@@Afrosoil11 hence I'm saying they should also consider hosting such events so that people can see the whole of Africa, not just South Africa, they must sponsor their events.
Let me correct you Stella, she is not a fortune teller, she is a spiritual guide. A fortune teller and a spiritual guide are different things. Spiritual guides are actually what their name says, they are about spiritual guidance. The one you saw at Indaba is a Sangoma, which means she also has healing powers. She can heal you physically through herbs and spiritually. And most are Christians, they are very popular in South Africa.
I am Ghanaian and to me, We always had our African traditional beliefs before the colonizers brought their religion which is "Christianity". its sad how we Africans look down on our traditional beliefs. I was happy to find out that "Sangomas" which we call native doctors is a recognized religious leader and that they take pride in the spirits of the ancestors
I love how South Africans still maintain a part of their culture but still developed as a country and their liberal thinking…it’s a great mix of western and African in modernised way. That fortune teller is clearly modern but still practises her culture
Why is everyone stressing the Christian part? I do understand how big Christianity is in West Africa. But i really don't see why it is important to always remind us that the said person is Christian. You will be surprised if you asked them.
I am south African staying in Durban, I am happy to see how you respect Jesus Christ this way , you didn't let your Christianity be shaken by the opposite site. God bless you I am a born again Christian as well
Stella I’m not surprised you are chosen. You are wonderful. I see you had favor with the lord. Keeping you in our prayers. Go Stella, Go Stella, You got it , You got it. Boss lady
The English language can be confusing at times. Each time I read of youtubers MOVING to a new place, I think of them actually settling down for a few months but only to find out they are just visiting for a few weeks.
That last insert featuring the Sangoma... I'm glad your colleague got to see that it's actually no joke. African Spirituality is quite a serious and sacred affair for a lot of us SA'ns.
I think I might as much as I have never done. I do believe people have strong spiritual gift to interpret the future. Sometimes we want confirmation to our intuition as much as we do not have full control to our outcomes.
She is a traditional healer not a fortune teller: past, present, and future things may pop up and they are not limited to your own existence but that of your family.
Lovely lovely, very intresting point of a video. The future teller lady. I would be scared to sit n let her reveal my future. In such I think it is only God know our future. What power does she possess to tell ones future. That's on another level.
Hi Stella, so glad for the energy in South Africa . Thanks for showcasing Durban. I personally don't believe future telling etc like you. Hope to see more content from Durban.

In South Africa , sangoma's ,and traditional healers are part of life , either u getting married , buying a new car , house or even in death , different rituals are peformed - even after years of love ones death , rituals are still perfomed- before everything we are Africans
My people were are the an amazing people. I respect all races but my African Heritage is where I am in my full Soul no doubt 💯 🙏🏿. And Stella yes you are so beautiful and the pants suit is stunning on you ❤️ ♥️ 💕
Hello Stella i love your energy and your vibes, did you really mean it when you said "i sincerely don't believe in the ancestors?".You can believe in the ancestors and not necessarily practice fortune telling
I've once commented on your vlog about prices of accommodation in ghana as a South African. If you do get a chance do a comparison on prices maybe just what $100 can get you here as compared to Ghana. Whether it b airbnb or hotel stay, you will see my sister it's day an night. Much more value here for your buck. Enjoy 😉 your stay
Yes Ghana and Nigeria need to do better in term of prices for accomodation to promote tourism within Africa. The accomodation prices are discouraging. I think we also used to have the same problem back in the late 80 and 90s. Prices need to be regulated to accomodate both local and international tourists.
Fortune teller 😂😂 it's a Sangoma guys. She's a beautiful one too. It always baffles me how people are scared of a Sangoma but not scared of a prophet in church, culturally a sangoma would burn Imphepho at church they'd burn incense in a thurible, all believe there is man in the sky looking out for all of us, angels intercede, others ancestors intercede. To me I see more similarities in these beliefs than differences, it's just one got better marketing, looks more cool than the other. Anyway just binging. Hope all are well.
@@Stella-Shanelly We currently in Winter. We have already experienced our first snow, it's gonna get even colder even we approach July. There are ski resorts in both south Africa and Lesotho, you should experience it some time
The lady is a traditional healer and also can do reading of your past and future, this is a practice that has existed in Africa from the beginning of time, it is very respected in South Africa even Christian and Muslim Africans would still use traditional healers because it is part of their culture.
Stella you have done well but let sassy funke know if she doesn't believe in those things she shouldn't draws near at the first place.Yea the bible condemn it at Deuteronomy 18:9-13 Stella you can read it and show to them OK? Add Vivian okeze
