I don't believe Dan Campbell made a bad call on the on-side kick. If you think the team you are kicking to is going to score anyway you might as well do the onside kick because the Lions weren't just chasing the score. The Lions were chasing time as well. The Lions needed more than two scores and if you can't stop Buffalo, you could at least limit the amount of time they will use to score. The guy who recovered the onside kick going another 40 yards was an anomoly.
I never put too much into a season record .. remember the '98 15-1 Vikings .. '95 6-0 Saint's with Ironhead Hayward finishing 6-10 .. rankings are good fireside chat but I can definitely see Tampa or the Rams making the Superbowl
Just remember before the season Nick didn’t have the Eagles in the Top 3 tiers of teams in the NFL. For whatever reason he’ll never give them any respect or credit for what they’ve accomplished
The Bills beat a team with a beyond decimated defense 48-42 and people talk about the Bills like they won by 40 instead of it being a one score game. The absolutes stuff applies to you too Colin if that's what you "really" believe.
Bills had a lead the whole game to the best offense, on the road no less. Bills had both safeties out as well. Both teams had hurt secondaries. Lions need to get healthy fast. Go Bills
Regarding the lions discussion, I don’t think Dan Campbell’s decision to kick the onside kick was an indictment on the defense as a whole. It was just for this particular game where Josh Allen, who has been decimating defenses all season, had the cape on from start to finish and was too much for a decent but severely weakened defense of civilians to handle. Against most other qbs not named Mahomes, Lamar, or Burrow, he will trust his defense to do enough where the offense can win the game with 30 pts, which they do almost every week
Nick is hilarious. Agree with him or not, I love how ride or die he is for the Chiefs and Mahomes and I enjoy how petty he is. He's wrong sometimes, but he's usually right when it comes to the Chiefs so I enjoy listening to him talk.
Chalk says it's BUF and KC in the AFC Championship Game and DET and PHI in the NFC Championship Game. Any SB matchup from those teams would not surprise anyone. But, there are teams on both sides that could spoil those parties and, as a Chefs fan, they may be 13-1 but I don't have a lot of confidence in them in the playoffs.
Good, passionate relationships are NEVER the most quiet ones. Same for high performing Teams. The Eagles know how to and where to channel their frustrations … on their next opponent.
Lions HC Dan Campbell is THE BEST in The NFL right now. Just because he gambled on an unconventional in a Nationally televised game and it didn't work out well, is an outlier. The truth is, in 3 years Lions HC Dan Campbell and his staff have TOTALLY changed a team and "culture" never before seen in Motown USA. The Lions faced a very good Bills team, after playing 3 games in 11 days, one against a division opponent who are ballin, with their best defensive players on the sidelines with injuries. They went into the game 12-1, best in The NFL, and these guys are going to focus in on ONE call/play. Totally not fair. The Lions, under the leadership of HC Dan Campbell are going to win The Super Bowl Championship with backups.
I would take Dan Cambell over McDermott for my team any day. Dan is a leader of men while Sean, according to that Dunne article, throws people under the bus and gets "tight" in big spots. We see that with his horrendous game mamagement. McDermott will do everything right until it matters most, then he reverts to old school football guy. I'd rather lose by following the data and aggression than have McDermott simply give the game away when the right answer is obvious.

Now the shoe's on the other foot and he can't take the hate 😂
They get mad at Jalen Hurts criticizing how the media covers the team's play and then make a bigger story out of a sideline argument during a dominant win...
Complete BS spin by Colin it drives me nuts when he does this. He can’t stand the fact that he has to eat crow about Nick S so he’ll find anything he can to push his “fire Sirriani “ take. Smfh
Nah, Jalens a comment was a “when you points finger at someone you got 3 pointing back at yourself” moment.. His own teammate created that noise, NOT the media
@@senacabarnes8799bro I said the same thing. Spot on
I like Nick although his strategy of attaching himself emphatically to Lebron and Mahomes is transparent: they’re the best and he by association is also great.
The most annoying part about this Jalen Carter situation is the fact that all of these “”journalist keep on saying that this should not happen but every ““player that you hear talk about it says that this is a normal occurrence smh

I kinda like that actually
That, unfortunately, could be a great fit. Vikings fan, so I'm hoping they don't get a great coach. The north is tough enough already!
He's wayyy too old for that dude. Maybe five years ago or so, but now no way.
Defensive head coaches are not doing good in the nfl. Look at the best teams in the league and their head coaches. Almost all of them are offensive oriented
Nick you are in an alternate universe. Eagles had Chiefs that entire Super Bowl. Eagles lost it. I don’t see Hurts having that fumble again in a rematch and this team is just straight up better. I want the rematch.
The chiefs beat the bills in playoffs because of coaching. Allen outplays Mahomes every playoff game but his coaching staff gives the chiefs the games. It’s hilarious how bad Mcdermot has been in the playoffs and nobody talks about it lol
Bingo. 3 seperate mistakes in those last 13 seconds in 2021. No squib kick, not tackling the receivers on the first play, and then calling a defends to stop a touchdown instead of a field goal. Anyone could have made that throw to Kelce. That was coaching, not Mahommes. This doesn't even count punting on 4th and 1 earlier in the 4th quarter either.

There are at least 7 broken teams in the NFL:
Browns, Jets, Giants, Panthers, Jags, Bears and Raiders

@@yzfool6639huh? Which playoff team do you think can’t be beat by the others? Detroit and Eagles absolute could get beat by any of them.

Why would they keep Nick Sirianni around if he doesn’t do anything? The double standards when it comes to the Eagles is laughable at this point.
Go Bills
Nick is collins therapist, he made him laugh so hard every week
It’s segments like these you can tell Nick Wright has never been part of a locker room. He blows so many things out of proportion.
Ranking the Rams higher than Minnesota is wild.
The Eagles act exactly like people in philly act. Everyone argues and fights but its all good.
Exactly...it's called "working out a situation"
If the Eagles play the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, the Eagles are gonna crush them.
