Even watching this now, knowing that he was brought back to life, i still tear up. Its just such a tragic, brutal and undeserved death to such a pure hearted guy

Nah the death was well deserved. Jon betrayed his oath and vows of his position for over 8000+ years and he was met with a just ending for his crimes. Unfortunately in the show, they left out some of the even worse stuff Jon did like betraying the night's watch code to not interfere in the politics of the realm, when he decides to take the night's watch down to attack the Boltons to save Arya to try to play up his "pure hearted guy" angle. Its also likely that Shireen's sacrifice in the books will be done to bring Jon back to life and showrunners didn't want him to carry the burden of the death of an innocent girl to again make him seem "pure hearted" and instead decided to destroy stannis' character and attribute that death to him.
Ay Yo he didn't do that shait in the series it's an alternate story maite (so yeh not deserved in the series)

When I saw the "TRAITOR" sign, I was done. I was pissed off, left the room and proceeded to cuss the show out, thinking I'd never watch it again. All the while I could hear the stabbing going on, which in turn made me cuss harder lol. Had it not been for the revival theories, that probably would've been it for me.

I remember when I first saw this. I was with a buddy who knows nothing about G.O.T. and was devastated and freaking out. When the credits started rolling at the end, I looked at my friend and he said , "Wow, must have been a nice watch huh?". I was so pissed but couldn't help but laugh at how clueless he was to whole situation.
I like how the cameras are organized in such a way that it looks like everyone is looking at the center of the screen

I'm laughing my head off now at the extra af reactions, two years on and secure in the knowledge that Jon is alive and King in the North (for now), but seeing this at the time was so crazy to experience live and on social media. The whole season had telegraphed his death, but it was still shocking and brutal actually to see it unfolding. The betrayal by Olly really twisted the knife.
