Pops and bangs is unburnt fuel and after a few years of it, it WILL burn a hole in your muffler. Ask any fz09 owner who didnt use air injection system block off plates after installing their yoshi exhaust.. get about 10k miles before you have to buy a new can.. not worth it.

600's are good but I personally like the 750's as they have more torque and power(Bhp/Ps) and i believe that they are more pleasant on the road and faster.

To get rid of the popping remove and plug the Pair Control Solenoid Valve. The flash will disable the FI light but not the valve. With the valve installed you will get an inaccurate AFR reading due to the extra air being pumped into the exhaust.
Are these on all Gsxrs? I had something similar called an Secondary air injector on my Daytona 675. Looking into buying a Gsxr.
@@marlonthomas2713 Every company calls it something different but its all the same emissions crap. Yes, all new bikes have this crap but it's easy to remove and get full power.

My bike idles funny on start up and pops on deceleration. How can you ensure that the fuel and air are leaned out correctly without doing pulls with the bike on the dyno?

I love the clap back on slow down on my 04 Kawasaki ZZR 1200 with Radiant Cycles GP exhaust . Hey Chris what can do to get some more horse power with out getting a turbo or nitrous system? The top end is on is good , but all more midrange punch would be great. So I can stay with them Bushes and ZX- 14's , I don't get with them until I'm at warp speed.

I think the sound of crossplane is an abomination.... Who would have thought changing the firing order would cause such a bastardization to the sound...Sounds more like a p4 now than inline!

I haven't watched all of your tuning videos but just a question: Are there often improvements to be had by altering the spark advance tables from stock? You always show the fuel curve and spend time dialing that in very well but I haven't heard you mention anything about spark timing. Just curious, thank you.

I remember when a very healthy 600 made 90 HP. These modern 600 engines are incredible.
Most 600's will make over 100. Unless they are like 2003 or older

Hey bud, do you reflash for a 03 gsxr600 k3? I'm getting alot of bogging in the half to 3/4 dange of throttle and backfire on deceleration. I know my tps and svts needs replaced but I'm looking for a bit more power, just a smidge, even if I gain a couple hp that's all I'm looking for

Nice job man.I got the exact same year an model,I went with a MJS mid pipe and m4 gp shorty slip on and got it tuned by a really good local tuner near Columbus he went from 103 to 112 to the wheel with FTECU software.By the way What software are you using?
Also I seen that you’re target AFR is 12.9 is that too rich for higher Rpm’s my tuner had mine set around 13.1

Hey M.M. I have a 2017 750 that has the same issue after 13000rpms. Its very noticeable in 5th & 6th gear. Outside of that I love the character of the bike. I got it flashed & tuned 9000 miles ago but I think I can get 185+mph if 5th & 6th gear are fine tuned. I haven't got it done yet because I don't want to change anything else about the bikes engine to throttle response. What do you think. Should I leave it alone or is it worth sending in? I considered buying another ecu to send in or even buying a power commander.
I have no idea what could be in your ecu. It might help it might not. You can send it in and let me read it to see if there is anything we can do to help.
Chris i have an off subject question im hoping you may know the answer to. Does the header off an 07gsxr750 fit on a 2016gsxr750 head ? Reason i ask is cause id like to use the akrapovic shorty from the 07 on my 16 to not only eliminate the cat but also have a short tucked away exhaust

What Are your thoughts on having a bike turned on the dyno versus sending in the ECU in to get flashed
Dyno is more accurate but a good tuner can have it 90+% correct thru mail in

I hope you mapped in in the correct map select because it’s out in the software. Also the fuel trims need to be reset to 100% or it will stay lean if you open the STP. They do not need 30% fuel. Also was the clutch switch connected? If it’s not working the Secondary injector don’t work.
The clutch switch was working. It only needed a few percent up top. Around 5k rpms i had to add a good bit. I'll look into those fuel trims. I forgot about those! Good tip.
So.... will this make more horsepower or does it just effect air fuel ratios?

Does this have the pops and bang map?
So Exhaust/ECU on a GSXR600 is around 110rwhp and a 2017+ R6 is around 114rwhp or so? That's kinda the numbers I'm seeing on RUclips (average)
600s in general .. my 09 zx6r stock did 102 on the dyno and after intake and exhaust 110

We run 6.5s at 22x PLUS mph in the 1/4 mile. Yes we like extended swingarms.

Yeah but the 750 would be really sweet since it makes a bit more power naturally and is about 420lbs wet vs the 600 which is around 410.
in europe it has stock 125 hp why does the us always get the detuned stuff
