Crazy to think that this sort of behavior doesn’t go away in high elo. Like the players should have all the game knowledge and understanding to see the game isn’t lost but they’re throwing anyway
They do have all of that they just don't care. It's different in low elo some people want to play and get better but a vast majority of people in low elo refuse to learn and don't want to learn so they make a lot of mistakes and don't know how to get back into the game.
Part of it is you don't need a perfect picture to get Challenger. Some times you just need to push buttons well and be in okay spots strategically. But the rank gives them a false confidence which leads to horrid uninformed conclusions that they then go and spread around. It's sorta like a Dunning-Kruger effect but worse cause they're conflating their skill in one aspect with Mastery in every aspect and acting as an expert. They're good at climbing and playing a specific strategy but that doesn't equate to complete understanding of the game or the game state. This game specifically they were 3k or less down for most of the early game which is huge for such a behind mid but they likely have no idea and feel like it's 10k down.
Because it isnt about winning. It's about vengeance against the people who wronged them in previous games. Youre just a character with a tag, they can easily unload their feelings on anyone and have it feel like it's the original person.
@@yuukifenia1611 yea, the way to climbing ladder is so much different from playing real game. In many circumstances climbing requires luck rather than your own skills and knowledge.

the worst thing is they'd queue up again, still tilted from the previous game they'll over react when the enemy team gets the first blood. wish they can just real time ban this player and replace them with bots. at least bots won't bring down 4 player's morale just because they had a bad time last game.

@@LeCaptRage riot needs a better moral system, if you tilt and rage all the time, you should be put in game with those same people, if you're calm and collected, you should be playing with people like that. The match making is always just one sided, either winners or losers q for 5 games straight.

Yes those players are an issue, but if you were good enough you would still climb and they wouldn't matter. I'm emerald 3 at 58 % winrate and I just keep climbing because I usually solo carry most of my wins. I get the inter most of games and yet I still manage to win almost 6 out of 10 of my games

This game actually made me wonder one to many times "Is this actually challenger?" seems to be a yes on the enemy team alone.
I played in every elo up to GM. Believe me or not but GM and plat is the EXACT same experience. Ik it sounds crazy but there is literally no difference in game between GM games and plat games. I strongly think the difference between those players are the number of games, the duo abusers and the lucky mmr but the skill difference is almost non existent.
@@biglittleboy9827completely agree. The difference to me is in mechanics and the abuse of the meta. Plat/emerald/diamond players will pick random champs that makes no sense and in masters and gm you see more meta champions. Im currently diamond and tf is banned 1/5 of the games btw, ppl just dont care about the meta

Not to mention most challenger players unironically play league as a job, so they afk brain just like anyone else who's been grinding a 9-5 job all week. Something goes wrong and it's straight up go next cause they're likely going to play for 5 more hours and this L is their therapy session now.
@@biglittleboy9827 Thx for confirming this, I really hate when ppl in "higher elo" always say like ppl from "lower elo" (emerald and below) are just bad lol. Literally been watching so many of these games aswell where master players run it much harder than my laners in emerald EVER would. They literally just grinded more or got lucky winstreaks. Ppl that say only low elo ppl can be hardstuck are super wrong too, look at all the challengers that are hardstuck in emerald if they dont get a lucky winstreak to fly thru it. Suddenly ull end up +18 -22 lp and it is MISRABLE....
Stuff like this is what burns people out of League. I'm a lowly Gold 4, but even I know how a team that's leading loses a game. Look for fights in enemy jungle or aram instead of playing for objectives and closing the game, in turn giving away shutdowns and obj to the enemy. Instant loss. People tilting, trolling or straight up DCing on an absolutely winnable game is fucking crushing
My guess is that there are a lot of older players who still think they automatically won for being a little fed like it was before. They don't understand that the game changed and it is more team effort dependent now.
Those are the guys that won't make the slightest effort to cooperate and will flame you for "not been good enough to carry"
No lie, sometimes I get the itch to play League, then I queue up to play a game and it has a guy griefing over a miniscule mistake. I requeued for another 3 games and 3 out of 4 of them had a player babyraging at a small mistake. I'm too old to deal with the BS, 15+ minutes wasted because someone who can't control their emotions wants to ruin the game for 4 other people

@@EgoCarry1 yep exactly you took my 4 cs so he goes AFK and quits ... how do you take somone CS in a team game? its either you get stronger or I get stronger its not wasted... they seem to think its all about them but no good player can win a 1 vs 4 team fight by mid game so its pointless. happens every time on the NA server .... western players make the worse allies thats why korea and China always win this, they dont fight each other and get on with it , they dont give up too... US players sook over everything. a king steal? what is that im supposed to sit there and watch you at 5 percent health dive in on 2 and do nothing with a 10 percent change you wont feed other team ?
For me it was the fact that from 20 games, 10 were losses, 10 were wins, but 18 were steamrolls.
Sit on one side, watch helplessly as you get stomped and then sit on the other watch the enemy crumble and you might as well be AFK and still win.
It was boring.
On top of that back then I felt like damage was king and no matter what you did you died really fast (and your opponents too), so all in all boring again.
It was a few years ago however, pretty much quit for good. I'm here only because I've listened to some OST (Volibear theme while playing effectively Volibear in Last Epoch) and the algorythm shoveled LoL content my way.
People who act like this in ranked should be banned from ranked perma, such low mental babies like my god

Then they run and buy a new account for 5 bucks and resume their tirade. What we need is a more effective system, but I do believe it's far easier said than done seeing how large of a playerbase the game has. All in all a hard situation to handle, but clearly something has to be done.
@@WolfMimirMori Its easy, you can issue hardware bans (and yes, even that kind where spoofing doesnt work), but riot is unwilling. Also when you look at their history unbanning perma banned streamers (thebauffs for example).

you are a missing a pivotal topic: Riot not only neglet this behavior, they are conniving. besides the legal problems of IP ban, this f@cking spoiled kids are they money makers. More accounts means more skins, emotes, ... in every account they need to buy. They absolutely have ways to improve and punish, but it's not worth it.
Just had a 10+ losing streak a few weeks ago and rushed down from P4 to S1 while games looking similar to this one. You get penalized with up to -38LP while a win gets you about +20.
Riot needs to fix their LP and match up system asap.

Riot has made it pretty clear through their lack of action on this problem, that it is none of their concern. Voyboy already died on this hill and riots response to his effort was incredibly half assed. Skin sales and lcs revenue is all they seem to be concerned with.

@@vincentvalentine139 this game haven't been competitive for 9 years. More and more broken unbalanced champion come out like Yone and K'sante and many more. Toxicity among the players is top notch. Almost like COD4 13 years ago. Any kind of toxic behaviour is hardly punished. And on top of that, it's hardly to change. Riot will not do anything about it. Ever. As long people are playing the game, paying the skins etc. They will continue like this.
They have the tools, they have the ideas, they have the knowledge, they have the resources. NOTHING. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Is preventing them from fixing the game. From disgusting overloaded champions to disgusting behaviour of the community in and around the game. But they don't do it.
If they did do something about it, they would first start punishing pro players that are toxic and go publicly calling other players trash. And than to the players and community. But they will not. Why? Because it doest effect their profits.

I'm actually glad to see a game like this happen to someone that's not me for once. It's so insane how consistently this happens to me and my friend when we duo queue. He will roam as support to help them and we get midlaners that actually danger ping him away when he has Bard ult and the enemy midlaner is pushed in. I genuinely don't understand why there are so many people out there that play this game and after 2 deaths don't want to win the game anymore. You'd think they would eventually stop caring and switch to a more relaxing game.
Duo Q has a system to put better players in the enemy team
when it says theyve muted themselves, it really means they muted you.
broxah slipped up though. shouldnt have commented on kayle r at all. is what it is, 90% of players are completely ready to tilt at the slightest criticism, and that 10% that doesn't is you. never have chat on ever. don't ping don't talk don't look at them don't smile don't do anything.

What it REALLY means is that they reported you ingame which auto mutes. That's why you often see that they "unmuted" themselves after because they still want to shittalk you after they reported you.

Knowing how to communicate / not tilt in video games is really an underrated skill. Even though it's "just a video game", it really is an extension of your overall character. There are many grown adults on this planet with the emotional stability of toddlers, we just usually don't experience it first hand since they repress themselves in public due to cowardice. So they let all of that immature childish rage out when they're safe behind a monitor.
Staying calm while gaming is a good personality exercise.

Why I never give up in ranked is because in my head no matter how ahead a team is they will eventually make a mistake bc I’m not chall so people don’t play perfectly as long as my team can capitalize on one throw it’s always winnable

I have no idea what’s caused players in ranked to have such shit mental that they give up the moment any sense of struggle happens. It’s like if the game isn’t a stomp for them from the get go they immediately give up instead of learning how to play from behind to then mount a comeback. Players like that have legit made playing ranked so terrible lately when I know a few years ago it wasn’t like this at all.
Twofold imo. Life in general has gotten tougher since covid theres multiple wars going on and expenses in western countries have gone through the roof. More stress and less mental fortitude in a game by the average player (unless they're teens in high school). Second, the game balance itself in the past few years has gotten so bad that its much more tilting to even play it out than it used to be. Games snowball so hard a lot of people give up sooner because its just too frustrating, especially if they're playing a top tier champion and you're not. The balance is so bad its basically like you're fighting 2 champions with 1 when they get a 1 kill and 1 level lead and the jungle can't even help if its a laner or they easily 1v2 you. I don't personally give up and spam ff but I do acknowledge the frustration trying to play this busted crap version of league is significantly higher than the older seasons (season 2-10 or so) and its harder not to tilt. If the game was designed better and more fairly, I don't think you'd see this weak mental nearly as much.

Had games like this 3 games in a row last night. One of them my adc Varus sold all items and pushed mid until he died on respawn. Very helpful. Too bad rito will never get rid of or even punish these players....
This is pretty much what I feel like playing my main account. It's 2-8 at the moment but those 2 wins are just because I was still trying and should have been easily 0-10 if I was another random. Enemy team gets 5 decent players, not bad nor exceptional but 2 of my boosted teammates bring the entire game down

The problem is the ff system. If the game isn't an RTS, don't implement such an easy way to give up. It created a culture where people do poorly in the first few minutes and can't just leave the game, so it's either the team ffs or they tilt. I think every other uniquely league of legends toxic thing stems from this. I don't think it can be solved at this point.

This was definitely a winnable game if your mid had hands, but you gotta give props to that lee. Didn't see him miss almost and Qs and always at the right place at the right time.
I've taken a long break from this game because it too exhausting dealing with players whom you need to constantly give counselling and babysit them on the weekend, then to have the devs do a 360 on previous changes because they can't balance the game properly and go back to the way it was a few months ago, then to realise that the changes they made to champions in that time have created more broken combinations that take weeks to fix. Then when they start to get things going again they announce some shit like "giga overhaul to game systems" where they add 5 new UI add a new objective that one shots the whole enemy team, ff vote where 2 votes decides the game, add 25 more items, change old items for no reason, remove some others add in a new champion to throw off the balance just that little extra, getting every single teammate i play with tilted as soon as they start because they hate what RIOT is doing to the game. I love having to go into my games staring at patch notes WR and other shit just to have fun for 10 minutes before an ff vote is thrown up by either side.

That's why I refuse to surrender sometimes, even when the game is unwinnable. I'll have games where a teammate is playing absolutely terrible: not knowing the matchup, prioritizing wanting kills over gold when behind, no map awareness etc, and they will insist on surrender. As much as I'd like to, you just know they will immediately go into another game having learned nothing and, unless given an opponent worse than them, will proceed to ruin that game also.
That's nice mindset, I refuse to surrender 95% of my games aswell, even if me is the one that sucked the most I stay and try till its officially over or 4 guys are not willing and ff themselfs. fun fact many games that I considered It a sure loose turns out to be victorious later on.

occassionally too this high ego mentality wins you games as well... ive come back form 30 down a few times as a team to win... you only need to get lucky and win 2 major team fights get all the bounties then get baron and you can come back in 6 min.... you are punished very badly mid game in leage for a loss in team fight and after a big lead every NA team usually gets arragant and tries to 1 vs 4 other team... its not fun being on this team also where 2 players are trying and are 14/3 and other 3 players are 0/11

Maybe they should put a temporary hold on ranked games for players with absolutely terrible kda's for an individual game. Like if they have a super bad game put them on a few hours queue block. Even if it's not them trolling they just legitimately got stomped they are going to be on mega tilt. It would help prevent insta tilt queueing. Doesn't have to be a perma ban because everybody has bad days. But something to just prevent and discourage the behavior.
I actually agree with you. If you troll games, there should be huge consequences. It's hard to prove definitively, but if you do, they need to start slapping these people with 2-3 month long bans and get them out of soloqueue. The afking and trolling you see climbing out of low elo because a support accidently took a minion or something is absolutely wild. That stuff should be permabannable.
yah, there is a guy in the group I play with most every day and we win like 80% of the games we play with out him because he always quits in the first 15 minutes.

At 11 min he mentioned lee build ( eclipse rush) is trolling, why though? eclipse is kinda cheap, gives cd-dmg and shield is pretty usefull early on for skirmishes. I tried many builds on lee and other champs that can use both sundered and ecplise and thing is ecplise 1st proc on initiating seems more usefull than the heal from sundered since in jungle u are almost always full hp and the 1st proc of sundered heal-wise will be after 6seconds in which case u would have proc ecplipse twice.
I think Riot needs to invest and make a huge ban wave like they did in other games with practically 0 tolerance to inters,afk,flamers etc
There is no witty solution people need to face consequences even if they only did it once and people who create new accounts doing the same thing over and over need to be ip banned
If it’s necessary to change terms of service to implement these changes then so be it - its their company after all

One thing fuels the other my friend. riot not fixing broken champions, Making one meta stronger than another, making adc's totally unreliable beeing weak early / mid / late game if they dont have like at least two big hp tanks with lots of cc they can't do shit. One diver gets to them for 1 second - they are dead.
There is no such a thing as soft inting. either someone deliberately goes 1 vs 2 or something like that just stands there and does nothing no damage not using a single ability and only this u can call inting. other than this its just a poor decision making, poor game knowledge.
Sometimes lvl 2 or 3 gank an early flash or something will ruin your game from the get go cause u are forced to burn your free get out of jail card and u know that enemy team has 5 minutes free time to make your life a living hell u can no longer make a trade with that time frame constantly beeing in fear of getting ganked.
This and also toxicity of your own team calling you dog shit useless piece of crap let alone enemy team beeing cocky as hell when they are smurfing in low elo cause the que times in high elo got to an extreme levels.
Playing as a noob not knowing entire champion pool, champion cd's abilities etc when playing vs a smurf will result in what? In total stomp. not to mention the ever lasting problem of people often playing vs a t eam of stacked people that are on discord. seemingly non-premade party when u post a discord link and if your team follows if anyone has got basic understanding of english it turns the game 360 degrees an can snowball it pretty damn fast into enemies favor.
What can you do to counter this? in my honest opinion the chat should be only possible in the lobby and post match lobby in game this should no longer be an option other than the possibility of pings. chat is a waste of time. If you type u waste time simple as that. if you read u waste the time either cause your focus isn't 100% time on the screen and u might miss an impoprtant ability to track down like flash, ult or something else from either your team mate or enemy team member.
You might get distracted by tons of other things but typing and reading the chat has made probably even top level players take a death or two while they could have easily survived it or make a proper time int the meanwhile.
I have lost the count of permanent bans that i've gotten on my accounts yet i still do play the game and trust me it matters not if i have chat enabled or not i do get chat restrictions just by playing poorly. Isn't that disgusting that the chat filtering is actually poorly designed and what matters is just a certain count value of reports and deaths so the automatic ban system gets you restricted or banned in the process. And it matters not if you died on purpose trying to just die or died while trying to achieve something via team fight or taking a tower as split pusher.
People do get flamed when they try to get better at the game and even despite telling this in chat they still get flamed if they perform poorly yet again instead of helping them its easy to press a button call that person inting piece of shit que up again while beeing tilted and do the same thing to some normal random guy who just plays the game for fun while trying to get better.
Community's toxicity is pushing people away from the game from trying to improve and those who dont give up ends up leaving the game at some point cause the pressure at some point becomes unbearable, the toxicity becomes unbearable and seemingly kindred human beeings play the game no more and u are left with only toxic trash cans that can only make agressive pings and call u names.
Is this fun? As i said its ez as hell to yell to report to just instantly move on. Nobody not a single person smurf or experience player did such a thing when i played a shit game to add me as a friend to explain point to point what should i do in a given situation nobody got me to a practice tool to a custom game to try avoiding certain combos knowing what will happen if you get hit by it.
Game was different in season 5-6 back when u leveled up you got full hp / mana back and this alone saved your arse so many times over it was broken so it had to be nerfed and even then the people were not such shamefull waste of sperm that they could be kind they were much more nice than they are now.
It is probably because people made riot's wallets full and buffed as hell via skins or some revenue from television broadcast lights from sponsorship either that they dont care no more. As i tell everyone nobody will ever fix their product as long as its filling up their wallet. If people would support the cause of not buying skings for 1 year (which is unlikely to happen) this might have the small indie company think a thing or two through to fix it.
If they will see peoples interest turnign away to other competitive titles they will see sponsors and tv rights revenue go away only then they will attempt to fix the game but at that point it might and probably will be way too late to save the game. Company's t otal ignorance over the community needs will make this game go awa competittive lvl faster than hots, faster than paragon, faster than valorant.
How many tittles were seeemingly good and then they were forgotten due to company's negligence? look at World of Warcraft. The retail game went to such a garbage state that they were forced to release legacy run to know where they fucked up cause they can't figure things out otherwise.
There is many examples but as i say - riot do not give a fuck until their wallet is full.
I'm new to ranked and I had an account since beta so I made a new account to do ranked. Holy cow, it is super painful dealing with super low elo. It became clear that you have to carry games. People give up in champion select in silver. I think my mistake is picking a C tier champion. It seems you have to pick either an S or one of the newest champions.
Who is this C tier champion that can't carry............. Yummi? heh for the most part all dps picks can carry a game
@Rerpesentz I agree. If I play jg I have a better chance at being a bigger impact on the game. The bigger issue is likely sticking to a plan rather than constantly trying to react to everything. I'm not making excuses. But I have noticed I get better players when I que normals. I'm aware people are unreliable in all elos.

Ive had mid and jungle go zero kills with 7 and 6 deaths in less than 15 mins luckily they got some kills and ended the game with only a couple more deaths which we won. But also I've had and adc die to a tower dive and then the vayne decided to stop playing. She said she was 2 and 0 in lane like that means she's unstoppable and would of carried the game of that one death didn't happen
dude, im not as good as you but my games have been the same exact way. ive got to gold 2 almost 4 times and just given absolute grief teams since.

mid laners that lane like that and tilt really piss me off. be evasive get what farm you can and exp under tower and scale, you still get xp no matter what unless you spend most of that time dead. I play Kayle a lot if you want to know what its like to be a patient laner play kayle because you don't get significant power until after level 11 and it can be really hard to get cs with how weak she is early. in the end game you can duel and snipe the whole enemy team. When she gets her lvl 16 passive upgrade nobody is safe. Don't throw the game. above all stick to rational playing and you will win. the master yi tower diving at level 2 is not good and half of you try to do that shit. most of these players are trash comparable to a few seasons ago.
League of legends the game where everyone wants to call the shoots everyone wants to be the alpha male. But without someone to follow orders nothing goes well since everyone want to do something different then the other person. The eternal battke of egos where no one wants to listen. Is like playing a game inter-dimensional where only the echoes if one words can reach the other. I when j played never cared about outplays or sick carry. If someone can carry me , just give me orders and ill do what you say. I dont care about leading the team but winning. That's all i ever cared about when i played league. But i gave up on that too with all the toxicity and the phases where they constantly dodge, troll you just so you wont win, call you a try hard when u try your best etc. it wasn't worth my time and it isn't. Not unless people start to listen or they create 2 special roles. Example jungle and mid. Those 2 roles lead and the other follow. Until they dont create a meta based on that. The chess king and queen mentality where the others follow this model. Then nothing will work and even then. Just because is a meta doesn't anyone's gonna follow it. In my honest opinion people who want to play coop games online. Any games that involve a team not only league. Those players should have a license or a permit to do that. Just like driving cars. If you do something toxic online you would be sanctioned or something or worse . You wouldn't be able to play with other people at all. But that's just a dream and i can dream can i? Thats why prefer single players games. Like the one I play right now from gothic franchise. Gothic 2. Theres no other players no other agents of chaos to disturb your playthroug or your happy fun timem cuz after all thats why games are game. Is to make you have time. But sadly even those so called games became profesions for others and the fun is fully squeezed out of them.

I swear, i'm currently high diamond/low master and EVERY single games have this exact same scenario were one guy just die on cd and is completely useless. It's EVERY SINGLE games. It really feels like a coinflip were you hope that guy is in the enemy team. There is a real problem about that this season for some reason.
It’s the exact same in emerald and low dia as well right now, this season has been the worst for it for sure. As you said, almost every game there is a griefer, just need to pray it’s not on your team.
It’s in every elo like this. It’s almost you get paired with people who did it on purpose. Had a game that we lost by a sliver but the main reason was that our yasou was 1/23 I have never seen anything like it before
