- Hi everyone,
I got out for my first hike and camp in Wales since I was a little boy recently! Part of Wales I'd never visited before: The Brecon Beacons (Bannau Brycheiniog). This is the first video of two days hiking and camping (and cooking, and drinking!) with Warren from @Linleys. A brilliant time was had, even if we got not so clement weather on the pack up in the morning!
This is the first long distance hike and camp I've done in my adult life (I've either camped, or hiked.. not both on the same trip!), and my hips were sore by the end of it, but it was worth every ache and groan!

Many years... (nearly 40ish?)... I do plan to visit again... The camp site is still there, overlooking the beach! That will definitely be one to video! 🙏💚

Really really disappointed James - switched on hoping to see Sussex outdoors in the Sussex Countryside and I get breathless in the brecons ( proper outdoors) - I see you’ve started mixing with royalty - viscount lindley in his hillipalace 🤣🤣🤣🤣

He was rather knowledgeable about the hike, to be sure... 🤔 (I know he was up there recently,, and has been hiking those hills for years! Hence he was navigator!). It truly was a cracking trip (even though my legs aren't used to it!) would do it again in a heartbeat! 🙏💚
