to their withdrawal from service, Northern paid the storage fee to the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway to store their class 144 Pacers. Which, pleased to say that majority of them has been preserved and operating on preserved railways on their new lease of life.
During the day of filming, oddly Northern decided to cut back on their half hourly services running between Skipton and Bradford Forster Square to just an hourly service. Nevertheless, we came out what we came to see which was the first of the Northern 331/0 which got transferred across and swapping with the 331/1.
