  • Hot Rod Power Tour West 2023 was incredible! My 10 year old son Finley and I traveled from Oregon to Southern California to take part in it. We trailered by 1970 Dodge Coronet down with my 1996 Dodge Ram 2500, V10 & 5 Speed Manual. We had a few hiccups on the way down but nothing stopped us from getting there. We met several of the hosts of Motor Trend Shows, checked out some incredible cars and had a great time with like minded people!

I think the best part of the video is that you are having a road trip with your son. He will never forget the trip. I am so glad your career change had turned into more time with your family. Great video with a great message. Thank you!

Check hitches every time you lose sight of your trailers! We were team roping one day rears ago and had out Gooseneck Trailer hooked up. Stopped to eat trailer still hitched. A half hour later we went to leave and checked the hitch and some A-Hole uncoupled the trailer.

Thank you for watching, subscribing and commenting! I appreciate it! I try to make it a habit to check my hitch, tie downs and trailer wheels every time I stop. Like you said, it’s a good practice and hopefully can help prevent any failures ahead of time.

Cool video. Someday for me to cross off bucketlist. Not a fan of those drift cars. I'm into the classic.

Thank you for watching! So many cool things happening I tried to get a flavor of them all. Drifting isn't my thing either but their car control was pretty impressive. Overall it was a very fun day!
