The Ruling elites of Britain have formally announced from their horse's mouth time and again that they are British Israelites. This means they are holding the populace, economy and resources of Britain hostage on ransom for the sake of global geo-political intrigues which the Zio-oligarchic Ziofascist deep state ensconced in European bourses is dabbling in. This cabal of Ziofascist Israelites who are governing Britain after having politically disenfranchised native Britons, also harbours irreconciliable aversion and animosity towards the Hindu civilisation of India, as echoed in the pronouncements of its stooge Chockalingam Pillai who had declared that the English race are pure Dravidians who deserve the previlige of ownership over India because Dravidian race is supposedly the original "son of soil' in India. The power of this Ziofascist Israelite cabal of English Royals and cabinet ministers in matters of disenfranchising the Britons, can be gauged from the ease with which it was able to foist the unelected and unworthy Stooge Rishi Sunak as premier on Britons.

Wasn't the whole world. I am not saying that we, The British Isles, are free from any such behaviour, but so are almost, if not all the countries of the world. Also let us not forget what all these countries have done to their own peoples. If we are going to look at reparation what about what is owed to the many from all countries whose lives were no better than those savagely taken from their homes. What about the millions killed in two world wars etc etc etc. The Earth is evolving so is Humanity let us hope it reaches enlightenment before self destruction.
      Namaste 🙏.

The commonwealth is simply a reminder that your country used to be under colonial rule.

    • @nurainiarsad7395
      @nurainiarsad7395 Год назад +28

The commonwealth was, at one time, a reasonable attempt at a means to change the relationship between the UK and former colonies, while also assuming some degree of obligation to provide benefit to the latter from having been colonised by a single empire. It was miles better than what France was doing to its former colonies, tbf. But then the UK decided it was bored with that, focused on the EU instead, and after that became a US vassal, and the present generation of the UK no longer has the statesmanship nor the diplomatic perspicacity to understand the point of the Commonwealth and its role in it. They can now only behave in it like an imperial, but IMO that’s not because it was a disguised imperialist forum, but because the UK has been americanised, and therefore re-acquired their imperialist behaviour from the americans instead of completing their repentence journey. (i’m talking about their civilian govt. of course among the elite there are those who have stayed imperialist the whole time.)

Agree! Also, with various vehicle manufacturers including bus manufacturers producing #MakeInIndia LHD (Left-Hand Drive) vehicles, IMO as a land-bordering continental country, #India should also shed the British colonial mindset of driving on the left side of the road (i.e. LHT - Left-Hand Traffic) to match most countries on the Eurfrasian (Europe-Africa-Asia) continent directly (e.g. #Myanmar and PRC) and indirectly (e.g. #Armenia, #Cambodia, #EU (including #Denmark, #France, #Italy, etc.), #Iran, #Israel, #Korea (DPRK (i.e. North) and #ROK (i.e. South) included), #Russia, #SaudiArabia, #UAE, #Ukraine, #VietNam, etc.) fixed road-linked to #India and help remaining land-bordering LHT countries (e.g. #UGANDA, #Tanzania, #Kenya, etc.) in their decolonization efforts via various means (e.g. supplying products, materials, funding, etc.) with changing from LHT to RHT (Right-Hand Traffic) like the #US (significant opposition to #UK customs), #Nigeria, #Myanmar, etc.

The British commonwealth is an irrelevant institution wallowing in imperial amnesia.
The commonwealth is a pointless legacy of the British empire WHEN IT KILLED MILLIONS OF PEOPLE during its brutal colonial past.
It only exists to bolster Britain's sense of importance in the world and to make it appear that its so-called monarch still has a role in the modern world.
Yet the greedy British empire was founded upon colonial aggression, exploitation and KILLING MILLIONS OF PEOPLE.
It must be repudiated rather than celebrated in diluted form through which the continuity that the commonwealth symbolizes.
International organizations should be truly global and progressive, rather than culturally anglo-centric and backward looking.
Critics have called the commonwealth institutions outmoded and ineffective, and the group has at times drawn fire for its inconsistent response to human rights violations and antidemocratic governments.
The commonwealth has no clear role; it confers no trade privileges upon its members, does not coordinate their defense or foreign policy, and lacks both the budget and the executive authority to make a practical difference in the world.
Life within a commonwealth is not equal. Some people have advantages including wealth over others.
People with wealth and influence within a commonwealth tend to fare better than people with few resources and no input into the community.
Some people are better positioned to receive more money, and other people are better connected politically and socially.

I'd be happier if we changed the name or principles so we can accept India as an ally than foe, what the Brits did in the past to India was wrong, however, what nation didn't do what we did? No ones completely perfect and many can be open to a welcoming new change in being allies than foes.

While I understand that the term "commonwealth" has negative connotations, I also believe that this can be perceived in a positive light as well. That statement may have angered some of you but hear me out: commonwealth also stands for the struggles all of the countries like India went through to gain independence. It symbolizes how India and other groups of nations emerged have emerged as a superpower today despite being looted of their richness. Today we stand ahead of the UK in terms of GDP and the title commonwealth didn't hold us back from being so progressive. So many students abroad receive commonwealth country scholarships and the title also enhances international relations with countries who share it with us. It's all about how you perceive it.

We in Mauritius benefit from our association with Britain and the commonwealth as well as The Fracophone diaspora.

Could Russia and China offer alternatives to Indians once the US AND UK close their doors?

    • @bhavendrajyoti1655
      @bhavendrajyoti1655 Год назад

Sandra Lundaswami ! Access of the Indian diaspora to the other countries of the commonwealth except Britain and Canada, has nothing to do with membership of the Commonwealth. For example, exit from the Commonwealth is going to have no bearing on access of Indians to Mauritius, or of Indian-origin Mauritians to India, or of Sri Lankans to India. Likewise, the relationship of Algerians with Chadians or Moroccans, does not turn upon any necessity to lick the boots of France. These matters are subject of bilateral relations between individual countries, and Not the diktats of either the Pope of the Vatican person or the Archbishop of the Canterbury! And USA is Not part of the Commonwealth; you need to get your history right and take lessons in geography before making fatuous threats about the USA closing doors and so on. If The USA closes its doors to India, sanctions will cut both ways because then India will likewise close its doors to USA; but your family is exempt, so chill and sip your beer. Just because your family feels previliged or entitled by virtue of certain associations at the cost of self-respect, does not mean that a great nation of the stature of India should also feel likewise. Perspectives differ based on one's potential and constraints.

The point I am making is that none of these countries, including India, are compelled to a remain member of the Commonwealth. So, the issue is not whether the Commonwealth is "relevant" or not, but rather why these countries remain members any way. They are members by choice, and so they may leave if they wish.

As a British citizen I think it would be a good thing for other countries to abandon the monarchy and I don't see any reason why the commonwealth should continue as it has no relevance in the modern world.
I do not see why Britain should apologise for slavery as the source of this trade was in Africa and the greed and inhumanity of the African rulers. They are the ones that should apologise for inflicting the ghastly practice on their own peoples and it was they that delivered the slaves into the hands of the Europeans.
Do bear on mind that far more African slaves were sent to the middle east than were transported to the Americas.
It's also interesting to note that there were virtually no slaves in western Europe during the last 1000 years. In the late 1700s it was declared by common law that if any slave stepped foot on English soil he would automatically become a free man.
Also, in more modern times, Germany and Japan inflicted far more suffering on the world and used slavery to achieve some of their aims. This however is all behind us now and we are friends.
People should stop this virtue signalling about the past and concern themselves with modern day slavery, which by the way is more rife in Africa than any where else today (with the possible exception of north Korea).
