🤣 Keep your international tourists it is fine. Durban is the most popular city for tourism in South Africa by South Africans. Cape is the most popular tourist city for international visitors particularly from EU and US. If you don't know that you are not from South Africa.

Believe me Durban is not cold you are just not use to the weather. Wait till u get to Jozi ( Joburg) u will see flames 🥶 , enjoy 😉
It was cold for swimming that's why the pool side was empty...
@@reantai7101 There could b a few reasons for that (pool been empty). It could have mid week when this video was taken. It's not peak season when hotels are full. Durban just came out of a natural disaster. Durban is hot an humid all year round it's ever hardly cold. Stella is use to more warmer climate then here. That's the point I'm try to make 👍
@@mondeklaas1486 not really, stayed there during June in 2018 from UK and the nights were cold but not too cold. Days had sun but there was still a bit of cold in the air…not cold like Johannesburg but I’d does get a bit cooler in May-July
@@mimitamimi546 cold days are rare thou in DBN but I hear you. That’s why we call it the play ground of SA because of its warm temperatures throughout the year 👍

I've always stayed either at family house in Umhlanga or Marine Parade Hotel. Something about waking up with the. Sound of the ocean from the balcony.

I hope TourismSA is watching and noting down who’s posting videos about SA and what we have on offer. Stella deserves a full time job as TourismSA or Brand SA Ambassador. I met such people even in New York, fully employed by TourismSA or BrandSA to promote and entourage Americans to bring their dollars to sunny Mzansi.
Durban was my city from 2012 to 2014 and I was a regular at Joe Cools. Happy you enjoyed it.
I had a good friend who was Waitering at Joe Cools who was from Congo DRC, Kevin. We spoke a lot.

Southern sun hotel is not the biggest hotel in South Africa my sister is one of the biggest in Durban One even here in Durban there are bigger ones than it. Beautiful video though.

Nah food is cheap,It depends. You can still enjoy Durban with little money. Instead of hotels use Backpackers and buy food like locals
She did say it's $100 per night
