Today's video will be an in depth bible study on how to walk deeper with God and how to grow closer to God. We will be looking at John 21:15-18 when Jesus talks to Peter about what we are called to do and how to walk in faith through hard times. As we mature in God, He wants us to put our needs second to the needs of others just as Jesus did when he walked the earth. God wants us to follow Him not for what He can do for us, but simply because we love Him. What are your thoughts on today's bible study? - What is your name/age/where do you live/where is your church?
I prefer to remain anonymous simply because I feel like that's what God wants me to do. Maybe that will change in the future but right now I don't think it will. I like to think of it as living Matthew 6:1.
- How do you choose the bible verses/topics to study?
A lot of my video topics come from requests from subscribers, so if there's a certain scripture or topic you would like to see a video on leave a comment below. When I'm studying my bible personally, I study areas that I know I need to improve in. Other times I randomly pick a scripture from the bible or I'll look up scripture mentioned in a sermon, etc.
- What Bible do you use?
I typically read out of the NIV and I use the Bible app on my phone (made by Life.Church/ YouVersion).
✏ ABOUT
I am just a regular girl who loves Jesus and studying the bible. I have no formal training in the word (which is probably clear from the videos lol). Study the bible with me as I make videos using my bible study bullet journal. Having a bible study journal has helped me learn how to get closer to God. I use my Christian bullet journal as a way to learn more about the word. The bible study videos are typically women's bible study videos, however all are welcome here. I also post a new video every Friday on a new chapter of the bible, starting with Genesis 1! Study the whole bible with me as I learn more about God's word, chapter by chapter. I cannot put into words how beyond GRATEFUL I am for this channel and amazing group of believers that support and share feedback with each other. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ♡

Needed this... I was just talking to a friend about how good are lives have to be for us to feel that God is good, and why we tend to think that way. It can be so hard to surrender our goals, dreams and plans. His timing and His plans for us are always better than we can see in the now. He is still good no matter what happens. Thank you for this Bible study, may the Holy Spirit keep using you in your journey. I have watched this twice now and each time I learn something new. I’m at that season where I’m scared of the uncomfortable and what is happening or will happen. But I cannot let fear defeat me nor hold me back with what god has for me. If I have to feel uncomfortable to praise & look for god more then I have to learn to trust him. Like his word says he will not leave me nor forsake me in this journey. This year has been anything but easy, and I'm not just talking about the pandemic, but in my personal life. I have learned to see the good, and to truly put my trust in the Lord. I also learned to pray. I know, its pretty self explanatory, but I really struggled with it. I began fully open my heart up. I was actually in a sermon a week or two ago, and my preacher asked if we had ever talked to God as if He were in the passenger seat, right beside us. I thought it was a crazy idea to begin with. People in cars beside me would think I was crazy. Until I did it. Nothing else mattered, but that conversation.
Your videos are a HUGE part of my spiritual growth, and I will forever thank you. I have dug deep into my Bible for the first time ever, and it has changed my life. So again, Thank you.

Im so happy i looked up on her channel. I treated God as a True Friend who ran errands with me a few days ago and we had the most honest and raw conversation ever. it was amazing, reviving and so energizing to get such a weightload off of me. To just be able to become vulnerable with out expectation, yet knowing that God will settle it all. I'm ashamed of this. But God is very faithful even in my faithlessness. He still blesses even if I am not praying as much or doing bible study at all. And I have been abusing His grace and taking advantage of Him. I desire to honour and love Him as He has honoured and loved me. And I want to obey Him and love Him with all my heart, mind, soul, and strength. Please pray for me.

I needed this, I have been trying to get closer to the Lord. But, I admit, I was doing it somewhat selfishly. Not on purpose, out of immaturity. I’ve been praying for the answers and the Lord used you to help illuminate it for me. Thank you for answering the Lord’s calling with this channel. This has given me a lot to think about and chew on! I was watching red table talk and, there was this lady that the smith family talk about, her struggle before reaching where she is now. and the lady was having some problem with her heath. so she said she turn to god for the last time, looked at herself in the mirror and cried and spoke to god. she said that she wanted god to speak to her and show her the way because she really started to think that she wasnt going to live pass 40. she had a dream, god came to talk to her and told her to change her eating, i think and make a video about it. she didn't do it at first but she but the she told her family that theyre going to go on a vegan journey. and so she put her work into action. and wanted to continue because she realised her health was improving and so she stared listening to god more and following the path god was taking her to.
For me this really inspired me not to look down at myself so much and try again. the story she told.
and so, I searched up how to walk on a journey with god. the reason why i searched this up is because i want to get even closer with god and let my life flow better and i know it might sound selfish but this is how i feel.
so to my understanding god lead me to your video and understand how i can get closer to him. and i am really thankful that i am here because i want to put into practice what you just spoke about.

God Bless you for sharing this. I really needed this. For so long I was so confused and feeling so far from God despite praying and praying for my circumstances to change. God told me to go deeper with Him and I’ve been so confused about what that means. This has given me a whole new perspective. That question ‘Would you still love God if He never blessed you with all of those things you pray for?’ This question really hit me hard. I feel a bit scared and teary thinking about going to those uncomfortable places. But I rest assured that God is with me
