😄 .. you made me giggle with that short clip from "Men without hats" at 03:10 , and i totally agree, the "Safety dance" makes good sense, especially when there's sharp aluminium flakes flying around in the workshop ^-^,
Hey Scotty. At the outlaws for dinner. Father Inlaw has Street Machine Year Book 2021. Page 85. Such a really great photo of Gus and yourself in Mr Dodgey. Love it.
As bummed as you must be not to get it on the dyno, you're right that this is one to be done properly every step of the way, not rushed. We can wait another week, it's gonna be totally worth it! Still great to see it moving around under its own steam... though with the camera angle you had, there was a bit of a pucker factor the closer you got to the HQ at the end there 😦😄
This is gonna be wicked 👌 You know what would really make the car looks wise now would be a full hsv Maloo bodykit ,like the front bar ,the sail behind the cab and the lower lip kit. I reckon it'd really set it off 👌 and as a bonus you've got a little air duct for the turbos 🤔👌
Its all good mate, All good things come to those who wait. It sounds awesome and will go hard. Gotta love Adams knowledge. One of the best in the business
Scotty, you sitting in that ute suits you. I can speak from experience that LS water pumps are a big bug bear! Just remember, setbacks now & fixing them mean that you'll have it perfect on the day. Great video!
Really interesting video mate. Modern technology giving you an idea of separation and squat is unreal. As I said many video ago, first run will be a 10, easy. Next will be an 8. 7's will happen at Drag Challenge for sure! What a ride this has been.
With my wedding anniversary wiping out the weekend, I have only just gotten around to watching Friday's video. Only a couple of days and I might see it finished. Making some great progress Scotty. Starting to get excited now the finish line is in sight.
I know it’s disappointing Scotty but you are 1000% right in terms of not rushing and making sure it’s handled properly. Rushing just leads to errors and nek minit you blow up an engine lol. Keep doing the great work you do mate!
Regardless of the little annoying issues the Beast is looking good and sounding great. Time to start taking bets on what its first pass is going to be on the track.
Commiserations on dyno, but all good things will come, the instant centre is something not very many will know about, I’ve used in Drag Racing games lol……some games go right into these adjustments.
Hey scotty, just with that intake pipe support bracket on the radiator, careful it still has enough flex for when the engine moves under load. Dont want to crack radiator or pop the intake off.
Hey Scotty, great build & always ready for each instalment. Is there in the wings a possibility that the Ute will be street registered? With all the engineering in the car it would be good to understand the process currently.
@@RWB1111 me neither to be honest just thought it was a little funny to see Scotty go a little pale when Adam said 7's..( the facial expression was priceless 🤣)
Arghhhhhh Another 10,080 minutes of Christmas morning scale waiting!!!!! But, better to sort stuff now than kill the engine later. Should give it a full paint correction detail if you’ve got the time. It deserves to be shiny shiny for the strip
if its not a secret what cam are you running in it, sounds nice, you sound bummed mate, you have built a whole car and didn't take long, you've done a wonderful job Scotty you shouldn't be disappointed build cars long enough you get the gremlins look on the bright side its going to go like a scolded rattle snake
Hey Scottie, let me make you feel better. Did you know there is a IAC for Chryslers which fit in the same hole and have the same plug as the LS IAC? did you know that they are not wired the same? You do now - that little bit of knowledge cost me 40 hours. Fudge cars.
I've been away form the channel for a bit. I really do need to drop around those drinks i owe you. Anyway. What's the benefit of water-cooling the wastegate?
It's not called Carnage without some Carnage. The end of the video was very interesting with all the suspension and centre point. It was not obvious until this video how important all the rear end setup and adjustability is to get the numbers you are chasing. Mpw dropping some knowledge.
When in doubt with earthing always unscrew remove the paint with emery and start again has been my motto as for cam sencor 2mm is what it should be i think
Learning about squat and separation was far better than getting the dyno figures. Knowledge is power.
Carnage video and Cleetus video drop on the same morning. This is one happy kiwi!!

Scott great work Man !

Excellent, just the CHOP! action I was looking for on a Friday when I should be working!

I let Adam guide me back, I assumed he wouldn't let me hit the Monaro or forklift
This is gonna be wicked 👌

Thanks Scotty, now i've got safety dance floating around i my head for the rest of the night..........
Blame Matty for that one
32:33 thats hot scotty
not your head but that lump
Scotty looking good driving that car at the end. It suits you.
Really like this build. Have a VR clubsport so can't wait to see this full throttle!

Adam is the guy you need to get to the sweet spot. Knows what he is talking about. 👍
Love getting it hot off the press being on holidays!!! At least as you said small niggles not engine out ones 👍🍻
Some very nice, quality fabrication on this ute...
One day at a time mate. As spewing as it is, get it 110% right and then you'll be happy with the finish product
Hasan chop!!!
There’s some serious bling floating around the MPW workshop 👏
They'd seriously be following me around with a mop for all the drool if I got to check out that workshop!
Loving this build Scotty
When people rush to the Dyno there's always issues. Gets very expensive very quick when you rush it.
Really interesting video mate. Modern technology giving you an idea of separation and squat is unreal. As I said many video ago, first run will be a 10, easy. Next will be an 8. 7's will happen at Drag Challenge for sure! What a ride this has been.

2:18 opportunity missed “That’s what she said!”
You might have missed the dyno but all that means is more content for us.
Cheers Pat
"Nothing good happens when you rush things". Never have I heard a smarter thing said when it comes to fixing cars.
Great progress scotty

Ahh, thank God it's Friday, and Carnage is here. Thanks for another informative video. The antisquat simulation was interesting to watch.
Sure was. And how good was Adam at explaining and demonstrating it all? Really knows his stuff, what a professional operation this is.
Great work guys, o reason to puke it’s guts out on the dyno if it’s not 100 percent
Next week, can’t wait!
Had to chuckle at Scotty being taken by surprise at what a sharp blade on a decent machine will do.
It cut through that tube way quicker than our little machine.
@@STREETMACHINETV lol yeah you looked quite surprised.
That car is too beautiful to be racing
Loving this car👍🏻👍🏻
Mustang sn95 front coilovers fit into vr-vt with knuckle arrangement. Afco or menser have them on the shelf
Well sorted Scotty, just wonderin, the 427 will be moving a bit when working and the intake pipe being hard mounted, just sayin🤔
The mounts have little movement
Take a bit more material off the cam sensor to get it a touch closer.
Cant wait to see what she does on the dyno.
Well done mate
It can become a bit of a mine field. Thanks for sharing.
Slow down Scotty. It’ll be worth the wait 👍
Sounds rowdy mate 💪🏻
It's very rowdy
AwGawd that thing looks 🥰🥰🥰
scotty put the mocker on it by saying it's going on the dyno. but it wouldn't be carnage without problems arising. good things come to those that wait

The Tuff Mounts don't have much flex in them
that was a cool vid
Sooo Close, I can smell the POWER!. Nice a Scotty 👍.

Adam mentioned 7s and Scotty looked concerned 😂
We'll get there, but the aim has always been 8.50, but let's walk before we run.
Don’t blame him one bit

It is a custom Crow Cams grund, the same that Adam uses in his 7sec VK
@@STREETMACHINETV thank you Scotty
Nice it's now running good. What's the deal on that Black 300 SRT? Looks mean as.
Twin turbo Hemi, it's a beast of car
How great are those proflow products 😂🙄
Hey Scotty what did you do to fix the scavenge pump issue
Put a bigger return on it and feed it straight into the sump
Hello
Hey Scottie, let me make you feel better. Did you know there is a IAC for Chryslers which fit in the same hole and have the same plug as the LS IAC? did you know that they are not wired the same? You do now - that little bit of knowledge cost me 40 hours. Fudge cars.
I feel you dude
Could it use a hood scoop? Holdens would look so much better with hood vents like what is seen on a Subaru. You could make better air flow too😎
Nah it'd ruin the look and it's under bonnet temps won't be too bad being the turbos aren't in the engine bay
I've been away form the channel for a bit. I really do need to drop around those drinks i owe you.
Anyway. What's the benefit of water-cooling the wastegate?
I guess for road racing or rally, it would prevent it from seizing under extreme heat
It's not called Carnage without some Carnage. The end of the video was very interesting with all the suspension and centre point. It was not obvious until this video how important all the rear end setup and adjustability is to get the numbers you are chasing. Mpw dropping some knowledge.
Hey Scotty. Perhaps see if The Man Shake, would be interested in sponsoring then ute?
#superoptimal 👌

That intake pipe looks like trogdor
Scotty needs a haircut 😂
Yep, I do
I don’t like the spoiler in the subject haha. Let me think it will get to the dyno maybe
Good call scoty
Breaking cars for views isn’t ideal, glad you are slowing down to get it right. Too much money and time in it to blow it up this close to the finish
Diesel Caterpillars? no computers
👍👍👍
Hmmm, 61 on the nose on 111 inch wheelbase
😜👍🇦🇺
😃🤘
Some times you gota watch to see scotty only good show sir carry on
100% Scotty it needs to right and rushing can cause a heap more issues
Mate don't bother cutting open the filter its a brand new motor will have all sorts of goodies in the filter element.
That's true enough, the main thing is not being full of gold
@@STREETMACHINETV True.
Lookin good
We all know what the problem is. It's called Scotty 😂
