- In-Depth Bible Study on Psalms 73 | Study the Bible with Me for Beginners!
Hello :) today's video will be an in-depth bible study on Psalms 73 (my favorite Psalm!). Psalms 73 helped me through some tough times and I know that it can help you through the storm too. This is also a bible study on envy / bible study on jealousy. We need to focus on GOD rather than on what other people have. What did you learn from this bible study? I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
I made my own printable planner! Available now at www.biblebujo.com

✏ FAQ
- What is your name/age/where do you live/where is your church?
I prefer to remain anonymous simply because I feel like that's what God wants me to do. Maybe that will change in the future but right now I don't think it will. I like to think of it as living Matthew 6:1.
- How do you choose the bible verses/topics to study?
A lot of my video topics come from requests from subscribers, so if there's a certain scripture or topic you would like to see a video on leave a comment below. When I'm studying my bible personally, I study areas that I know I need to improve in. Other times I randomly pick a scripture from the bible or I'll look up scripture mentioned in a sermon, etc.
- What Bible do you use?
I typically read out of the NIV and I use the Bible app on my phone (made by Life.Church/ YouVersion).
✏ ABOUT
I am just a regular girl who loves Jesus and studying the bible. I have no formal training in the word (which is probably clear from the videos lol). Study the bible with me as I make videos using my bible study bullet journal. Having a bible study journal has helped me learn how to get closer to God. I use my Christian bullet journal as a way to learn more about the word. The bible study videos are typically women's bible study videos, however all are welcome here. I also post a new video every Friday on a new chapter of the bible, starting with Genesis 1! Study the whole bible with me as I learn more about God's word, chapter by chapter. I cannot put into words how beyond GRATEFUL I am for this channel and amazing group of believers that support and share feedback with each other. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ♡
Matthew 4:19

Great lesson with one exception, Psalm 73 was not written by David. It was written by his music director, Asaph.
Thank you!!!!
I read psalm 73 last night and could totally relate! I was also born in 1973 so I felt it was kind of for me. I often find myself thinking the same way. I look around myself surrounded by people who have so much more then me and are more often then not my bosses in which I don’t think they deserve to be based on their character and how they view and treat their subordinates. So many times I’ve cried out to God in my long, hard work and say “Why God, these people don’t even acknowledge you and you give them endless wealth and a easy, joyous life and me, I cry out to you every day and try to live your way, yet I have the least. It’s not fair God, it’s not fair! Why must I toil for morsels while they get the returns for the bulk of my labor and treat me like trash in the process”! Sometimes it angers me that it’s like this! But after reading Psalm 73, I have deeper appreciation for my connection with God over their wealth and the fact he does hold me by the hand through out my life! I wouldn’t trade that and Gods daily peace and guidance for all the money in the world! Psalms 73 really put these things in perspective for me. Also thanks for the lesson, it just confirmed the message I already took from it’
Amen!!!! I love Psalm 73, you're right it definitely puts things into perspective. God bless!
My favourite is Psalm 139. Adding this one too 🤗🤗🤗
I needed this, I appreciate you and know this is 3-year-old video but still making an impact in our hearts in 2024. grateful for you.
Awww this means a lot. Thank you for your kind words of encouragement 🙏🏻
This may sound silly but I take notes with you after I go thru it first...I have nicknamed you "Jo"...I always put Bible study with Jo...I always feel like I am studying right along with you. Grateful for God leading me to your channel 🙂
Lol not silly at all! I'm so glad you study along with me. And I like the name Jo!😊💕
Yes, Asaph was disillusioned by what he saw. He was looking at the exterior and bemoaning the why of it. But, when he came into God’s Sanctuary his perspective changed, realizing just how much he had in God. I have three favorite Psalms 23, 34, 46. Each Psalm makes you realize just how awesome our God really. Is.😇🙏🏽🦋
Psalm 73 is one of my favorites as well. I used to always wonder why those who were living in blatant sin was doing better than me. A few times I felt tempted to join them but something always held me back. This was before I was reading my Bible and committed my life to God. When found that Psalm it gave me peace that although they seem to be living it up in their wickedness I'm in a good place. I also LOVE Psalm 37, 91, 51 and 136.
Yessss I totally agree with you! How good is it to be close to God? Thank you for watching, friend 😊💖

I needed this so badly this morning. Thank you!! 💜
Great study. I needed it thx
Thank you
I just found this and love how you make Bible study so simple.
Thank you for the encouragement
❤
This verse was a great reminder. Especially in these days. Thank you so much. Thank you God for ALWAYS being there.
Psalm 119 is my favorite (and the longest Psalm). Every verse has to do with God's law (there are at least 10 words that describe His ways including "law"). I have been writing it out in my journal. It would be a great one for you to teach, but it would definitely take more than one video. Thanks so much for sharing every week.
I'll check it out, thank you!
I rewatched this and it is very good! Ps 73 is one of my favorites now.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it!!
Thanks for this study. I watched to understand this Psalm after my sister sent it to me and I didn’t get it. I appreciate this study and plan to subscribe to see even more of your breakdowns!
Thank you. You are a God send. Just what I needed in the morning after reading a Bible passage. Thank you Abba for sending me this sister in Christ. ❤
Thank you so very much for your videos ,study’s ,and words. This may seem silly but you called the viewer “friend”. My heart literally smiled. I truly believe Father was speaking though you. Thank God for you. Blessing Dear
This is an amazing study. This Psalm was written by Asaph. Enjoyed it so much and was immensly blessed.
God Bless. Thank you
🙏🏽💕
Thank you so much. I appreciate you so much.
You are so welcome! Thanks so much for watching! God is good 🙏🏽😊
Thank you ❤❤❤❤
Psalm 73 is definitely one of my favorites. I read through the entire book of Psalms during September - November and this one stood out because it reminded me that God’s presence is always there. For our good! Not like people or the world. Amen!! Thanks so much for sharing Sis. Hope you had an amazing thanksgiving day and weekend. God bless!! 🥰🙏🏽♥️
Yes and amen! I hope you had a good Thanksgiving as well. Thanks for watching!😊💕
Thank you this video was amazing!
I can say that I am like the person who wrote this psalm sometimes and this is what I am working on.
I believe that it requires lots of humility to trust God and appreciate the blessings that he puts in my life. And often times, I can think that someone is bad and is living away from God, but in reality, that person might just be a sinner just like me, who is trying to do his/her best, struggling to fix the sins that I can pinpoint. And maybe this is why it seems to me, that some people are blessed despite them turning their back on God.
This Psalm also makes me think that only God knows the heart of people. Instead of growing bitter, I should just focus on myself and become a better human being and really seek to put God first in my life.
Yes I can totally relate
Loved your video!
Thank you!
I love these studies!! Thanks! I just found them!
Thank you! So glad it's helpful
My favourite Psalm is Psalm 23! Memorised and useful throughout life's journey. God bless you always. I have been following you since this pandemic started around April/May. Love & Light from England, UK 🙏♥️✝️
Yes I agree, I love Psalm 23! I've done a video on that Psalm as well. Thank you so much for watching 💕 your support is much appreciated.
@@BibleBujo I forgot to mention! I have also been writing my own Bible notes in a notebook u inspired me! It's a fantastic way to keep the Lord's words embedded in us! Thank you 😊 ♥️
Ahhh that's wonderful!💕😊 I really do enjoy journaling my bible study notes. Have a blessed day, friend xx
@@BibleBujo thank you, God bless you abundantly! I think what you do would be great in schools to get the Lord's word out to younger generations. 🙌🌟😊
Thank you so much, I pray for that to happen one day!😊
the other day I was drawn to the Psalm 91 through the bible app (thank you for telling us about that wonderful app) . I havent been able to read through psalms yet. Honestly, Im all over the bible and I love it! lol. BUT, i feel like the Spirit helped open up my heart and eyes to psalm 91. Deciphered right before my eyes. There is so much meaning in that psalm that I never would have read correctly before.
Wonderful! Thank you so much for watching ❤️
This was wonderful
Thank you!
great
Wonderful job 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 I was blessed by this bible study. 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Glad you enjoyed it!
Glad you enjoyed it!
This was excellent!
Thank you!!💕
I loved this!!! Thank you. My favorite Psalm is Psalm 71. My favorite verse (that gets me through everything) is Psalm 71:20. Would love to know your thoughts on it!
Thank you so much 💕 I'll add Psalm 71 to my video list!😊
What markers are you using?
Great study and new to reading the Bible daily.
How do you know God is speaking to you and not your mind playing tricks on you? How are you able to know the difference? I hope that question makes sense
Great question. First ask yourself if what you're thinking lines up with the Bible. If it does not, it's not God. If it does, sometimes it's hard to know if what you think is God truly is God. I guess for me what has helped is listening to God in the small things. When God comes through in the little things, we get more used to His voice and discernment. I hope this answer helps
@@BibleBujo Hola...can you give me
some example of small things. I'm just trying to figure out what to look for
I can make a video that can try to help! It's probably easier to explain that way
@@BibleBujo Thank you. I truly appreciate it
