And then there's Fox, whose face we've never seen. Almost makes him feel less human, less sympathetic, the unquestioningly loyal, ideal imperial soldier that we're meant to dislike.
There's one fanfic I read, it took a small moment I to the Coruscant guard as am alt time travel fiction, in it it was found by a heavy that survived the reeshi moon incident that it's comment for the guard to meet with Palpatine and wake up heading back to their barracks tired as can be due to codes being used on them repeatedly, I prefer to think that's what made Fox use lethal instead of stun.
The fact that Waxer was killed by friendly fire that didn't need to happen and he was the first clone to cry STILL makes my blood boil to this day. Rex should've taken that shot. There's no high ground in war.
I get what you mean but poor choice of words, There is very much high ground in war lol (ignoring the obi-wan obvious jokes). Taking an uphill position is always harder, bullets rain down getting more kills, nades and shrapnel will travel down but not up (by shrapnel i mean like artillery on a slope may have some go uphill, but the majority of fragments/disleveled dirt etc will go down (because simple geometry of a hill/cliff blocking projectiles and more things), high ground gives a better vantage point for scouting ahead and it increases the angle of potential bullet rain from a flat line you'd get from level fighting, which in turn increases the potential for head/upper body shots which increase kill rates, plus it weakens any cover from forces attempting to agress from below you as you can see over their cover potentially should the angle be right. Additionally, idk if star wars blasters/artillery have blaster bolt drop off like gravity does to bullets/arrows in our world, but the high ground vastly increases the range you can fire regular munitions. Other auxillary things like improved communications potential by evading obstructions, the impact of water and humidity that can negatively influence the low ground, especially running streams of water, the ability to abuse certain heavier than air gasses/chemical warfare against the lowground, the literal physical difficulty for armed, weighted down soldiers to aggress uphill, the fact hills and mountains have steeper sections or valleys that deny entry and force infantry ground units to push in certain directions only, and the ability to vertically layer defences to fire whilst retaining a full fov, and many other reasons I could list below. I'll give you some easy examples for you to consider why the high ground is in war. In WW1, in the gallipoli invasion (about the dardanelles in turkey), the allies got mowed down by machine gun fire and had a significantly higher death rate than the ottomans who held the defensive high ground with simple sandbag and machine-gun fire. Another you ought to be more familiar with: the D-Day landings in WW2. The germans took the french coastal barracks/fortifications from the east (land side, relative flat ground) and the english, canadian and american forces that invaded the north-west coast of france had to push up a beachfront much like gallipoli into machinegun fire without any viable cover. To quote the Normandy Landings wiki: "Casualties were heaviest at Omaha, with its high cliffs." It was moreso the artillery fire and the already stretched german forces fighting russia in the east that led to the 'success' which cost thousands of lives. Consider forts around the world in all cultures that partook in warfare, connected or disconnected to the european/MENA world, and you'll find that they are built on the high ground. The great wall of china, the defence against raiding mongols that pillaged northern china, was built on pre-existing mountains. Literally google 'high ground in war' as i just did and there are many more reasons I didn't brainstorm seeing as I want to sleep as its 11pm here lol. Also, how you hating on rex? Rex the goat man.
I think my favorite detail about Mayday's armor is that when he has his helmet on, instead of the the usual slightly static-y/filtered sound that most helmeted people in Star Wars have, his voice is super distorted because of how worn and barely-functioning his armor is.
In the Military you can see this too. The way it goes in the Marine Corps generally goes as such shaved head means recruit, first deployment, or old guy who simply didn’t want to keep up with haircuts. Guys with high and tight’s are either new or extremely moto. High fade normally means slightly less new or slightly stricter adherence to orders than most. Medium fade is what most guys had it’s clean, it’s presentable, and you won’t get chewed out for it. Low fade are generally the old hands who simply don’t care about that kind of thing anymore, they aren’t worried about getting chewed out because they’ve been with the unit long enough that nobody seems to care. Then you have mustaches, most are either grown on deployment or are just a mainstay with the guys who like them. For all of this I can say I ran the full gambit and in pictures it was easy to tell when it was taken based off my haircut and whether or not I had a mustache

And the other being CC-8241 "Rigg" who, after being abandoned by the empire, reunited with his Jedi general and went on to add a mythosaur marking on his chest plate and getting a tattoo on his cheek reading "For the Republic and my fallen Brothers".
Conversion for mm to cm to inches is 25.4 mm = 2.54 cm = 1 inch (This conversion is so messy why just why!) So by multiplying by 8 if you want 8 inches. 2.54 * 8 = 8 inches So to get an inch it takes 25.4 mm / 2mm = 12.7 months to get 1 inch Which tells us that to get 8 inches you need to be in space for 12.7 months * 8 = 101.6 months meaning roughly 8 and a 1/2 years in space.
