I've made them a lot with 1/2 c of yogurt, 1 egg and 1 c flour, then I add garlic powder to dough and garlic salt to the top. Also good. I've not tried in the air fryer or cheese though and absolutely will!! Thanks
Hi Judy, I want to try the garlic powder in the dough, I think that would be good! Garlic salt on top would be too! Thanks for watching and Happy Friday!
I’ve been making these a couple times a week and using them to make egg sandwiches! Every Bagel (3), 1 runny egg (0), 1 light laughing cow cheese (1), 1 slice fat free Turkey slice (0) Paired with a banana - SO FILLING!
That sounds really good! We have mainly been using them for sandwiches too but I haven't tried egg sandwiches yet, I will have to! Thanks for the idea and for watching!
Good morning, Alicia!! ☀️☕️ I came right over when I saw this post! These bagels look amazing, I definitely have to make them soon (like probably today!) :) I reactivated my WW account yesterday after a two year break from the program. I'm excited about all the new features and coach lives...and hopefully I can lose some of these quarantine pounds. I'm on the green plan. Thanks so much for the inspiration and all the great recipes!! 🥯
Good morning, Marcelle!🌞 These are so good for how easy they are! I have made so many of them! That is great about reactivating your WW account, we really love WW and the green plan! I look forward to seeing what you make on it!
Hi, Alicia! This air fryer weight watchers bagel recipe looks so good! I know you love Greek yogurt, and I never would have thought about making dough with flour and Greek yogurt to make both pizzas and bagels. I like how you poked the holes with the handle of a broken spatula. I think that the egg wash is definitely important. I have baked empanadas both with and without an egg wash, and there is definitely a difference. I am glad your husband liked them. Even though they didn't have the same texture as bagels, I have no doubt they were great. Thanks for sharing!
Hi, Parnell! I was kind of surprised by how good the bagels turned out with the 2 ingredient dough in the airy fryer. And you are right, the egg wash does make a big difference in things. I have made things with and without it and they always turn out better with that extra step! Thanks for watching, my friend, I hope your week is going great!
Hi, Alicia! Oh my! These look amazing. That is so cool you can cook these bagels in the air fryer. They cooked up perfectly too. They looked so crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Wonderful share my sweet friend. Happy Friday. Many blessings to you. Have a beautiful day sweetie.🥰❤️❤️🌻🌻🌞
Hi Michelle! I was so happy to discover that you can make these in the air fryer because they turn out so well! Thanks for watching and Happy Saturday! Hugs🤗💖
It's crazy how easy this is to make. Love it. I'm such a terrible baker so recipes like this one makes me very excited. I would add the egg too. We'll need to get an air fryer. They look delicious!
Those bagels look amazing! I was shocked by how light and fluffy they turned out. The cheese one was my favorite. Coincidently I have that exact same bowl and I love it. I wish I had the whole set. Great video, Alicia!
Hi Andrea, they are really good and so easy! Don't you just love the Pyrex bowls? I found that set at an antique store and snatched it up. Most of mine are just pieces from different sets and not matching but I love it all, it reminds me of my childhood!
Those look so good! I think I would just use them for dinner rolls. I made the pizza dough the other night with half whole wheat flour and half self-rising and it turned out great! I'm going to give these a try! Thanks for sharing.
Hi Vicki! We eat them as dinner rolls and they are good that way! I will have to try the pizza dough the way you did it, I have only ever made it with the self-rising! Thanks for watching!

Thanks so much, Alicia for posting this video so quickly! Going to try them today! Just for clarification, when you make your 2 ingredient pizza dough, you use 3/4 cup nonfat Greek yogurt and 1 cup of self rising flour, correct?
Good morning, Lori! Yes, when I do the pizza dough, I now usually cut back on the flour to about 3/4 cup just because it is a nightmare to try and work with the dough otherwise when it comes to kneading and rolling it out. With the bagels, you don't do much kneading and no rolling out so the 1 cup of flour works with them! I hope you enjoy them!💛
@@AliciaLynnYT Ok, I'm confused.....I thought when you made the pizza dough, your measurements are 3/4 cup yogurt and 1 cup flour. Are you saying it's the opposite - 3/4 cup flour and 1 cup of the yogurt?
Hey new watcher from the UK 🇬🇧 I was wondering if I could use a different flour eg almond to make them? My mum is coeliac and has to have a gluten free diet, I'd love to be able to make her some too as well as some for myself xx
Hi Melanie, I haven't tried it myself but I think it could work. Since this uses self rising flour, you would need to make sure you added 1 1/2 tsp baking powder and 1/4 tsp to whatever flour you were going to use to make it self rising. Thanks for watching!
@@AliciaLynnYT thank you so much. I shall try it out when we are out of lockdown and I can finally have my mum round, it's been a long time, since Xmas 2019! so it's way overdue I'll make her some, I think over here we can get gluten free self raising flour, I'll ask mum again lol 😂 x
@@mutneymels36 That is a long time! I hope you get to see her soon! I would love to hear how they turn out with another flour when you are able to make them.
Hi Alicia Lynn! Finally. I could not make these bagels in my air fryer. I tried 10 min at 400, 12 min. at 375, and 350, and still they were raw inside. No idea why I just can't get them done in the fryer. However, I set up my small oven and baked one at 400 for 20 min. and it came out perfect! So, I guess that's the solution. I don't understand the why,. but that's it. Wanted to ask you...have you BAKED the two-ingredient pizza dough with its sauce and toppings? If so, what temp? Thanks again! I've been doing WW for 4 months now, lost 28# but I'm fighting to lose the last 10# and can definitely use more and varied recipes! Going for more chicken recipes now:) Thanks!!
I'm sorry the air fryer never worked out for you but I am glad you were able to make them in the oven! I usually do my 2 ingredient dough pizzas in the oven unless I am doing personal sized ones. I cook the dough alone first at 425F for about 5 minutes after spritzing it with olive oil. Then I put my sauce and toppings on and cook at 425 again for another 10 plus minutes, depending on the pan I am making them in. Hope that helps!
@@AliciaLynnYT Hi again, Alicia Lynn! One more question: Do you remember the reason why when you mix the 2 ingredient dough for the bagels, you make the FULL cup of flour/1 cup of yogurt, instead of the 3/4 flour yogurt? Could that be the reason mine are not cooking well?? Appreciate your reply, as usual:) Hope you're well...
When I first started making the 2 ingredient dough years ago, I used the 1:1 ratio because that is what everyone else was doing, including WW. It worked ok but I got tired of having to add extra flour to make it work and decided to alter the yogurt amount. That works much better for dough that requires kneading like the pizza dough. I do still use the 1:1 ratio on things like the bagels only because the dough doesn't have to be kneaded first and I don't mind working with the sticky dough for those. I have only had the one problem with them not cooking well with that ratio and I believe it was because I was in a hurry and didn't flatten then as much as I should have. Air fryers really vary in how they cook so my cook times and temps may not be the same for someone else with a different fryer. That might be more of what happened with yours than anything. It's hard to say. Thanks, same to you😊
@@AliciaLynnYT You know, Alicia Lynn, I love to knead regular dough. However, I feel kind of "gross" to even mix or touch this yogurt/flour mix! I can't tell why, I've dealt with quite sticky dough to make high hydration sourdough, but the yogurt and flour just gross me out!..lol...thanks for your usual prompt reply!
What's the name and where do you buy your Greek Yogurt? Mine is very watery...there's no way to make ANYTHING with a 1/1 ratio. Best (and QUITE difficult) 2/3-1 ratio!!
I used Member's Mark brand from Sam's Club in this video but I also like the Fage brand for the 2 ingredient dough. Both are pretty thick and don't have as much water content as some other brands I have used. Some I have found to be pretty watery. That can make a difference in the outcome, for sure. Even with the brands of yogurt I use, I don't typically use a 1:1 ratio like most people do when I do the 2 ingredient dough for things like pizza dough that require kneading, because it is too sticky to knead. I normally use 3/4 cup yogurt to 1 cup flour and that works much better and is something you can do if you have a thinner yogurt. ,But, for these, since I don't really knead the dough, I do use a 1:1 ratio with the yogurt brands above, and while it is definitely sticky and a little tricky to work with, it has always worked for me.
Thanks, Alicia Lynn. I'm going to Walmart right now for the Fague brand. This is a small town and we don't have a Sam's Club. We belong to BJ's...have to check if they have it. Appreciate your prompt reply!:)
@@AliciaLynnYT Hi Alicia Lynn, I went to Walmart and got the Fage yogurt. What a difference!!! This is twice as thick, easily. HOWEVER, I'm still having a problem: I sprayed a little my air fryer, put the "bagel" inside and sprayed the top of bagel a little too. Cooked at 400 for 10 min, and turned over at half time. HOWEVER, it's RAW inside still...has this happened to you? Should I try 375? If I do any longer, it will burn - this was ALMOST. Any ideas? Thanks again!
I have two air fryers and they both cook pretty hot I think because mine don't even take 10 minutes. I have had mine be a little raw inside once and I think it was because I didn't flatten them enough so they were a little thicker and took longer to fully cook. That's the only thing I can think of. I do think using a lower temp would be good to keep them from overcooking on the outside, while getting the inside fully cooked. I'm sorry these aren't turning out for you!
