I do agree that I’m not sure why this set didn’t release with the fang fighter set. It’s a shame the designers didn’t know that the droid was going to be present, it would be a nice inclusion. That Bo Katan is absolutely gorgeous.
I feel like they should have at the very least included the little droid, given the delayed release, even if it didn't fit into the spider (although it should have, as there's a lot of room inside). Or at least include the red astromech they had around, because 3 minifigs seems a bit low for the price. Edit: 3 minifigures by itself is alright, but two of them have been incredibly common, so you're only really getting a single new one.
Bo Katan is absolutely incredible! The only thing missing is Grogu's Pram so he can ride in! Really wish they would've included that especially since it's on the box art haha
To echo others’ comments, the biggest loss to this set is the absence of the creature/droid who was piloting it. Apparently Lego did not have all the info before release of S3 of the Mandalorian but this set is coming out 5 months later - surely some changes could have been made?! Plus Lego are once again really scrimping on the set accessories - Grogus’ crib features heavily in this episode - plus the macabre cage which Din Djarin is held in - both of these should have been included with the set. If Lego did not have all the info before producing the set, they owe it to their customers to wait as the buying public deserves an accurate set from episode - especially at that price. Although I am sure a figure can be created from various droid parts - which is probably what I will do. And that Bo Katan figure is probably the best Star Wars minifig for at least a couple of years - even better than Gar Saxon!
That would definitely justify the price. My opinion is the sets are designed and competed way before any episode promos are released. Designing does take a while
I really like this set. Yes, too bad no driver/pilot for the spider tank. Maybe someone will make a custom one to sell. Otherwise, I was excited to see this when announced a little while ago. I liked Mandalorian S3. This set's episode representation was one of my favorite scenes. Very cool design. It does remind me a bit of the mecha you'd see from Ghost in the Shell. Creepy cyborg pilot (again, too bad not included). And, Bo-Katan simply kicked ass and one of her best fight scenes from S3.
The thing definitely has a GitS vibe to it. I wonder if someone would MOC the fight between the Major and the spider tank in the animated movie with this thing...
Price per piece is pretty good for this lego set. I appreciate the communication on why the droid wasn’t included. Maybe something they could do in the future with other sets. Be more open in why things didn’t happen.
This set should have definitely been released sooner. I remember when it came out to preorder, it was very exciting. I am looking forward to this set as I'm a big Mandalorian fan.
Was very dissapointed upon seeing the leaks of this set, however this looks a lot better in person. Happy to see you still pumping out quality reviews and content after all these years!
Season 3 was a real disappointment for me. I feel like the writers didn't exactly know what to do since season 1 and 2 were entirely focused on returning baby yoda/grogu back to his people, and they just threw that all away in TBOB.
I actually think season 3 was fine but yea it didn’t really feel like it had an end goal and thus ended up actually focusing on Mandalore which is fine. It wasn’t as good as the last 2 seasons but then season 2 is the best so far. After all I don’t think they would have kept him with Luke since we know that Luke fails at bringing back the Jedi because Kylo Ren destroys the temple and all of his pupils.
I would be interested to see if someone does a brick built version of the bug character that drives the tank. I would love to add that to the set if I got it and also a build of the little contraption that he cooks Mando in would be cool
The spider tank reminds me of separatist crab droid mixed with a HMP gunship. I personally want this for clone wars mocs, as a prototype separatist weapons platform. While that isn't confirmed in any canon, I think a droid as advanced as the one we see in season 3 would have to have come from a big budget, which usually means military funding. I think that could be a cool backstory for this droid, and the Grievous creature finding it out of commission amongst a bunch of war remains. Especially with how old it looks in the show.
Great for the figs and the saber and personally I think they did a good job making the spider tank this general as it looks like a default spider mech from other sci-fi shows. Make the head more rectangular and the ghost in the shell fans will understand ahha
I just got this set today and I absolutely love everything about it. I rate it 8/10. It would easily have been a 10 for me if they inlcuded Grogu's floating pram, the spider pilot droid and the cage for Din. But a really solid set nevertheless.
I was just going to get Bo Katan through BrickLink until you mentioned the Fallen walker from Destiny lol. Now I'm probably going to get the whole set when it releases
It is a pretty disappointing set I must say without that droid guy but… honestly that Bo Katon makes it worth it! But I do agree, it’s not a day one buyer for me. I’ll wait till it goes on sale!
Hi! First off all, Great Video! I ordered a few products from minifigs4U and wanted to ask if there are any Problems with the delivery to EU? Because I am waiting quite a time now. Thanks in advance!
Catching up on some of these shorter review videos - worth the price of admission to see you bounce the spider tank around, that was great 😂 Also, I say this without looking super closely at any of the box art, is it weird that they don’t identify what this this set is from? I feel like every Star Wars set just says “Star Wars” and while I get each set it names and that might help some people and big times fans will know what this is from but without identifying this is from the Mandelorian I wonder how many people would skip past this or think it’s something from the main line of films. Probably doesn’t impact sales at all but I remember seeing this released and wondering what I was forgetting because I couldn’t remember what movie it was from.
I know exactly what you mean when you mention the D2 spider tank. I've been playing since just before the Shadowkeep DLC and it would be interesting to find out if influence was drawn from the Fallen Spider Tank.
I bet this spider will come back in the next season and they repurposed it to fight with canons on top or something. If that happens. This set will fly off the shelves lol
It makes no sense to design a set so early if they only release it in august only for it to have huge flaws like missing the third minifigure or or campfire thing mando was captured in. Both where really important to the actual plot because the darksaber belonged to that creature.
This is were I disagree, I need this set day one. I am so eccited for it and I think 50 is a perfect price. Then again I do not have a bo katan, Din Jarin, or grogu so that might be affecting it. OTherwise great \video adn great review.
I've started playing a game that every time you make a lego review, I guess the price of the set before watching. I've already guessed a ridiculous high price of $40 for this but I'm impressed that I'm still wrong every single time😂
Hey David, dyou really think the set’ll drop in price to ~$40 some time this year? The Bo-Katan fig looks terrific but like you said, it’s an kinda an outlier and I wouldn’t mind waiting ‘til it’s $40.
Why is it that Lego is so quick in releasing Star Wars sets based on the Disney plus shows, but have not made many Disney plus marvel sets(other than the minifigure series and the two “what if” mechs
Why not Ghost in the shell or Ninja Gaiden 3 has a spider tank their kinda popular In most manga I would probably pick one up the Lego Star Wars set for the tank
For 50€ way to expensive but for 30€ it would be a normal lego set. And its not about inflation, if you would calculate it you would probably come out at 35€ so 30-35 would be a good price. Lego is just to overpriced, although this set is good.
this set is cool but is not one that I want for display and at 50$ I can't really justify it when two of the minifigures are coming in every mandalorian set ever. I really really think lego did a fantastic job on bo but I think I'm gonna wait till she comes out and buy her on whatnot or something for like 15-20$ instead.
I do agree that I’m not sure why this set didn’t release with the fang fighter set. It’s a shame the designers didn’t know that the droid was going to be present, it would be a nice inclusion. That Bo Katan is absolutely gorgeous.
I agree with Bo-Katan, but the minifigure of her looks really good too
@@Psyo_ Lmao
I feel like they should have at the very least included the little droid, given the delayed release, even if it didn't fit into the spider (although it should have, as there's a lot of room inside). Yea I don’t care for the set but I really want the Bo Katan figure 😢
As a dedicated Destiny player for years, I agree it kinda reminds me of a Fallen Walker
Devil's Lair goes brr
new excuse for me to buy it
Looks like you could use it to make an Aksis moc
Same
Cant believe mega construction dropped the series
Bo Katan is absolutely incredible! The only thing missing is Grogu's Pram so he can ride in! Really wish they would've included that especially since it's on the box art haha
Bo almost looks like a custom figure. I love what they’ve done to her
To echo others’ comments, the biggest loss to this set is the absence of the creature/droid who was piloting it. Apparently Lego did not have all the info before release of S3 of the Mandalorian but this set is coming out 5 months later - surely some changes could have been made?!

Was there really a pilot inside? Then it's a fun contradicition to vulture and gunship having droid pilot inside
I really like this set. Yes, too bad no driver/pilot for the spider tank. Maybe someone will make a custom one to sell. Otherwise, I was excited to see this when announced a little while ago. Season 3 was terrible dude
I’m only buying it for the Bo Karan figure, but it actually looks better than I thought. Nice job on the review!
Same here
As a Maryland native, we have lots of Blue Crabs at the Chesapeake Bay and we have our traditions
I could see people with deeper pockets pick a few up and resell the figures but keep the tanks to add to a CIS army
This set should have definitely been released sooner. I remember when it came out to preorder, it was very exciting. I am looking forward to this set as I'm a big Mandalorian fan.

nice rhyme there: 1:53
I would be interested to see if someone does a brick built version of the bug character that drives the tank. I would love to add that to the set if I got it and also a build of the little contraption that he cooks Mando in would be cool
might cop just for the minifigs if it goes on sale later
Thats one mighty fine tank.
Mine had a piece missing. It was a brown Technic rod that attaches one of the spider legs onto the body.
Wow I never thought I’d say this but I might get this now
We should have gotten Moff Gideon in one of those sets
No he shouldn’t have
Well
It's weird it doesn't have the driver dude, he looked kinda cool. Bo looks great (and I enjoyed season 3 apparently, that's just me).
The spider tank reminds me of separatist crab droid mixed with a HMP gunship. I personally want this for clone wars mocs, as a prototype separatist weapons platform. I thought of the fallen Walker too! It’s cool to see someone else who has played destiny
Awesome review! I might just buy this for the Bo Katan since I have everything else.
Great for the figs and the saber and personally I think they did a good job making the spider tank this general as it looks like a default spider mech from other sci-fi shows. Make the head more rectangular and the ghost in the shell fans will understand ahha
I definitely will be getting this for the new Bo Katan figure. It's a great update to the previous one from the clone wars show
you're absolutely right it does look like a fallen walker from Destiny
This set made me want to re-watch Ghost in the Shell (1995 version)
0:49 I think SBS is one of the 4%
I just got this set today and I absolutely love everything about it. I rate it 8/10. It would easily have been a 10 for me if they inlcuded Grogu's floating pram, the spider pilot droid and the cage for Din. But a really solid set nevertheless.
THE BEST!
Looks awesome great review
out of topic, but this would be a really good set to add upgrades and weapons or things to make it better.
When’s the republic gunship review🔥🔥🔥
I was just going to get Bo Katan through BrickLink until you mentioned the Fallen walker from Destiny lol. Now I'm probably going to get the whole set when it releases
When is Lego going to make tales of the Jedi sets or More Andor sets or Bad Batch season 2 sets
That Bo Katan Minifigure. 🤌🏾🤌🏾🔥🔥
Hi Solid Brix, genuine question. Does that new longer style of intro that last 2 minutes effect the viewers retention time a lot?
This set remindes me the Spider Tank in the first anime movie Ghost in The Shell. If you know, you know.
It is a pretty disappointing set I must say without that droid guy but… honestly that Bo Katon makes it worth it!
But I do agree, it’s not a day one buyer for me. I’ll wait till it goes on sale!
LEGO Star Wars 2023 9+ 75361 Spider Tank Set
Best reviews ever
The definition of buying it just for the figures…😂
I wasn't going to buy this before, but then I saw the rubber on the legs. I'M SOLD
Hi! First off all, Great Video! I ordered a few products from minifigs4U and wanted to ask if there are any Problems with the delivery to EU? Because I am waiting quite a time now. Thanks in advance!
can be used as CIS arsenal the super spider droid
I will buy this for the Bo-Katan figure since she is my favorite character.
Catching up on some of these shorter review videos - worth the price of admission to see you bounce the spider tank around, that was great 😂

I can already see people building Basilisk war droid using the spider tank
I don't think I will go for this set. But I definitely will get Bo Katan at Bricks & Minifigs.
Fantastic! I can't wait!!!
Cool set
Although it looks great as a standalone model it doesn’t cry out Star Wars to me.
Since there’s arm printing, I bet this Bo figure will show up in another set later
Possibility of a ghost in the shell mod
This set was leaked months ago, so idk why it was released after the hype for Mando s3 died down
I know exactly what you mean when you mention the D2 spider tank. I've been playing since just before the Shadowkeep DLC and it would be interesting to find out if influence was drawn from the Fallen Spider Tank.
Awesome!
AWESOME "LEGO Star Wars Spider Tank REVIEW | Set 75361", David Hall from Solid Brix Studios!;):) 😮❤🎉😂😅😊
I really enjoy your videos
Bo katan on bricklink is gonna be worth half the entire set, lets be honest
I bet this spider will come back in the next season and they repurposed it to fight with canons on top or something. If that happens. This set will fly off the shelves lol
This set I probably wait until it releases
It makes no sense to design a set so early if they only release it in august only for it to have huge flaws like missing the third minifigure or or campfire thing mando was captured in. Both where really important to the actual plot because the darksaber belonged to that creature.
For 500 pieces that box is Hella small, I've seen lego city sets with 80 pieces have bigger boxes.
This is were I disagree, I need this set day one. I am so eccited for it and I think 50 is a perfect price. Then again I do not have a bo katan, Din Jarin, or grogu so that might be affecting it. OTherwise great \video adn great review.
If it came with the actual robot cyborg fella I'd consider it. Now the only appeal is the new bo
It reminds me of Ghost in the Shell.
Where do you get that darth vader pixel art thing
I've started playing a game that every time you make a lego review, I guess the price of the set before watching. I've already guessed a ridiculous high price of $40 for this but I'm impressed that I'm still wrong every single time😂
In 2023 40 sounds generous tbh. Though just be patient and it will soon be on discount.
I kinda want a few for a moc
How high is the chance that Lego will drop the price some time in the future? 🤔
Glad i managed to buy Bo Katan instead of entire set from a seller.. although i had to paiy 40 Dollar for it but still worth it
Even with Bo-Katan… I’ll just wait till November when it’s on sale
Wow this sets not bad
Hey David, dyou really think the set’ll drop in price to ~$40 some time this year?
The Bo-Katan fig looks terrific but like you said, it’s an kinda an outlier and I wouldn’t mind waiting ‘til it’s $40.
Probably by the end of the year
@@jinpayne 🤞hope so. I’m not too familiar with price drop trends, dyou know if it usually happens only on Amazon or also Lego themselves?
This is a definite wait. If Bo Katan comes in a different set down the line it’s a never buy.
Why is it that Lego is so quick in releasing Star Wars sets based on the Disney plus shows, but have not made many Disney plus marvel sets(other than the minifigure series and the two “what if” mechs
It should have had the being inside the machine, I suspect this thing is a little gift for Mandalorians hiding inside the mines on behalf of Gideon.
Why not Ghost in the shell or Ninja Gaiden 3 has a spider tank their kinda popular In most manga I would probably pick one up the Lego Star Wars set for the tank
What camera do you use?
Is mando's helmet color the same as un the ucs razor crest ? The ucs Version looks slightly darker
Tankis at the end of deep stone crypt?
For me the only aspect of this set I'm interested in is Bo Katan. So probably a pass unless I find it for extremely cheap
For 50€ way to expensive but for 30€ it would be a normal lego set. And its not about inflation, if you would calculate it you would probably come out at 35€ so 30-35 would be a good price. Lego is just to overpriced, although this set is good.
Do ya think he will review the venator??
It looks more like a crab then a spider lego star wars sets
This is a solid set but is missing some key components. But the minifigures really do help it reach that $55 value!
This would be the perfect set if it was 35$ Max!
You should make a Lego destiny moc
I will never understand why we get this set and we STILL haven’t gotten a captain rex’s y-wing
it is a crab, spiders have more legs than that
wish this set came out 2 months ago
I pre ordered this so long ago…
Change some colors on a tank and it's necron =)
Mando season 3 💩 the bed…I’m still undecided on this one.
When is it releesing in EU ?
Geonosis Update when?
I still question myself why I pre-ordered this. It is not bad, but neither that special. And a bit pricy.
this set is cool but is not one that I want for display and at 50$ I can't really justify it when two of the minifigures are coming in every mandalorian set ever. I really really think lego did a fantastic job on bo but I think I'm gonna wait till she comes out and buy her on whatnot or something for like 15-20$ instead.
