    Who in there right mind would go out by a brand new bike & put the worst cheapest exhaust on it LOL.🤨🤦🏽‍♂️😑

      🤣103 or 111hp on top... 49 or 55 down "low". It's still a mopped, but OK for race-trashing I guess, or just street-racing annoying everyone that hate a noisy exhaust.. We're all made different "or something" 😊. So maybe that is the reason for installing a cheap, *noisy*, crap exhaust. No point in puttin' a nice tail on a "pig".

    Hey from the UK 👋 I've got a 2013 GSX-R 600 and have a full Akrapovic exhaust with normal sized can to fit before having the bike mapped, I've already fitted a P08 filter. I plan on keeping the bike so have been looking at velocity stacks before having the map done. From your videos featuring velocity stacks, the general rule seems to be a slight mid range loss in the mid range for a top end gain. Is this the same for the GSX-R 600's?
    The bike is my toy and notobably won't live life in straight lines at high rpm. Would you say stacks would be worth it if the end goal wasn't chasing max power numbers? If it makes any difference I only run 99 or 97 RON pump fuel which is about 95 or 93 for US ratings.

    0:35 Not sometimes, Almost ALWAYS. Even on an Automobile with a restrictive catalytic convertor and such. Yes you open up the flow but you also effect the Air Fuel Ratio (as hes shown here repeatedly). The o2 sensors reads the mixture, and adjust based on what its TOLD to look for. Without a Tune, slapping an exhaust on anything is actually a net loss. Science people. Dont even try to argue unless you have researched it. NO your fart can does not add 10% HP to your 60 hp Civic.

    Wouldn't the O2 sensor detect a lean condition?? What type of fuel? Ethanol makes it even leaner.

    • @ianm432
      @ianm432 Год назад

      Not at wide open throttle, it only adjusts in closed loop based on the O2 sensor because its a narrow band. A narrow band can only read slightly richer and slightly leaner than 14.7

      These bikes aren’t like cars which have closed looped or flex fuel system.narrow band and wide band are both used in closed loop.The only difference is 1 sensor is more accurate and has a wider spectrum in read the afr.The only bike that does that currently comes with closed looped EFI is the latest BMW s1000rr from 2020.Most motorcycles are open looped which means they only use the O2 sensor during start up after that the O2 sensor is not used by the Ecu which is why it’s called open loop.after the bike is running the Ecu will use the programmed fuel tables 99.9% of the time for fuel delivery.The next sensor it uses is the map sensor to make adjustments buts minimum adjustments on fuel delivery.the only way to get closed loop on a open loop bike is a standalone Ecu hope this helps 😉

      Must be a Euro 5 ECU emissions thing. Rich is rich and lean is lean.
