"Pain is life's only guarantee. Not love, nor fortune. No matter how big and fat one's purse, or bare-bone dry their pantry; pain is life's promise." -Charles Dickens, Nicholas Nickleby
After finishing the whole video, I now realize this animation basically retells the whole story but we didn't know that if Pyrocynical's video is the first time we discover the world of Darkwood. I'm amazed!
Perfection! I'm speechless... Both the song and the animation are incredible and fit so well with each other, and the animation describes the entire 8+ hour video in so few scenes. They also create the perfect somewhat depressing atmosphere the story has. And the choice to place them at the very start of the video telling the upcoming without actually telling is so well. (Many word for speechless lol)

There was never A way out of the woods, I still don't believe that and i'm not even in such a said situation, despite fully knowing the same way the protagonist knows I cannot help but desperately believe that there HAS to be a way out. There just has to be.
I get it, I love this animation and the song that goes with it. But heh, this video is ALWAYS in my Recommended tab, despite having watched it numerous times now.
doesn't really make much of a difference for the two videos he's done it for, though for something like far cry 3 it definitely worked better at the end
I think it's better at the start, cuz it acts as a nice intro but doesn't spoil anything since no one knows the story yet. (I didn't pay much attention at the start, and after watching the whole vid, i watched this vid and put everything together.)
Why does it have Pyrocynical in the name if it's just the Darkwood story Edit: nvm I thought you had made the animation, just saw it's part of Pyrocynical's video
Well the rocket did indeed worked somehow. Buuut it crashed near the scrapyard later, so rip Piotrek. Still in the epilogue it is said he was very happy the moments when he was in the air so he died happy, with his dream realised
Between Darkwood, Cyberpunk Edgerunners, and of course The Witcher, it really seems like you can expect emotional misery from any Polish product.

Yeah this is.a retelling of the entire plot condensed into a 3 minute animation, absolutely incredible stuff
*The only way out is through…*
Basically the exact same thing he did for entropy zero I really enjoy it great way to start a video :D

I’ve watched this at least ten times a day since Pyro’s video came out and it still manages to take my breath away each time.
Beautiful Animation and song choice ngl

I’m glad I’m not the only one that saw that LMAO
The song and animation gets true to one another it's perfect
Wow.... this is a masterpiece.
One word: incredible
There was never A way out of the woods, I still don't believe that and i'm not even in such a said situation, despite fully knowing the same way the protagonist knows I cannot help but desperately believe that there HAS to be a way out. There just has to be.
At least In the true ending we created a way out by burning it all
Hearing Ecco2k in a Pyro video was a welcome surprise
This def needs more recognition
I get it, I love this animation and the song that goes with it. But heh, this video is ALWAYS in my Recommended tab, despite having watched it numerous times now.
Really wish he'd go back to putting these at the end of the video
it would've felt better there i agree
doesn't really make much of a difference for the two videos he's done it for, though for something like far cry 3 it definitely worked better at the end
I think the amount of money and time that went into the animation it makes sense he wouldn't wanna put it at the end of an 8 hour video

Wait. Did piotrek Really just flew away and leave the forest?
If you didn't let the wolfman rig the parts.

whats the timestamp on the pyro vid
@@_hexo around 2:15
Is that an unlitforest reference!??!!??
looking at how there are no pupils in their eyes, it feels weird
U can see it when the doctor backs
I think it's so not create eye contact with the viewer and take too much attention from the whole scene.
