Hi Boni, I love your content and appreciate the effort you put into sharing salary insights for different careers. However, I've noticed that you tend to focus more on IT professionals. I think it would be great if you could also explore other high-paying careers like Mining Engineers, Chief Safety Officers, Safety Managers, SHEQ managers, Risk managers, and Operations Managers. These professionals often earn competitive salaries, sometimes even surpassing those in the IT sector. So we kindly request you to ask these professionals to send their payslips. Would love to see more diversity in your content! THANK YOU!
@SiyakhaPlaatjie Check out the report from Offerzen, called State of software developers in South Africa 2024, it goes deeper into the specifics. But overall, it's mostly backend developers in java, mobile devs in flutter that tend to earn more, this depends on experience though. I only pointed out these 2 mainly because they're almost always up there but there are others

I'm curious.. Why are you laughing sister Boni at the begging of the video. The amount of money paid is directly proportional to the work to be done. Plus the responsibility you will account for - for keeping peoples monies and personal data safe. That's a lot of work.
Why you asking recruiters to help? You interviewed a recruiter. They going to ask for his salary slip and then tell him, oh you can only get 10% or 20% increase, coz its "UNFAIR" for the company to increase your salary more than that. Irrespective if you already been exploited and massively been underpaid.
Hi Boni, Normally, the Data Administrator role does not get paid much , they should consider Data Engineering or with BCom Information System ,they should do IT Operations or try to get into SAP roles. They will thank this comment later
Because you need IT background to break into that if I'm being 100s with you. I also don't have enough testimonials to recommend a path for you. Remember, we've only had Ray, and now we will have another guy, but naye, they have IT background, so I've concluded on my own that you need IT background.

@@andy2.026 A degree is usually better, but I've also heard of companies taking people with diplomas. Remember that you will learn a lot on the job as well. Jozi and Cape Town or working remotely for US companies. There is nothing like this in KZN or Bloemfotein.
