I love your vibe. Very endearing and engaged. Makes one feel like you are speaking directly to THEM and no one else. 😁👍Looking forward to more.
Sometimes one finds a diamond in the dirt. This channel is one!! =)

Awesome video and lovely pooch. Having a friend send some cutting from Havasu (nursery not wild) and u just told me everything I need.
Oh my gosh thank you. Your background music combo kills me🤣
Niceness🥰 going to plant my San Pedro gift from South Africa now.
Greetings from Sweden
Instant megafan. Love your personality in the Vlog and your pace. It keeps me engaged. You're cheery and to the point, as well as detailed. Great balance for the videos. Could we get some on grafting as well as starting from seed? Maybe a video on the varieties and regions they come from? Another good one would be the difference in San Pedro and Peyote in regards to the active and medicinal components.
Way to rock it Cactus Man 💪😎 🌵
You my friend are a pretty cool dude. Thanks for this great video.
Super informative. Thanks
Thanks for sharing ❤️🙏🏽❤️
What growth zone are you in?, I'm about to move to Florida to pursue my ethnobotanical dreams. Great poppy video. Really love the work your doing man. I have high hopes the new wave of cannabis culture will start trying to further and reviatalize the knowledge we have of these plants. Great San Pedro video, I was worried about taking a cutting so small ( afraid it would dry out, before rooting ). Looking forward to your future videos.
my favorite youtube video rn it is so helpful thanks dude!

Great information 👍
Great video
Amazing to have a species named after you
Legend Max, thank you!...PS...the frenchy puppy is a cutie
👍🏼 ✌🏼
Lol in the Sonoran desert I can grow these like weeds no water.
Nice video mate
This was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you! What time of year should I cut and clone my cactus? After summer into fall when the growing season starts to end?
I could be wrong but pretty sure you want all the rooting and stuff to take place during grow season. Cause they can't do those things while they're dormant.
Thank you for this 😉
The dog's like, "whaa? That's cool and everything but why are you telling me all this?"
thanks foe the content! :)
Thanks brother,peace…
WOW AWESOME VIDEO
Love ur plants. How long do u let a broken off piece dry out?
U got that many clones. It probably hard to distinguish what ones are truly gona b able to pollinate each another..... I really love your collection regardless
Thanks sir
bro best videos RESPECT! question if you done mind. i have a Peruvian torch. about 7-8 inch tall.. is it too soon to create a clone?
Great personality, great information... but my favorite part of the video was the interruption from the dog!
I have a Pitty who is always right in my lap when I’m working with my plants, so it just made me smile.
excellent video.Do you sell cuttings and /or seeds?
Great video, do you sell cuttings? I am in need of some root stocks for moon cactus scion. Can't find any small ones like 4-6 inches.
Thanks helped me alot (;

Great info I love cactus. My sister had some and I am going to plant some. Do you sell them.

Trying to do this with a totem pole cactus. How do I tell if it’s in a state of hibernation?
You had me at the dog kiss 😘
Excellent information here, thank you. I have 2 cacti both around 1.5m high and both with 2 12" limbs on. Would you recommend me cloning or leaving them to mature further? Cheers
I'd clone them... Graft a loph on top while you are hacking at em... Thank me later
Can the same cutting technique be used on monstrosos? I have a few arms over 4’ that are leaning and/or growing into my porch roof.
Any advice on soil, upping the yield of the alkaloids ? I use fox farm soil . Fish 🐟 blend
Can you air-layer one of these columnar cacti (get it to grow roots halfway up the trunk)?
Ty for the info. Any good starter kit set / website or u ship?
Holy smoke, Chaim!

When you cut the top off, is it ok to let the open flesh wound on rooted part exposed to the sun, or should it be protected also until it scabs over ?
Let it see sun. Dries properly
Do the thin diameter cuttings get thic aswell?
Buena Nico Ergo
What was the smooth spineless cactus or plant in the back round
Time to eat some of those 😅
Whats the one at 1:09 called? The one right of the san pedro you are showing next to the the climbing one. The one with the ”bulbs” on it
How long does it take for your cutting to callus enough to plant it on soil?
What type lighting do you run in your cactus room?
Great video, but please turn down the vocal singing in the background, my hearing isn't great and it sounds like this tutorial is a conversation at a cabaret.
Hey Max im in Syracuse NY and im having a heck of a time finding a san pedro for my collection. Can u point me towards some good sellers please?
Can you clone this time of year?
how much sun (lighting) do you give the cactus while its developing roots?
An hour or two maybe. They don't have roots so they will get dangerously dry with too much sun especially if its very hot
I’ve seen people put cinnamon on the wound of the rooted bottom piece , Will that encourage growth ?
How do you get your san pedro so blue-green?
Looks like you propagated an ocotillo back there?
Does it need low light to root... I think I made the mistake of keeping them in the dark... and not happening....so I’m doing something wrong... cut... callous....set it in the dirt and let it chill out of direct sunlight... I think I took that way to literal when I read keep out of direct sun. Just kept it in the dark altogether....
It needs SOME sun otherwise it won't root. If it's dark and fairly cool, they go dormant.
Not sure why mine started to shrivel were i cut
Bridgesii is strong. TBM is super strong. Stronger than LW especially when stressed.
Hi.why are the cactis so thin?
those L. W. grafts look like they worked out what is the succulent species.
I seen these a few times but are yet to work it out myself
i cut it and bury to ground after 3 weeks nothing happened whats the problem ? it still alive but does not have roots i am giving little water but nothing is happening help me pls
Do you cut the spines off of the San Pedro?
Only when consuming. Otherwise they don't really prick much at all when handling .
Do you have any hoodia?
My love cactus (first attempt) is dying and this guy grows them off the ground 😢
how long, after cutting, cactus should rest out of pot before planting?
2weeks minimum.
Once it's sufficiently calloused/dried, plant shallowly in dry soil until it begins to root.
May take a month, could even be a year.
I’ve literally cut them and stuff them back in the soil. Never waited to callous, they started growing normally and even started growing pups. I’ve done this many times over.maybe im just lucky 😂
@@mikebell1018, I waited 24 hr for mine. We’ll see how it goes .
So u sell any clones?
Thank you and better without the music.
Jungle plants? I thought they're from dry parts of Peru and south America
So is the trick to growing cactus is not water at all I grow cannabis and vegetables but kill aloe and cactus
You don't wanted in winter normally only water when in active growth.
I wonder if is possible to graft a dragon fruit to a Peruvian apple ???
Almost guaranteed! They're essentially the same fruit. It's terribly common to graft cacti. I saw someone in my country who had little tips of san pedro they were grafting to a prickly pear that looks like it had seen PILES of grafts added and cut off. The prickly pear was looking pretty beaten up
Dude I wish I could donate my plant to u before it die or I wish u would please help me save my seven foot Cactus well it was 7 foot up until yesterday I had to cut the head of it off meaning the top part because it had diseased in root rot.. I am stressing over this if u have any ideas please share
I T S F O R M Y R E L I G I O N
Max Montrose you can get it.
0:49 PC Pach, not true san pedro.
Makes for good root stock.
What is the ingredients of the soil you are using????????
Very often a potting soil and perlite mix.
Your cacti are super over crouded in those pots.
Do u part with any of these 🙏 😆 ebay?
mertilia geomectris cactus???
Looks like you don't have anymore space for your cacti. I will gladly clear some space for you:-)
what is a "sacred" cactus?
psychoactive
Google huachuma ceremony 🙏
I'm super interested in what you have to share but didn't make it past 15 seconds because of the background music is as loud as your talking. Making it very distracting. Please make another without the horrible background/forefront music. Thanks man!! Take care!!
Lmao I read it as Max Monstrose
It's actually Max Monstrousteinbergblattner.
