That was not non violence. It was simple strategy of bycotting British goods to decrease their profit margin and gaining indian debt. That worked too, British were in terrible fiscal balance, before independence, india was no longer profitable for British and these movements played huge part in it. Second thing you have said was quit india was non violent, check your fact before uploading video, even a tenth pass know ,quit india was one of the most violent movement that ever happened.Third thing you have said wrong is ,Gandhi wanted dominion status in 1938. Actually in 1929 Jawahar declared full independence as ultimate goal of congress. Gandhi himself promoted Jawahar for presidency that year. Dominion status was history for any congress member by 1938, let alone Gandhi. Also I respect Bose, and I do agree Ina trial was definitely the breaking point for British, but Subhash asking for support of Japanese was very bad decision, if Japanese would have won, then we would be Japanese colonie instead . And they don’t even acted on paper to maintain human rights in colonies, like British dose. They even house arrested Mohan Singh the real founder of INA ,when he asked for full command,Bose was nothing but a puppet in their hand to inslave india.

Before the Mahatma’s arrival in 1915, some movements laid the foundation for organized resistance, but Gandhi's arrival brought a unifying philosophy and strategy that transformed the struggle into a mass movement:
      1. Mass movement- he connected with rural India, unlike earlier leaders who largely appealed to elites.
      2. His Non violence provided a moral high ground.
      3. Inclusivity - he involved women, peasants, and workers in the freedom struggle, making it a people’s movement.
      4. Visionary Leadership: His ability to negotiate with British authorities while maintaining discipline among followers was unparalleled.
No other leader could do this, leave alone doing for decades - tremendous leadership qualities for decades, since he arrived in 1915 and since he planned his first non violent revolt, since he became the Congress president in 1921. The Mahatma’s ability to unify these diverse efforts into a cohesive and sustained national movement was unparalleled & rightly so the father of the nation. That starts since Islamic invasion and those 300yrs brave sons of Bharat fought to keep the invaders out of Sindh.

Well said, this is the real history. Netaji's work for our freedom was always supressed. My grandparents were in Malaysia, my grandfather was the the estate manager of Bukit Tunku rubber plantations and my mother remembers her mother giving away her jewelry for Netaji's movement. The unsung heroes who fought these invaders, plunders did it so, so the generations to come did not have to go through the brutality they and their forefathers were put through in their own soil. Washed-out history which some wanted never to be known is seeing light.

It's only now this generation got the opportunity to know Subhash Chandra Bose, thanks to the internet revolution
and present Govt otherwise it would never be possible. Also Bose didn't died in 1945 n it's a fact and his life story is what gives us inspiration not some of so called Mahatma's.

How could it possibly have been Bose? He was dead before the British left! Also, the INA were defeated and had surrendered in Singapore, they never posed any real threat to the British military, and the Indian naval mutiny was a failure that ended with the surrender of the mutineers to the British authorities.

He didn’t and why he never showed up is also a dark side of Indian history. Many tried to dig this up but were subotaged or had to face bad fate. And we never got to know the truth about Bose post 1945. If anyone can bring up that dark side to light in the journalism world is only you. Hope we see that happen sometime or other. I will be waiting.

Indian Soldiers in both WW1 & WW2 were a very potent war-machine. The problem was that they were fighting someone they didn't know, for the British who didn't value them. They never got credits for their sacrifices, all of the credits were deliberately stolen by the British and its Allies. India always deserved a permanent seat in the UNSC for the contribution and sacrifices our people made in the wars which had nothing to do with us.
