And not only that, but whatever little piece of interior the night buzzard had couldn't even fit a minifig, even sitting it couldn't shut the door all the way
One of the other comments compares this to the KoR transport ship and that is a much more fair comparison. The shuttle could've been better, but at the end of the day it's a shuttle and it has 3 wings, so the center section of it cannot hold that many figures as not all of the budget goes towards it.
Not a fair comparison, bad batch shuttle comes with 2 speeders so that’s an extra 2 figures it carries right there, and it has wings which cost but don’t fit figs.

A great set for army building even if you own one, imagine if LEGO now makes a regular Imperial Troop Transport with more Dark Troopers. I am glad that we finally have an official LEGO mortar, that opens potential for Umbara MOC's.
Yes! I was actually really looking forward to this set for Imperial army building. I definitely plan on picking up a few of these and more of the TIE fighters for my Imperial military. I LOVE that artillery stormtrooper minifig.

I kinda want them to make one of those Imperial dropships we saw in Mando Season 2 but this is still an interesting set that I might get, maybe I could even make an alternate build with this to make it into that dropship.
Looks like a solid set, even though the minifig selection is off. It should’ve come with at least one scout trooper w/ speeder bike 🏍, but can’t complain with the inclusion of the mortar guy!
Wow. This set looks even better than I initially expected, the whole set is a great army booster both in infantry and vehicles. I'm definitely aiming to pick up four Also, was anyone else not expecting those faces for the stormtroopers?
I'm still confused on how people have room for more than one of the same lego set. I've got 70-80 Lego Star Wars sets in my room and not one is a duplicate. I don't even buy newer versions of a ship I already own, with the exception of UCS... And I still can't find room to keep all my Lego ships everywhere. My stance on the present stormtrooper helmets is as follows: They’re a little big, but great in almost every other way! One of the most common arguments against the modern helmet is that it’s too big, but every LEGO trooper helmet is big as hell. Even clone trooper helmets are the size of the figure’s entire torso. Another argument is the trooper can’t turn its head because of the helmet. Thing is, since when could stormtroopers turn their heads at all? In basically every scene you see them in, they’re always facing forward, so what’s the problem? And if you’ve ever been in a stormtrooper costume before, you’ll know turning your head is damn near impossible. I love how detailed the modern helmets are and how they don’t seem slide off as easily as the other helmets. My only complaint is the chin piece goes down a little too much. But other than that, they’re a 9/10 in my book.
Looks like an awesome set! Although I feel that this should be more like a 30 dollar set rather than 40 Edit: I probably should've reworded this comment, I wasn't thinking about the piece value, I was thinking about the set itself. I think that for what you get in this set, regardless of the 400+ piece count, is not worth 40 dollars, at least in my opinion. The one thing I do like about this set are the mini figures and the fact that it is like a troop transport
A pretty successful set to me. Definitely an improvement to what lego got us used to lately (overpriced thin builds with minimal interior space). Now the review could be a bit more detailed, I think the guy is in a kind of rush presenting this. Still an enjoyable video
I just got this set yesterday and when I was building it it was a interesting and unexpected build. When I finished building it it was the best star wars vehicle I had ever seen.
I wish it had a scout trooper instead of grief carga. I feel like they kinda force the this side vs the other side in sets. I would just prefer to have imperials in imperial sets and rebels in rebel sets.
I had the Kenner Imperial Troop Transporter when I was a kid. Yes, I'm that old. I often thought about making one in Lego, but never have. I know this isn't that vehicle, but it definitely follows from that design. I think this is really well done, especially for such a relatively cheap set. Lots of usable interior space, and the slots for the cargo are great.
Actually really love the set, can´t wait to get my hands on a few of those, also great that they started giving Stormtroopers unique faces. Also the female Stormtrooper to me is just really cool they have finally done it
If lego can make a mortar trooper w/ the yellow stripes, then they can make an incinerator trooper w/ the red stripes. I’m waiting for that, with Moff Gideon Outland tie fighter, & jet pack Mando!
i picked this up in may 2022 and it was a surprisingly fun build, i mostly collect clone wars stuff but it was worth $40, and i saw it on sale at the lego store for $32 it’s definitely worth that
Love that the new storm troopers have unique faces. I plan to buy multiple of these so I can now swap those heads out and use some of my many traditional stormtrooper heads in their place and use the new black and woman minifigure heads for custom figs! This is absolutely awesome.
