Old Eric church got me through my wild day in high school and now he is making songs like this when I’m engaged and settled down, this man never fails to make the greatest songs.
Last night this song was stuck in my head and the funny thing is I have a flag above my head where I sit everyday, a wooden 76 flag my husband made me.
Eric Church has been my #1 artist on Spotify or RUclips music for several years straight. Every year I get an email telling me my top artist and songs played, it's always Eric.
This man is one of the greatest musicians of our lifetime. He has SO MANY amazing songs, but I dare say this is his best. I don't know what it's like to experience this specific hardship. However, the idea that life isn't easy and we should be grateful to have people who stick it out with us hits hard.
This man has given my highschool years nostalgia and has seemed to make songs that fit life as life goes on. All of these songs bring me so much peace and sadness, but in all, mostly, happiness. Artists like Joshua Ray Walker, Cody Jinks, Colter Wall, Tyler Childers, Sturgill Simpson, John Baumann, Yola, William Clark Green, The Panhandlers and my personal favorite of the year, Hill Country.
Jamey Johnson, Ryan Bingham, Turnpike Troubadours, Jason Boland, Jason Isbell, Ward Davis, Reckless Kelly, Flatland Cavalry, Parker McCollum many many more great artist out there that aren’t in the mainstream, some of these may not be considered country maybe more roots or Americana but they lean towards country and are better than anything on the radio in my opinion
Eric continues to raise the standard with every song he creates. More artists should take note. Thankful to have had his music in my life. Truly the best.

Eric never lets us down he is an amazing singer and song writer I have listened to him sconce I was like 3 or 4 and I am 13 now but I saw him in concert years ago and want to see him again.If anyone gets the chance go see him in concert he is amazing!!!!!

Eric's soulful voice does not need all the "extras" in his songs. My VERY favorite concert of Eric's was in Utah (when his band was ill) and he came out and sang with just his guitar. Most singers need all the "extras" to make them sound good... not our Eric. Keep turning these types of songs out... you rock them!
