A living legend and the most amazing and best performer I have ever seen. He clearly does what he is born for and from the bottom of his heart. Been front of stage a few weeks ago. Was the only ticket category but worth every cent. THANKS to "The Boss"
My husband and I are taking my Dad on 8/18 in phila! Im a true Jersey girl and they are both Phila boys! None of us have ever seen him live! We are all just counting the minutes!!! I hope they play Jersey Girl!!!
My husband is a Philly boy and he and I have tickets for Friday night too. I’m sure you saw the news. Illness so postponed tonight and Friday night. To be rescheduled and to hold onto our tickets Ugh. Disappointed hope nothing serious
The house lights are normally turned on at the start of born to run (normally played early in the encores) and normally stay on until the encores are over. This is traditional for Springsteen. On this tour, the house lights may be turned back off for the last encore played solo acoustic.
More and more it seems Germans always feel they do all things best..... they use to call a Americans - Those Ugly Americans if they felt they had the best things.... Always comes back to this for you guys though.... every couple generations gain. Like this chat forum kind of thing I read..... one form on Urban Planning and OMG the German guy is always demeaning America till scolded by moderators and ALL THINGS German is BEST.
@@michaelamurray tradition for him is for house lights to come on for born to run and then remain on for the duration of the encore! Which is awesome as it just makes one big party
I don’t go for a light show. I go for the rock show. Watching All of the band members perform and be featured on many solos is why I go. Watching Bruce take many solos and then conduct the band is why I go. Watching Bruce get drenched in sweat during the show is why I go. Having the house lights turn on and seeing the entire stadium sing and dance is why I go.
I have always noticed how much more passionate Bruce’s European crowds are. There is a great video of Bruce in Rome playing Badlands, OMG, the crowd was just electrifying, enough to give you goosebumps. @@peterb6053
I enjoyed it! Thanks for posting! From a Jersey girl 👍

I'm 56 and have loved Bruce since I was a kid. Finally get to see him here in Philly on 8/19/23. This has certainly whet my appetite.

I am going to see him in Ohio this April...I feel like a little kid on Christmas waiting for Santa...so excited 😁😁😁
@@ladybalor5261 My show was cancelled due to his illness, so I'll be seeing him in August.

Did they ever turn the house lights off?
About half way though the show the house lights came on. Just created a GIANT party atmosphere! It was awesome...

The seating for watching this show was not worth it. No light show? Might as well just hang outside of Wrigley Field and listen to it.

@@tomcomings Agreed, 100%. No light show is needed to provide a distraction from awesome rock and roll
So many in the crowd strolling around as if they aren’t interested. Are US audiences always so unresponsive?
Because most don’t care or hell only know 2 songs. It’s just so they can post on there social media outlets and say look I was here.
@@JoshSimpson47 That’s sad. The audiences here in Europe are so passionate and love Bruce’s music.

@@peterb6053 I’m a big Rolling Stones fan I have many European concerts on dvd and it always seems like an amazing time
The band sounds great. But his voice is gone and just ruins the moment
I feel bad for the people who live in the surrounding buildings next to Wrigley Field. They were forced to listen to this garbage music.
@perrynight2394...I was there wensday night and Friday night packed stadium he sold out both shows!!!!
Sec 205 Wed, Sec 330 Fri both were great
