It depends on where you game. For console gaming, especially Xbox ones, since the H6 USB audio device doesn't work with it, the H9 is doubtlessly the best. But for PC-only gamers, the H6 with slightly better boom mic audio is the obvious winner. If you game on both PC and console, we recommend the H9 with an audio control box for better flexibility.

No you can't disable RGB and not adjust the light settings either.

Sorry no, USB is only for powering the RGB. If you only need a USB connection, consider the H6 instead!
