It was Aintree in 1961 and '62, with Brands Hatch coming in for the 1st time in '64.
Well, you didn't do any seasons with the 2.0-liter cars. That supercharged Alfa 158/159 is plenty fast, and the more developed 2.5-liter cars are good for ~180 mph in the top end, which is nothing to scoff at.
The 3.0-liter cars were never just massively faster than that in terms of top speed. By that time, it was much more down to handling, aero, and tire development in terms of time pick-up.
It really wasn't until the turbos came in and had some development that outright speeds made something of a jump. I mean, then, yeah, you could get to something like 220 mph.
Well, the 1.5-liter cars should certainly be easier to handle.
For a series like this, I don't think the 30-35-minute runtime is a bad duration. A bit of polishing on your commentary would be fine, but I mean, you're already running well under the real-life race distances.
I've had a few evenings here myself where I've just had to crash for a bit. I think it's been a combination of some over-stimulation from an event on Saturday; plus, it's just been hotter than Hell out here (105-110 degrees during the day). We're supposed to get out of the triple digits this coming Saturday, and might even have a slight chance of rain come Sunday.

A lot of the time in my head it will sound good but when it comes to recording I just stutter my way through things way too often & forget things that would've been good to mention 😅. I also struggle trying to convey things to make it easy to understand, like the current championship battle is a main talking point in the series but again I struggle to find ways to put it to you. I'm always trying to find ways to improve in all areas so all feedback is much appreciated 👍
Yeah the heat doesn't help here either. It's not that hot but its very muggy & humid so by the time I get home from work I'm normally an exhausted mess 😅. With that point, the last thing I want to do is record & instead just chill with a beer & watch some tv. Plus, it doesn't help when I have multiple projects going on at the same time 😅
