I used to work at Walmart and I started playing these games for my now wife after I feeled her closet and then mine I started playing for people that couldn't win and before I left people would give me dollars to get them toys out of it. A little old lady almost cried and gave me a hug for winning an owl for her. I'll never forget that

*I was meeting my boss at Dave and Busters to give him his work badge (he forgot it at work so I picked it up for him). I asked an employee at Dave and Busters to put his work badge in the claw machine and he laughed and did it. When my boss walked up I handed him a Dave and Busters card and I said have fun and pointed at his badge inside the claw machine. He sat there for about 15 minutes trying to fish his work badge out all while is wife was sitting in the car waiting and trying to figure out why her husband was taking so long. He was not able to fish it out and in the end the employee had to open the machine. Everyone had a good laugh*

I remember going to golden corral and there was a claw machine at the entrance. There was someone playing it. I'm pretty sure he was playing for a while. When he finally won the toy got stuck and so many people where the trying to get it unstuck.

Just remember, places like Casino may rig their slot machines, but they have to give out a certain amount of money per month, otherwise they would charged with Racketeering.
It maybe rigged, but most people won their price, it’s just lucky grip that you need to win and it’s 2/10 chances that you’ll win the lottery

I was SO excited. It was like $1.00 to play so I did it again and again and again maybe like 10 times and I got one each time!

When I was at my cousins birthday at a roller rink a few years ago, I want to a claw machine and put 5 dollars in, my cousins then walked by and said it was a ripoff. I played a claw machine that was filled with stuffed animals, I won first try and got a stuffed fish, best $1 ever.
The arcade I go to actually programs them so that 65% of the time you can actually win.
I literally won like 3 stuffed plushies for me my sister and her friend, each of us got the color we wanted and on another day at a ticket grabbing one I won a whole bunch of um’ 3 or 4 large rolls and a bunch of little ones.
It’s was so much fun! Truly a day to remember.

There was a trick my mom taught me was to check the toys for a "floater". Aka a toy that's laying across other toys with space under it. For some reason, it's when the claw didn't feel the tips touching toys they would clothes.
It was still tricky due to the claw spinning, angling it right, and the chance of it opening..but meh
