Great choices! Issue #53 was published during Marvel's 25th anniversary month back in the day. Every book had that special border on the cover that month. I loved Herb Trimpe's art, one of the greats who was never as well known as his peers, but a great artist.
Thank you Goji, l am always loving the extra knowledge you offer. You have been a collector for so long and l have much respect. Yes, l to feel that Trimpe is underrated. Everytime l open a trimpe book l get sucked in. I loved the 25th year, and when you mentioned all the covers it instantly came back to me seeing those in the store aswell. Back then, Gi.joe seemed to get scoffed at by other comic collectors. So to see Snake Eyes as one of the gang made me a happy 12 year old ! Thanks for watching man.
