    I made my own template as best I could watching this and took it on. I had no polyester fill or a sewing machine so with folding laundry basket wires for stability and 5 days of hand stitching all 19 pieces together and made this amazing snuggly hut. When she says "NOT A HAND SEWING PROJECT" I was like challenge excepted. Trust me it's not a hand sewing project lol. Love the project it looks amazing and I'm never doing this again lmao. But seriously so cute and happy I made it

    I’m only a beginner sewer and I managed to pull this off but there was a lot of pricking of fingers with pins and bad words said. 🙈 (Even the dog left the room at one stage). It basically came together exactly as it should but there were a few places I had not caught the fabric properly and will have to hand sew these into place.
    I am confident the next one I make will be better.

    Omg. I have 1 guinea pig( a rescue we are looking for a companion) and he pees everywhere. I made these huts and I have to wash them constantly because he moves the pads I put in them and just saturates the hut with pee. How often do you wash your huts?. I almost have to have 3 or 4 sets of floor pads to swap out every other day cause he's just so messy. Am I supposed to just let him be a little messy? I feel like I'm always cleaning his area. I do have a 2x4 c&c cage setup.

    Hi Sarah! I have a quick question for you. So I’m going to get piggies this summer and was wondering how I can change my daily routine to fit my school schedule and when school sports come around and how to work out how to do all of it and still give my piggies all the love and attention they need. (PS. My name is Emily I just use my moms account) THANK YOU! ❤️❤️

    • @Sophie-pf7qp
      @Sophie-pf7qp 2 года назад +1

      Hey! I recommend getting a routine in place (since piggies like routines) maby if you have time at 4:00 pm everyday (idk what time ur free) change their cage or give them veggies at that time (if you miss a day or two and do it at 5:00 for example it’s ok!

    • @SqueakDreams
      @SqueakDreams  2 года назад +2

      Great advice already - I just recommend splitting the main tasks up into some before school and some straight away (plus topping up hay each time and later in the evening too). For taming definitely interact with them when you are doing chores and stay with them each feeding time to hand feed and bond with them. Try do laptime and/or floortime at least every other day when they are ready (when they are not as scared if they are very timid in the beginning). Best of luck! 😊🌻

    • @SqueakDreams
      @SqueakDreams  2 года назад +1

      Ah I feel your pain! This can happen, especially if the batting is quite snaggy and rough. You can get some that is a lot more smooth (or some which has a rougher side and a smoother side in which case you can use the smoother side facing up), usually it is more smooth the thicker (the higher the oz number) it is too. It is also a case of feeding it through the machine more carefully too, I usually have my fingers quite close to the foot, pushing any fluffy material through as I go. I hope this helps!
