Yep. This is easily one of my favorite scenes in the series.
This is the power of Game of Thrones at it's absolute finest. One of the best moments in the series is a "reunion" between two characters who never shared a single scene together previously, let alone exchanged a single line of dialogue. The depth of what the Stark family means to the viewers is incredible.

After 6 Seasons and 3 episodes of Murder, Incest, Backstabbing and Rape, The First 20 minutes of the episode with Sansa and Jon Snow was Priceless and Perfect and a breath of Fresh Air.
P.S. That Scene with Daenerys at the end was a GOT Version of a Mic Drop (Boom)

Because they weren't forced. Jon and Dany was something I never believed in, at all.
After all the shot she has been throw back at King's landing and at her aunt's house and back home with ramsay......thanks to theon she has finally arrived to the place where she can finally feel safe and finally with the jon snow........that brought me to tears of happiness 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Kinda funny how all of Starks tried to reach Jon after things started collapsing after Ned execution and then after Robb's death. First Arya left KL and at first she was headed to the Wall, then Bran and Rickon were leaded there (but obviously didn't make it) and Sansa after Ramsay headed to Jon too. Like he's the one last piece of their family they all could lean on (especially after loosing every other older member of Stark family but for Arya he was the first choice she tried to reach, she didn't head to Winterfell (ofc Jon would've send her there but still)).
I needed this after "Hold the door" :(
I think this moment and "hold the door" are so dramatic and tear jerking in great part because of the music...

This scene blew me away with the emotional sincerity and impact of the reunion, and I'm so happy to see its universal appeal. I'm especially happy when I see the guys cry in this vid LOL. One of my Top 5 favorite GoT scenes.

Now that they have Arya in one pictures is wearing Stark's clothing and her and Bran were in same makeup trailer. Not mentioned it's been leaked that Arya will kill Little finger so means her and Jon will reunite. The question is who will tell Jon his true lineage.

There's a power in Jon snow that we all feel safest around him. They came in the right time, like I really felt bad when bran was so close to him, and I felt he was finally safe. But then they got separated.
Sansa met so many monsters, and suffered so much, and now she just met an angel, someone who will never be compared to those monsters! It's like you suffered in the Hell on Earth and go to the Heaven XD (those monsters are dead, by the way!)

I have a friend who questions the sanity of the Game of Thrones fandom. "Why would they watch episode after episode only to have beloved characters die every season?" she asks me. "There's so much death and sadness in this show; why would someone get so emotionally invested in it?" It's for the moments like these. The relief, the triumph, the fact that family bonds can never be broken. Even in this sad world that the characters live in, there's still room for hope.
P.S. But now it's almost certain that one of them-most likely Sansa-will get killed.

Watching these reactions again (yes Ive seen all these before many times) it never ceases to amaze me how much love people had for this show, it had such an impact on our culture. And because of this adoration and dedication to this series by so many it makes what happened in season 8 such a gut wrenching heart breaking monumental travesty. How they managed to screw up this show will always haunt me and be a dark spot in an otherwise beautiful relationship. To put it in perspective, I'm as big a fan of GOT as anyone out there. Being a huge fan of the books, I was there at the very beginning of the series, and was more than pleased at the quality of the show. And all that being said, I was so disappointed and shell shocked with season 8 that I have yet to watch the season finally. Before season 8 started, that is a sentence that I would of never in a million years thought I would be saying. The thought of not watching the season finally because I was so angry with the show is still alien to me. And it's a wound that continues to fester to this day. Hell it took me just in the last few weeks that I could even watch the earlier season clips or reactions like this video. I'll never forgive D & D for what they've done.

You know what would have made the scene more heart-warming? If Sansa and Jon had ever been in the same scene interacting with each other at all before this scene.
JoeHooker11 True. The closest person to Jon was always Arya. But Sansa and Jon think that they are the last survivors of the Starks so seeing each other after so long must have been emotional for both.
I'm awaiting the day Jon sees Arya again. Hopefully Ghost and Nymeria will reunite as well.
No Sansa knows that at this point Bran and Rickon are alive and Arya.

I watched all of game of thrones in like 1-2 weeks so when I saw this I was like yeah it’s wholesome but didn’t have the reaction of these people Cas it had been only a couple of days but then I realised crap for these people it’s been six whole years since they were together
I was happy all the starks reunited,each to a different road to get there BUT,they got there.
At the start of the series, Sansa never cared much about Jon; only her dreams of being noble.
Now that she's seen how evil the world is, she needs her family now more than ever

What makes this even better is that Jon and Sansa weren't close like Jon and Arya, and there was also the letter that Sansa wrote that many thought she was a traitor.

YES. Like...the Starks always just seem to miss one another, like Bran not being able to go to Jon when he saw him beyond the Wall.

Oh man. Sansa must have been unsafe even in her own home until she finally discovered Jon Snow. Sansa's looks gave it away. I still feel sorry for the whole Stark family. Finally she made it home.

GoT is the only show that allowed me to let my feelings out, to shed tears, to experience real compassion towards fictional characters. Great show...
