Well Done! I can't wait to see this in person. I like the Mid Canada Mini Group plaques. For those stuck in the middle province come check out the All British Car Show at the Forks on July 17th 2022.
Very nice build. I'd be interested in some more detail regarding connecting the new engine harness into the existing wiring. Also, what did you use to source the 180 bend on the intake? I'm preparing to do this exact build on my 95 SPI. I assume the alternator is still in the fender, any clearance issues with the air filter?
I think you guys should have a look at the Nissan cg13de conversions, I absolutely love mine and it fits the light touch modern upgrade to the A series theme really well, it's even a 1275cc! I was able to keep my inner wings and use the standard radiator position (no it doesn't overheat). Weight is the same on mine but I probably overbuilt my subframe so it could definitely come out lighter.
First great video. What’s your Pros and cons, of a Mini 1380 High Performance Engine with 5 speed vs D16 Y8 VTEC engine, high performance reliable street/track use? I love the stock look of the 1965 Mini Cooper S. This one look tall? Thanks
Do you change the final drive to run the smaller wheels? If so, where do you get them from? I've been trying to get a 3.7 or 3.2 FD forever, with no luck!
It's got new cones, they drop quite a bit in the first month or two. I had to keep winding mine up to stop it bottoming out until the new suspension settled, I wanted mine low, but you have to be patient to get final setting
Woah! this is exactly what I am after! Nicely done
perfectly executed. would love to have an original mini and in time build it into something similar to this.
Always boosts the spirits when you all put up more "Mini"

Nicely done 🔥
I always enjoy watching your content and cars!
Excellent build.. nice to see the simple approach..💯
Definitely going to D swap my mini when I get a chance, hopefully will be able to find a supercharger for the D series too! That'd be a fun little car
Awesome little beast
I love this build!!!
Another nice one rolls out. Well done mates
A D16 is such a better choice than a B series engine.

Wow, I know that Mini! (And my local Canadian Tire).
love what you do man such awesome projects
Very cool build. How hard is it to find a good left hand drive chassis for a project like this?
Can I see pict from door panels? Like the style
Luv a mini. Second favorite car after Porsche 911.

I love the attention to detail ypu guys apply to your projects. Would a b16 swap be possible keeping everything looking as stock as this?
Wow...so nice. Does anyone know how much this roughly costs?
Another great video. This is such an enticing idea, what is the average cost of an engine swap.
Love your workmanship but when we gonna see some more classic minis wheres the oily rag stuff
Did the D16 come as an auto, and do you think the auto would fit? Perhaps maybe in a Clubman?
Do you have a source for the engine build or was that in house? Great build!!
Do you have any problems driving in wet conditions with the air filter being in the arch just above the wheel?
Any plans to try a Ford eco boost engine 🤔

Curious, what would such conversion cost?
I’m looking to buy a mini I see they convert them over to Honda engines. Is it that the mini one is not reliable
Salut my friend super car super video subscribe subscribe .. .
Where are you located?
How much for a conversion like this ?
First one! Nice Vid!
How many HP?
nice one , shame it's so high on it's suspension , should be a lot lower
Or maybe it should be just that height because the person who owns it wants it that way?
It's got new cones, they drop quite a bit in the first month or two. I had to keep winding mine up to stop it bottoming out until the new suspension settled, I wanted mine low, but you have to be patient to get final setting
It's begging you to LOWER!
