You don't need to manual swap at c36 just by a ofgear 722.6 controller and c36 shifter plugs right in but you will need a experienced tuner or auto sparky to wire it up. The 722.6 in the c36 is like just like a 8hp bmw transmission it has a lockup clutch. I have a sequential shifter from a pc sim rig in my c36 it shifts in Miller seconds unreal no slip its like a sequential manual gearbox and you can run normal auto mode aswell. The 580nm 722.6 handles about 700nm if you have a shift cut between shifts. The c36 only needs arp headbolts and 3mm mls headgasket to handle 600whp with a turbo. The m104 engine is what toyota copied the 2jz off that's why it's called the German 2j .
I see that you understand about mercedes, I have a W202 C200 kompressor 192cv, with the 5 gears (717.441 according to EPC) it is not very fun to drive, and on the highway it consumes a little more than average, do you think there is a 6 gear gearbox to be made plug & play? perhaps the one of the W203 C200 kompressor 163cv (716.606)? Thanks for the consideration
would still take the C36 every day of the week. that m104 3.6 is buttery smooth
