If I had to choose one bait it would be a Mann's 6" black grape Jelly worm. I have been fishing this bait since they first came and don't leave home without it.

My best all time here in Northeast Connecticut is a 8 in. Zoom Magnum pumpkin chartreuse
Lizard Texas rigged. #4 EGW It’s my go-to when nothing is working. It has caught fish in every lake lake here as well as my PB.

Mine would be a stick worm. I can fish it on a shaky head, drop shot, as a Ned, neko, weight less, waky rig, flick shake, can fish it like a soft plastic jerk bait can put a blade in the tail and swim it. So a stick bait is mine. More specifically max scent general.

A jig is definitely a good option for sure but I personally don't have the patience or much confidence with a jig. If I had to go with only 1 lure, I would have to go with the owner flashy swimmer with a finesse swimbait. I have a finesse swimbait tied on 100% of the time, typically rigged with an exposed hook on a jighead and it almost always gets the job done. I don't use the flashy swimmer much but in this scenario I think it would be best because it's weedless and you can slide the blade arm off and back on easily depending on if you want the blade or not.

Love the tips! For me it would be a zoom trick worm in green pumpkin: Texas rig, Carolina rig, wacky rig, shaky head rig, split shot rig; my favorite is simply weightless. Caught so many largemouth, also works for pike and probably smallmouth if you trim it to be smaller and put it on a shaky head. Thanks again for the daily videos❤.

Tom Mann's elite series Baby one minus... Real it's super slow and it's a wake bait... Add a medium retrieve it is a 1 ft deep diving crankbait... And if you burn it really fast it gets a bit deeper... And used with a burn and pause can catch you the biggest fish of your life.

I couldn't agree more. I just started fishing a jig because I always thought of it as a southern strain Bass lure and the fish in Michigan were too small for it. Not anymore; the quality of fish I've caught has gone way up and has changed my perspective on fishing large baits everywhere.

For me it’s a slam dunk: an endless bag of 5” Yamamoto Senkos. I’ve caught 10-12 double digit bass on a senko. The versatility is amazing. Unweighted Texas rig, standard weighted Texas rig, wacky rig- weighted and unweighted, flipping them is huge in Florida. Now the hottest ticket is using it as a hover rig. There are lots of guys here starting to use them as a chatterbait trailer. That ones too far for me. LOL.
