There ain’t a cottonpicking thing wrong with this song or video! They could have cheese slices all over the screen and this would still be the fireest of fire! Love that you love Steve Perry/Journey as much as I do ❤️🎼❤
The thing I hate about this is that it's the Radio Edit. But it's one of their most killer tunes. Check out, Stone in Love for their hardest Rock song.🔥🤘🏽🔥🤘🏽
I remember like it was yesterday when my oldest brother pulled into the driveway in 1975 in his brand new candy apple red Pontiac Firebird Trans Am and he was playing an 8 track of The Eagles: One of These Nights. I was in the 5th grade. I've been listening to them ever since only now I listen to The Eagles driving my black Mustang GT. May he rest in peace.
I love the video because it takes me back to the 80s, the hair and clothes, I remember all these looks the woman’s hair style and dark nylons with white heels…Yes they actually dressed like this back then! Another amazing fast paced song is “Anyway you want it” and the video is awesome.
Steely Dan: "Black Cow", "FM", AJA, Reelin in the Years, PEG, Do It Again, Don't Take Me Alive, KID CHARLAMAGNE, Hey Nineteen, My Old School, Green Earings, Rikki Dont Lose That Number, Deacon Blues...........SO MANY BANGERS!!!!
Journey is still popular in the Philippines to this day. I hear them all the time. Musical tastes are in a time warp here, which suits me just fine. When taking a taxi, I rarely hear a song I don't know from decades ago.
Journey isn't Journey without Steve Perry. He has the most amazing vocals. I usually hate it when someone does a cover of a truly classic song but you should check out American Idol contestant Daughtry who went on to have a good career. He does an amazing job with this song as a duet with this girl (forgot her name).
No idea how old are you... In my generation about 50yo nearly everybody knows Steve Perry as "the Voice". And I'm from f**king Austria in the middle of nowehre in Europe.
Oh, man. You ruined it by saying Kevin Durant. Steve sometimes falls down the vocalist lists because the rock purists don't think he's gritty enough and Journey is "too commercial." Anyway you are wrong about KD. Steve Perry is the Steph Curry of vocalists: someone always has a reason why he's not so great, overrated, etc. Steve "only sings ballads" like Steph "only shoots threes." And hey, they have practically the same name! Stephen/Steven Curry/Perry.
Everyone loves this song... It's the video people don't like.. Even the band doesn't like it... But they didn't like doing music videos anyway... They were forced to... That's partly why it's bad they didn't put any effort into it.... They felt that they're best work was on the stage not in music videos
I've been a Journey fan since I was 9. I've always considered this their worst video, but over the years I've embraced the cheese factor of it. People don't realize that back in the early era of music videos, most of them were pretty bad. This was pretty standard stuff for the time. Having said that, I know people that consider this one of their best videos, so go figure.
Don't get it confused. It's not the song people hate. It's the video.
Love,Love,Love all Steve Perry and Journey❤❤❤❤❤❤
Nothing wrong with this song. But one of the cheesiest videos of all time!
💯 per cent! Lol
And I love Journey and this song, but the video is painful lol
There ain’t a cottonpicking thing wrong with this song or video! They could have cheese slices all over the screen and this would still be the fireest of fire! Love that you love Steve Perry/Journey as much as I do ❤️🎼❤
LOVE, love this song. Steve has the most beautiful voice and reaches those highs like no other. I personally think his best song is 'Oh Sherry '!
The thing I hate about this is that it's the Radio Edit. But it's one of their most killer tunes.
Check out, Stone in Love for their hardest Rock song.🔥🤘🏽🔥🤘🏽
There is a reason why they call him the voice just like Jerry West in the NB.A the trademark
LOVE this song and actually never saw the video til now! 😂
Steve Perry is known as " The Voice " !!!!!!!!!!!
At least they were outside for this video, so many for the time were just in a room full of bedsheet screens and neon.
Great song!!!! Looks like a bunch of high schoolers filmed this video. 😂😂😂😂

If his name isn't in the top 5 the list is not valid. #1 in my book. 🐐
Awesome song!! Great reaction bro!!

Early days of mtv and music videos wore out at least 3 8 track tapes on this song
The voice, the band the vibes of the 80s theres no comparison to todays music.
The no head stock and practically no body bass is real. It was made by a company called Steinberger.

Steve Perry at the TOP of the list !!!!
Patty-I pulled a top 50 list, which had Steve at 35, while Davud Lee Roth was listed at 9. How does that work?
Love this so much. I do not like the video, but I love the song. Love your reaction!
Great song, cornball video, lots of walking, very 80s. That said, this is ONE OF MY FAVE JOURNEY SONGS!
No idea how old are you... In my generation about 50yo nearly everybody knows Steve Perry as "the Voice". And I'm from f**king Austria in the middle of nowehre in Europe.
I looovvveee this song😊
Chris Cornell needs to be on the list of greatest vocalists!
❤❤❤❤

I like this video but this was a common video for the time
You're not wearing pants, are you? I knew it. WHY do they never wear pants??
KD is not under appreciated!
I’m sorry but American rock is so much cheesier than British rock
