With Ben retiring, every player from that magical Super Bowl XL run has retired. That playoff stretch has added significance to me, because watching that game is what made me a football fan. To be more specific, it's what made me a Steeler fan for life. I may not always be happy with the decisions made, but you can bet, any time a Steelers game is on out here in California, I'm wearing my Ward jersey, waving that beloved Towel, and pretending I'm at Heinz Field.
May Roethlisberger live in peace, and I hope he enjoys all of the well-earned time with his wife and kids. I hope he gets to see them grow up and realize that their dad was a BADASS for the Steelers, and, dare I say it, the best QB the Steelers have ever had, and someone who should be in the conversation for top 10 *ALL-TIME* at his position.

To me on Big Ben retiring as a Steeler, I always enjoyed watching great QBs like Brady, Rodgers, Manning, Mahomes, Brees and Roethlisberger play with their best talents in the NFL.
But for Big Ben and the Steelers, him growing up with John Elway, as his idol, makes him not just the modern Elway of his own but the Steelers’ Elway Star.
It’s no surprise to any Steelers fan Big Ben would retire. To me however, it’s sad that without him now retired, the rivalry between him and the AFC North fades as well with the Patriots.
Yes I’m a Patriots fan. But in my heart beyond being a Pats fan, I give respect to QBs that play very well in my heart. I don’t want to always disclose what team I am on. I prevent it from being worse, especially with conflicts with unknown people who could be trolls.
Beyond myself, Cheers to Big Ben. Hope he has a great happy retirement.

Though Big Betty Ben Roethlisberger looked bad in his last season he never played horrible before hand, Ben’s 2 rings are far more impressive than people give him credit for. The Steelers don’t win against the cardinals without him, they don’t even make it to the big dance without him. A true goat

Long Live Fat Head! Good career, Steelers were waiting for a QB since Bradshaw retired in 83. In his prime, he could rival the best with his ability to break tackles & extend plays. He won 2 Superbowls, even with Brady & Manning in the AFC.

It was a privilege watching him growing up. One of the most unique QBs ever. Crazy talent, always made his receivers better, tough as nails, and clutch in big moments. It's a shame he didn't get at least 1 more ring in the Killer B's era thanks to the atrocious defense. Historic offense with nothing to show for it.
