You a show signs of compassion understandings and and respect to both men and women and children.
Angela Bassett did so much more than just give a jaw-dropping performance....she helped Tina tell her story and speak to women around the world trapped in abusive relationships, telling them that there is a way out, that they can take back their identities in style and transform themselves into bullet-proof badasses in just about any walk of life....that is Tina's real crowning achievement and Angela was instrumental in getting that out into the stratosphere....

The original album has been re-mastered and extended containing the songs ''TINA'S WISH'' and ''SHAKE A TAIL FEATHER''. Those songs were previously cut from the U.S. release. Also includes remixes, edits, and both a audio and video version of her concert '' WHAT'S LOVE- LIVE'' {SEPTEMBER 15th, 1993]. This ultimate box set will be released April 26th.

Because of the bitter relationship between the Turners, Fishburne did not have Ike Turner around as a role model. He did meet Ike Turner once, though, during production of the film. “He was not invited, he was not really wanted, but we were shooting in the house they used to live in.

Tina stayed throwing shade at Angela, saying she didnt look like her or she didnt look as good in her outfits as she did.
That was giving an honest and obvious observation. Yall so used to people giving fake bias reviews of things.
That was no shade and she didn't say the second part at all? She simply said that the outfit Angela is wearing is not one she herself has worn. And the first part was just her stating that it wasn't just her looks that got Angela the role but her spirit and her talent. Everyone knows they don't look exactly alike but Angela captured her essence and Tina has expressed her gratitude to Angela over and over again.
There were other issues Tina had with the way the movie was approached that Angela had nothing to do with. But she was nothing but supportive of Angela.

Y'all stay making excuses for Tinas' rude behavior because of what she went through. Also watch the press conference of What's Love Got To Do With at the Cannes Film Festival in 1993. Tina sat up there and literally trashed the movie while Angela sat there uncomfortably. I mean I understand she wasn't happy with the movie but she didn't have to sit up there and drag it as the woman playing her is sitting right next to her. 😢Off topic but Tinas' best friend even wrote a book talking about her rude behavior. Just because you like someone doesn't mean you have to make excuses for their uncouth behavior.
I love Tina but I did watch that BET awards interview and she was Shady as hell to Angela saying that she did not look good in her clothes.
