Absolutely you can use the real deal. I just use a sugar substitute to keep points low on my WW plan. The two-ingredient dough is perfect for so many things like calzones, fruit turnovers, breadsticks and dinner rolls, pie crust, pretzels and bagels to name a few.
do you think adding some sort of liquid (butter) would help the cinnamon stick better? i know they typically use real butter in a thick layer but if you used the spray type butter or something it could make it damp enough to stick
Gina, you’re so sweet. I post a lot of recipes on my Instagram account. Well, I haven’t been posting a lot of food recently because my dad just died, but I’m slowly cooking again.

I love the two ingredient dough idea! I wonder if they would rise or puff up more if you place them close together on the baking sheet so they are touching... I think I'll try it and see! Thanks for the simple recipe!
Sometimes a put the rolls in a loaf pan and make a cinnamon bread or sometimes I put them in a cake pan so they’re touching in a circle and make a pull-apart. You can add some baking powder to the dough for a ruse or try yeast.
No I way can you resist! The smell in your house must be amazing after baking those!! Love you ending comment on I do something kind for another person ❤
Have you tried using dental floss to cut your cinnamon roll instead of a serrated , chance of damaging your mat? For those who are not sure of what I'm talking about , this might explain it for you , Get a long piece of unflavored dental floss, slide it underneath the roll, put it where you would like to cut, pull up both sides of the dental floss and switch hands, crossing the dental floss, and pull up until it slices through the roll. This will prevent you from having squashed rolls, they will have a nice flat cut. 🍥☕
Omg for one thing she dont make cinnamon rolls very good at all n when I cut my rolls u just do it carefull u dont need to go running after dental floss n u dont need to press them down or throw the ends away n mine dont come out squished my c rolls r bout big as a saucer with walnuts lots of cinnamon n gooey stuff on bottom n u dont put egg rub on top unless u want them dry n crunchy n if u dont like walnuts u can use pecans
Just a suggestion! Next time allow the dough to chill in the fridge for about 30-45 min and then slice into rolls! They’ll keep their shape that way, and no need to press down 😃
I’ve made the these with pecans. The addition of nuts is good. I’ve also added chocolate chips ☺️ I don’t like raisins so my grandmother would put chocolate chips in her cinnamon rolls for me.
Looks good! You make dinner rolls from the dough? I am going to try that! I do IF and eat mostly KETO, but I made pizza from that dough once! Wow thanks I had no idea! Cinnamon rolls! Dinner rolls! Thank you!
I didn’t see the ingredients in the description box??!! What were the measurements of the other ingredients!! Thanks! Looks Good!!Something easy enough for me to make!!🙌🙌🙌🤗😍
If I use two ingredient dough for cinnamon rolls, fruit turnovers, etc., I usually add a little bit of a sugar substitute like Truvia or monk fruit. The cinnamon sugar is made up of Sukrin brown sugar and cinnamon and the icing is Sukrin icing. Both of those Sukrin products are in my Amazon storefront under “my favorite food products.” www.amazon.com/shop/ww.italianwifey
I make my cinnamon rolls spreading real butter down on the dough before the sugar and cinnamon powder. It makes them really gooey and so good. 🙂

TIP: instead of using a knife pick up the Scrolls, try using a bit of dental floss or a bit of cotton. Place it underneath, Cross it over at the top and pull and you'll find it gives a nice clean cut, save the knife cutting your silicone sheet . !!!
Since I made this video two years ago, I have used dental floss. Works great.
My Mom used to make these every Christmas with leftover pie dough. Even though she'd make a dozen different cookie varieties, these were by far my favorite!!
Love that memory!
I always but down a thin layer of room temperature real butter, then the brown sugar and cinnamon.
Butter is perfect! I use butter spray or brush and a thin layer of unsweetened applesauce before I put on the cinnamon sugar instead of butter just because of adding WW points to these roles. If you’re not concerned about WW points, use the butter! 😋
Me to this lady was so basic😐
AWwww I Am So Glad She Made this Video!! For those of Us that don't have a Mother to Help Teach to Bake and Trade Secrets This really Does Warm My Heart and Fed my Soul!! Thank you for Such a Great Recipe!! I'll have to Pick UP Plain Greek Yogurt Next Time I'm at Pick n Save!!
You are way too sweet!
Great demonstration! You're a natural
Very nice video. Look so good. Thank you.
I put a couple drops or eyeball it to thr confectioners sugar! It brings out great flavor to the rolls... TRY IT..
Woops met to say ORANGE JUICE.. AT 63 KINDA FORGET THINGS ESP I WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT LAST YEAR! MY MEMORY HAS CHANGED! SORRY! Have a great YEAR!⛄👀😷🙋💚🙏🌈😈
@@juliegannon3817 Oh no! So sorry about your accident, Julie. OJ it’s great when I use orange zest the filling. I also use orange when I do a cranberry filling instead of cinnamon.
My first visit to your RUclips channel💐I enjoyed your demonstration and am so pleased you told us about swerve confection sugar. I subscribed!
Thanks for finding me, Victoria!! I don't use Swerve anymore as I found it has an aftertaste and big cooling effect in my mouth. I use Sukrin icing which is the same maker as the Sukrin brown sugar.
Great video! Thanks for sharing 😋 I will give these a try! Question: can I substitute the flour for almond flour? Thank you! 🙏🏼
I’m going to try this recipe, looks yum! Thanks for sharing 🙏🏻😊
😀
i am going to try these they look amazing ,Thank you Marianne .
I used 1 cup of each, yogurt and flour but it did not even resemble dough. It was more like soft ice cream.
I added almost another cup of flour to make it into a workable dough.
Came out very good though. Thank you
Hmmm really? Never had that happen.
First time watching your channel. I am a WW member & so excited to make this recipe.
I have used the two ingredient dough making pizza. Love it. Sharing your channel with my daughter.
Also a WW member).Subscribed & hit the bell. Looking forward to follow & learn new recipes.
Marilyn Moore Thank you. I post a lot of recipes and food on my Instagram @ww.italianwifey
These look great! I’ve made the pizza dough many times with the two ingredients. I’m going to make these but use real sugar. Thank you so much for sharing!
ImMo1256 Absolutely. I sometimes use butter spray.
ImMo1256 Or a brush in a thin layer of applesauce.
Just found your channel. Excited to try. What a lovely lady.
Gina, you’re so sweet. I post a lot of recipes on my Instagram account. Well, I haven’t been posting a lot of food recently because my dad just died, but I’m slowly cooking again.
Those look so good. Cinnamon rolls are my favorite desserts. So easy to make. I'm going to make these here soon. Yum
Love seeing someone else using trivia, too. Love tgat stuff.
I’m not using Truvia anymore. I’ve switched to monkfruit. 🤷🏼♀️
OMG thank you, love these easy recipes for me W.W. your new follower.
Hi Linda! Hello thanks so much for following me. I post recipes and more on Instagram ☺️
i could see adding orange to the glaze!! Yum!!
Orange is perfect! I use orange zest and orange juice in the glaze when I make my cranberry orange rolls. I also put orange zest with the cranberry in the filling.
This is so easy! Can’t wait to make these...Thank you! 😎
You are so awesome! THANK YOU..you make this look so easy! I THINK I can do this!!! Thank you for your kindness comment! Nana from Canada🇨🇦
Hi, Nana!! You can do it!! I just posted a new recipe today, my strawberry cinnamon muffins.
@@italianwifey-marianne1632 I will be checking that out thank you! NANA 🇨🇦💝
You need to create an Amazon store do you get a kick back when we see how great it’s is and order one. Thanks for sharing this. I’m going to try making this tomorrow. I found your Amazon store.

I love simple recipes and low in points is an extra plus. Thanks for the great recipe! (The Merri Ella Show)
No I way can you resist!
Bubble Blonde Great idea!! I haven’t ruined my mat yet, but with one slip of the knife 😬
I always use dental floss for this all the time. Works beautifully every time!
I will def tty this dough recipe. How easy. Yay.
Yes dental floss works! Or heavy thread...
They look great. Thanks
Hi... That looks easy and nice.
Do you think these would work with a gluten free flour? They look so very good.
I don’t see why not. I would add baking powder and salt to the flour, though, to mimic self rising flour.
Just a suggestion! Next time allow the dough to chill in the fridge for about 30-45 min and then slice into rolls! They’ll keep their shape that way, and no need to press down 😃
Sammantha Carbajal Great suggestion!
I started doing that but still press down...🤷🏽♀️ Chilling the dough definitely makes it easier to slice.
@@italianwifey-marianne1632 look good
Just found your channel..can't wait to try your recipe..i would add walnuts and raisins!. Mmmm
I’ve made the these with pecans. The addition of nuts is good. I’ve also added chocolate chips ☺️ I don’t like raisins so my grandmother would put chocolate chips in her cinnamon rolls for me.
Excellent presentation! I feel like to have your cinnamon rolls NOW!
Can I substitute the all purpose flour with gluten free all purpose?
Thank you so much for sharing.
I don’t see why not, Ivan. I would add some baking powder and salt to mimic self-rising flour, though.
Looks good! You make dinner rolls from the dough? I am going to try that! I do IF and eat mostly KETO, but I made pizza from that dough once! Wow thanks I had no idea! Cinnamon rolls! Dinner rolls! Thank you!
Dinner rolls are awesome. Try making jalapeño cheddar or rosemary garlic, also breadsticks 😉
I made this dough for bagels. Worked great.
You saw that I did use self-rising flour, correct?
Awesome! Thank you for sharing this, I'm going to try making these!
That is my all time favorite yogurt to, taste great, has little to no sugar and tastes so natural 💕♥️👍🏻
Mine, too! 🙌🏼
Mine tree
I also clone it sometimes
making my own starting with a table spoon of oikos
Works wonderfully every time.
Can I use my Kitchen aide mixer(dough hook attachment) to kneed? I have arthritis in my hands.
Karla hi I use the hook to do my dough always👍FORGOT TO SAY ON LOW
Definitely!!! I use the hook when I make larger batches.
I didn’t see the ingredients in the description box??!!
What were the measurements of the other ingredients!!
Thanks! Looks Good!!Something easy enough for me to make!!🙌🙌🙌🤗😍
At the end of my video there is the recipe listing the ingredients and measurements.
It looks delicious! I should try baking one soon
Those look yummy, what was the sugar you added with flour and yogurt, and the sugar for glaze
Both of those Sukrin products are in my Amazon storefront under “my favorite food products.”
