Thanks for the info I really enjoyed your video. You gave me something to think about. But just a little side note about your side note, it went away too quickly. Because of the lack of contrast, it was difficult to read, and if it had stayed up another couple of seconds I would have been able to read it better.
Full frame is overrated - movie and tv show super 35.. please. full frame is content creator bull. and with the speed booster on c70, it gives you the full frame aspect. C80 is not a big upgrade. I am a 2 x c70 and r5c cinematographer.
That’s actually not true. Alexa 65 been around for 10 years I think now. IMAX is larger than ff. And there was also the RED monstro from almost about 7 or 8 years ago. The argument of television and film not using ff is dying and hasn’t been relevant for almost 4 years. Shoot with whatever you want.
It's a fact that tons of movies are made on S35 even today but most of us aren't shooting movies. when you can easily get S35 at the press of a Botton, it just make more sense to buy FF. with my C70 I find myself constantly needing a wider field of view. Unfortunately a speed-booster does me no good with RF lenses.
You are wrong. The R5C has an incredibly bad image because of low dynamic range. Why the hate my man? If you don't want to upgrade fine. But to dog the C80 without using it is weak. Stop watching Tubers that haven't used the C80 or don't show footage. Better AF, better low light, better dynamic range. You obviously are just a shooter cinematographer and don't care about having better image quality. The C80 has a deeper image and richer colors. Look it up if you don't believe.
Correction: C80 DOES HAVE TIMECODE; THE C400 HAS RAW LIGHT AS WELL 😭

You have a new sub. FYI you get raw st in super 35. The limitations is the write speed of Sd cards. That’s also why we don’t get 6k60

A major feature the C80 is missing that C70 had is 120fps with audio. C80 recording mode S&F Clip / Audio is capped at 60fps.
