Rob & Chris, speaking from a technical aspect, that was one of the most fascinating videos to watch! You lads are genius and should be very proud of the standard of work you both achieve. Nice work 👍😊
We just saw decades of dedicated experience past down from father to son and then executed in a professional and entertaining format. What a video lads, a big thumbs up to you both.
There are far too many negative and incorrect opinions by the misinformed who think salvage is bad. You have and continue to do a fantastic job signposting this with factual and detailed content. By showcasing the correct and insurance company/OEM standards to repair damage, it will hopefully educate those in doubt. Great work Gents, love the content and the builds👍
You guys are becoming quite professional you tubers , the quality of your content and delivery is just top notch. Not just great viewing but so educational , keep it up guys.
I have spent 45 years working in the motor trade and thought I was knowledgeable, but I am in awe of Chris and his knowledge and skill I could watch jim all day. Another great video.
Its amazing how the metal pops back into shape if pulled in the Right direction and at the Right angle.... All down to experience, well done you two 👊👊
Hi Rob and Chris, fascinating to watch the alignment pulling on the chassis, Chris certainly knows how much to pull/not pull. Great idea to get the complete front end so you have everything you need in the one spot as you need it. Cheers, Alex.
Whilst I had heard of jigging and pulling for accident damged cars I I didn't know what it involved until I watched your videos - really interesting and informative - appreciate the detail you go into when you are doing the repairs. Looking forward to the rest of the rebuild on the A1.
I watch a guy called Arthur doing panel work and it is quite amazing to watch a panel beater do their work I would suggest to those who don’t think you are doing the correct thing go watch Arthur’s Chanel and watch what he fixes Some of them I suggest should have gone to the wreckers but he fixes them just like new 👍👍
As me late dad used to say bloody marvelous he would of absolutely loved this channel he was an aircraft mechanic for British Airways he loved tinkering he got me interested in cars and I became a mechanic too. Rob and Chris keep up the good work
Hey Rob & Chris, I'm from Australia and stumbled across your Channel a couple of months ago. I love what you both do and you both bring a different skillset to the table and compliment each other. A great team! I look forward to more and hope one day you do an old TC/TD Ford Cortina. One of my favourites from the early 70's. Cheers, Arty
To the new subscribers salvage rebuilds UK show you how a car needs to be fixed correctly they will NEVER DO DODGY WORK & call it done all there work is HIGH QUALITY & FIT & FINISH is top notch this is from me a long term subscriber (me) & watching the high quality work they do on all vehicles look forward to the next one 👍👍👍
Good work, you guys are the Arthur Tussik from the UK. Arthur is very skilled in his trade, but in Russia they don't have similar laws for crashed cars.
I'm glad you made it clear you're not just panelling over (as seen on some other "salvage" channels). Loving the close-up of the pull. Could Chris run a network cable into the workshop and cure your speed issues?
Hi Guys. I've done a few dozen like this over the years . It's very satisfying ......when all goes well !!! No problem for Chris . Thanks Rob. And thanks Chris .
Great video guys 👍 Coming from someone who has worked for Bodyshops for many years, your skill and craftsmanship is very impressive. Thoroughly enjoy watching your videos, keep up the good work 👏🏻
Very interesting process, I've often wondered how these type of repairs are done. Plus it's fantastic you managed to get a complete front end for the measurements and repair pieces. I'm really looking forward to seeing the new parys being fitted. Top work. 👍
0:138:03 So funny hearing new viewers think you're going to do a botch job! 🤣 Us long subscribers know you're going to do an outstanding and professional job. Great work so far.
It's people's perception of the motor trade - unfortunately..... It's a complete shock to find someone doing a proper job - and NOT charging a fortune.......!
@@andymccabe6712 I know! Honest mechanics doing professional, high quality work - who would've thought it! They've previously repaired two Fiestas that were botched up by other people before they came to the workshop.
Chris is great to watch, he is very good at what he does. You make a great team and nothing seems to bother you both when the pressure is on.great video
The energy the car has took in the collision has been extremely powerful, it's just incredible that windscreen stayed intact from such force. Thanks again fella's
A very good repair. With the measuring system. I knew a man who jigged cars with the cellete system like yours. But he would only use the bracket set for the car pick up points. He did not rate the measuring system. He used to say when it's on the brackets it is a hundred percent right. He was a sheet metal worker by trade and the best welder metalworker and car bodywork repairs I have ever seen. He was doing this kind of work in the 1980,s nothing has changed. A car is still the same repair now as it was then. Keep up the good work enjoy your stuff bit of everything. Thanks mark south Wales.
Blimey I’ve watched you guys long enough to see you ain’t going to use bodged up anything, you have straightened stuff to do alignment polarva but not for permanent use. Good to see how you make vehicles come back to life with skill and dignity and no doubt better than before the tangle occurred. 😊
There’s no cut and shut on these videos, Rob and Chris are professionals, every car gets the best treatment because ultimately it’s going up for sale at the end of the day and they make it safe for the next owner. Keep it up I really love this channel 👊🏻
No 'cut and shut' here on SRUK thankfully! Good progress Gents, that did seem to behave it self and obey your command. It is so satisfying to see crafts men at work. It will be a lot of work but it will be good when done. Thanks again Rob and Chris it is really interesting watching this sort of thing. Now go and get your tea Rob (and Chris, especially as Rob stopped you drinking your coffee earlier😁).👍👍
Fantastic video...great to see those legs pull back... curious to see where you will be cutting off the damaged leg and the re weld process....thanks guys..👍👍
Chris is like a human Haynes manual, and Rob your the master director ,both of you guys are great at the "step by step " guide , brilliant as always guys 👍🔥
True master of his craft! Before chris started to pull I kept thinking that you had bitten off more than you can chew with this car, as soon as Chris got on the dozer and the hammers it all came together nicely! I don’t think many accident repair centres would give work like this the time of day now!
Hi from durham guys👋👍 great to watch the pull again on this audi and what I love most is the fact rob your still asking chris questions too which I think is great about learning this process man guys thanks for educating us all chris your great man and just thanks rob without your time guys we would never know and learn so thanks for your time as always be safe and see you soon 👍👋
What an utterly brilliant video, the best yet and you've done lots of brilliant ones. The skill of Chris is just fantastic and you twos explaining what's happening is superb. Thankyou chaps once again 👍🏻
You guys never cease to amaze me, especially with the jig. This is a proper craft which not everyone possesses, like the folks who 'fixed' the 19 plate Fiesta, and you guys rock at this 🙂 keep up the great work 👌🏻
Great video as always guys and very pleasing to watch Chris work his magic with that Jig. Looked like the A1 would never be straight again when you first bought it but the outcome was never in doubt..! Looking forward to the next instalment ❤️👍🏻
Brilliant progress guys. great to see the pulling. I was surprised those legs moved back so easily. The 'cut' of the flood damaged car, what a great set of reference measurements as well as panel parts
Really appreciate this content. So many people treat jig work and pulling like some sort of mystical dark art. Well done Chris on the tools, and Rob with the cameras! Please keep this technical stuff coming👍
I have been a tradesman for 30 years.Sometimes I have people who do not know my methods telling me how to do my job or that I am doing it wrong. It rubs me up the wrong way but I bite my tongue and tell them politely that I know what I am doing and they should just let me get on with it and they will be surprised with the end result. I say I wonder if Michelangelo had people telling him that he wasn't chiselling correctly when he was sculpting the statue of David. As for taking more of the car than you needed, it is way better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it. It is heaps easier to cut it off than to add it on. A great video as always. Thanks fellas.
Rob & Chris, speaking from a technical aspect, that was one of the most fascinating videos to watch! You lads are genius and should be very proud of the standard of work you both achieve. Nice work 👍😊
Phil totally agree, it’s like Batman and Robin climb a wall.
Genii

This is hard-core repair work. Fascinating to watch.
I have spent 45 years working in the motor trade and thought I was knowledgeable, but I am in awe of Chris and his knowledge and skill I could watch jim all day. Another great video.
Those boys got shot of Jim, he took 1 hour getting 2 coffees 🤣🤣🤭
What a great video. Chris is a PhD at what he does with vehical bodies !! :)
Gent's you don't cease to amaze me with the high standard of work and repairs you perform on these damaged vehicles.
Its amazing how the metal pops back into shape if pulled in the Right direction and at the Right angle.... All down to experience, well done you two 👊👊
The master at work, Chris giving us another 'master class' in straightening chassis legs.
Love these type of videos like watching a jigsaw coming together. And not a car vertical in sight 😉
Thanks for the slow mo on the bend !!!
Metal facinates me i studied metallurgy at college ......
Hi Rob and Chris, fascinating to watch the alignment pulling on the chassis, Chris certainly knows how much to pull/not pull.

G'day Arty, I'm in Oz too could you imagine anyone here repairing that? Not likely I reckon.

Amazing work, love seeing the jig work, Chris working his magic on this one
Well shot film, great insight into how it all works. Very clever stuff! Thanks for taking the time. 🖖👍👊😊
No it’s better to just drive home
Hi Guys. I've done a few dozen like this over the years . It's very satisfying ......when all goes well !!! No problem for Chris . Thanks Rob. And thanks Chris .
Rob& Chris your work is second to none, stunning again love the long video’s
This is how to go about doing a proper job, as always lads……another top lesson in how to go about you’re work correctly 👍
Anybody who's followed your channel knows you do NOT cut corners. Chris is a perfectionist as are you.
Great video guys 👍 Coming from someone who has worked for Bodyshops for many years, your skill and craftsmanship is very impressive. Thoroughly enjoy watching your videos, keep up the good work 👏🏻
Fascinating watch as ever and very educational. This is what the internet and RUclips was invented for.
Been waiting to see this one being pulled, great video chaps👍
Very interesting process, I've often wondered how these type of repairs are done. Plus it's fantastic you managed to get a complete front end for the measurements and repair pieces. I'm really looking forward to seeing the new parys being fitted. Top work. 👍
Masters of metal - waffled it straight rob.
When you get the Celette table out it is magical. That Timelapse- slomo was brilliant.

Loved the time lapse on the drivers side leg.....you could see the other panels coming back together. Another great video chaps.

Great job boys , amazing how u get it all to factory fit can’t wait for the next vid cheers
You did a great job explaining exactly what you were doing and getting the best camera shots to show just how much those chassis legs had to move.
There’s no cut and shut on these videos, Rob and Chris are professionals, every car gets the best treatment because ultimately it’s going up for sale at the end of the day and they make it safe for the next owner. Keep it up I really love this channel 👊🏻
Great video and what a difference a few pulls make
Not many people nowadays with this level of skill old school repair rather than replacement
I so enjoy watching you do these repairs, I was supposed to be looking for a gate on eBay but stopped here instead.
You can teach this old new tricks , thank you both for an excellent informative video

Chris's eye for detail and understanding of metal distortion never ceases to amaze me.
Just looks like wizardry to me 😃
I have been a tradesman for 30 years.Sometimes I have people who do not know my methods telling me how to do my job or that I am doing it wrong. Fascinating to watch, proper engineering and metallurgy!! Fab job, lot of work on those spot welds!!
Awesome work as always. Chris is like Henry Moore with a hydraulic jig.
