Chris, awhile back I read some articles about intake port dimpling. From what the engine builder said that dimpling doesn't change the CFM on the head or anything. But it helps with fuel atomization n that's what has the effect on the small horsepower gains
Archie Dentone there is simply no need to mention a turbo in this video whatsoever as this motorcycle doesn't have a turbo on it. This particular bike is not the same bike as the one you are referring to in that video. That bike is of course turbocharged and everyone who knows anything about motorcycle drag racing knows that and that it is the quickest and fastest no wheelie bar motorcycle in the world. World records aren't dependant upon sanctioning bodies to exist. For the record that same bike is the 2nd fastest prostreet bike in the world under sanctioned rules.

We never once claimed that the only modification to this bike was the velocity stacks. We have made multiple videos showing everything that has been done to it and the results both on the dyno and at the track from those mods. This video shows what differences we have seen not only on this bike but on every single bike we have put them into as a reference guide for anyone looking at buying the stacks.
My 2019 zx10r has both carbon Smith velocity stacks and the Moore mafia flash. You can really feel the bikes transformation as you climb the power band. I highly recommend them both! Thanks Chris 😊

Serious gains from back to back testing from peak #'s and thru the power curve . But dyno numbers are just that , real gains are on the time clocks 👌 . Look forward to seeing the gains !

I always say,the dual stack things work!Like the bigger throttle body things..You can play with lower stack,to size it to the rpm limit,and with upper to the mid power(length,width,stack lip,etc.)The dyno dont lie,the "cheapest" ~10whp :) For the best result,you must remove the airbox,and make one diy use all space you can under gas tank.Bigger size throttle body,which must sit inside the new airbox,dual stacks,cams.Easy 30-40whp,if done right!

Just a thought, I read that Dyno jet dynos were designed for the bike to be sat on by the operator. Supposedly they need the added rider weight to maintain the best rear wheel contact aka non slippage (?). Rumor is that it's good for a few HP.

Seriously, any child of engine tuning knows that shorter stacks gives better HP. Create stacks of equal length as stock with dimples and then you have a real test of engineering. Nice Bike!

I've been following the build since the start and lov and loving it.. Cant remember if you upgraded the coils or anything in the spark department.. if not wouldn't a stronger spark allow you to burn more fuel and intern make more hp ?

@@richarddean9306 I’m not finding any pictures showing 2020 model , all I’ve seen including my 07 1000 injectors are on throttle body assembly which is still under stacks injectors of course will always be aimed towards valve seats in any engine configuration they will not spray up to stacks nor would that be an efficient method of fuel delivery but either no big deal I was just curious just caught what he said in video

It also seems like it held back in gears 1 to 4 but 5th gets full power .

Actually there is in fact fuel above the stacks as the secondary Injectors sit in the top of the air box directly above them

cris you need one of them auto adjust chain idler on that lomg arm bike the chain gets hella loose on bottom when doing a pull

Those dimpled ones could do better, if they were a bit longer. Not much, but around 5-10mm. Just to even out the dips in the power curve.

It does have upgraded Coil packs from ENERGY COILS

Looks to me as if the injectors are above the stacks and the butterflies.

I assumed those were the injectors on top of the air box. 4 connectors and 4 nozzles inside that looked like em.
Yeah at 8:30 you can see them clearly, they are apart of the top of the airbox
