I used to think...of Church=going as a means to learn more about our Lord. I came to 'get.' Worship, that's what WE DO for our LORD. So wonderful to adore Him. Worship is akin to rubbing precious ointment on our Savior's feet with not just our hands, but hearts.
So good, thank you for reminding us that we don't need a special environment to 'feel' worship. I've struggled with this at church too and used to get annoyed if I didn't know the song so I couldn't get in the right space. Now I just close my eyes and listen to the words, reflecting my agreement with them if I do! :) I will definately feel a different perspective in church this week!
Thank you for this video. I think I don’t worship enough, I don’t know how to stay still in my head and just focus on thanking and praising God. I guess I am so self-absorbed that i come to him with my vulnerabilities and problem, but never take quality time to appreciate and thank him for his goodness. That is important too because it will also help to create a new heart in me. I will force myself to at least take 1 minute to thank God and with time, I might be able to worship him the way it is supposed to be done. I also love science. I always thank God for science. It is so beautiful and my mind works around it, I always spend huge time trying to understand how things work according to their scientific profile. It is always good to start the way with God. Sometimes, work is so difficult and people are so mean. But I always try to remember this verse that says to do everything in a way that will worship God. I also would love God to change my heart so that I never hurt people in my words and my actions. God is so important in our life because, there are things that we are capable of doing given a certain situation, acts that we would have never thought of ourselves committing. Through prayers, God does protect us against the bad in us and he also help us to develop the good in us. Anyways, thanks for the video! Have a great day and God bless you.
I love how when you make a mistake you use it to add beauty to your bible study notes. Just like God uses broken people to bless others and bring glory to himself.

Amen! That is so awesome, praising and thanking God even when you are making or drinking coffee. I thank and praise God when I bathe because of the water, the ability to turn on the faucet and use water for drinking, cleaning and so many other uses. Praise God and pray for sooo many who do not have clean water to drink and or accessible water.

This video has inspired me to keep a self study journal for Bible studies every morning. I noted how you said you’d love science. I would recommend looking into Chuck Mistler. He proves the existence of God through science. It’s a very interesting concept and I think you would love it.
Look up proskuneo. This word is used vastly for "worship" in the NT. Look up shacheh (Hebrew). Used vastly in the OT. Worship does not need music. Etymology has worship as this definition: Middle English worshippe, from Old English worðscip, wurðscip (Anglian), weorðscipe (West Saxon) "condition of being worthy, dignity, glory, distinction, honor, renown," from weorð "worthy" (see worth) + -scipe (see -ship). The sense of "reverence paid to a supernatural or divine being" is attested by mid-13c. Do you have reverence? Does one fear the Lord? Does one truly desire to know Him? Has one understood Who He is in all His ways and will? Worship goes a lot deeper than what we think.
We can also worship God with our obedience to His word. Great lesson.
