    For stretching the achilles tendon etc, would doing the asian squat but holding on to low table infront of me be okay? I am currently doing it for 3 minutes while on the balls of my feet but feeling a stretch down my heel because my tendon going from my foot to my calves are too tight.

      I was doing the same thing before I saw this video! I think it's better to do the stretches he showed because I felt a deeper stretch doing these but it might be okay to practice squatting while holding something too. Good luck!

    Hi is there any advice for the overweight & very out of shape and/or western seniors just getting into fitness?
    Even these warm ups and progressions seem not enough to help with someone who’s hips, & legs not just ankles, are so tight, they can’t seem to squat all the way down.
    Also how many sets of Asian Squat with kettlebell per day or week?
