When Fitz has more tackles than drops, best hands is an understatement.
Dude I was gonna say that
@@StrangeTamer178 Best statistic in NFL history
Lol wat? That’s awmazing
@@chrisyentastic379 when I first I heard that the first thing I thought was bs but nah it’s actually true 😂😂
Speaks about his qbs! Y is he making tackles?
In an era of diva wideouts, this dude was elite, a humble guy, and an even better teammate. This dude during the 08 playoffs was on another level
Yeah, I was watching “a football life: Emmitt Smith” the other day and it had younger Larry on there explaining that he became the pro on and off the field that he became because of his 2 years with Emmitt Smith when Emmitt went to Arizona to wind down his career.
I’m not sure if anyone in team sports deserves a ring more than Larry Fitzgerald. Nothing but respect.
melo maybe
Larry might have EARNED it, but the rest of the players on his teams didn't play like Larry.
Moss
@@juangringo3906 Moss was never a Cardinal bruh…
@@secrazo Well no sh*t. Smh
How am I JUST now realizing he has a signature TD celebration...after nearly every amazing TD he will immediately underhand the ball to an official, no matter how excited he is or isn't 🤣
And it's the LACK of showmanship that we love too!
Yes, very understated and classy. Seems to go very well with his demeanor; just a professional in every sense of the word.
I remember one time after Larry caught a touchdown and spiked the ball.....he then apologized to the ref, teammates and then again to the tv announcer after the game.
Barry Sanders did the same thing every time
@@NatTurnergrandsonChrisdorner didnt know that, too astonished by his cut moves to even notice Barry do it!
Larry Fitzgerald is widely considered by fans, coaches and peers to be one of the greatest receivers in NFL history. He was the heart and soul for the team that drafted him as the #3 overall pick. He played all 17 seasons with all with the Arizona Cardinals. He carried the Cardinals to their first ever Super Bow appearance. He is second in NFL career receiving yards with (17,492), second in career receptions with (1,432), and sixth in receiving touchdowns with (121). Salute to #11 Larry Fitzgerald!!!
Fitz was and still remains one of the greatest class WRs to ever play this game, respect Fitz
That playoff game against the Packers was legendary. Two incredible teams, both healthy and talented, hungry for the win, and it was down to overtime🔥🔥🔥
He is the one way that everybody agrees deserves a ring
Uh, how old are you? Gotta be less than 20. Because THE guy that deserved a ring and never got it was Dan Marino. You'll notice the Steelers didn't make THAT mistake a second time: when the University of Pitt QB was available in the draft, the Steelers grabbed him this time.
@@cynthiatravers8757 you could argue Dan sure but I personally believe Larry deserves it more than anyone else also what do the Steelers drafting picket have to do with this
@@cynthiatravers8757 Dan had his chance vs the 49ers in the super bowl and all the other times he failed in the playoffs. If we’re still bashing #32 overall picks today then Marino can get it too
He did his part in that super bowl run and in that super bowl. Remember that hustle he had on the harrison pick 6? And the guy was loyal to the cardinals of all teams. Just pure class.
@@cynthiatravers8757 Why are you so mad that someone believes Larry Fitzgerald deserves respect? Also calm down you're literally dissing a dude for "being young" because his favorite player isn't from the 80s and the guy could be 35 for all you know, chill dude
Being in the Cardinals stadium and hearing the entire stadium (even the opposing fans would join in) roar "LARRY! LARRY! LARRY!" when he entered the stadium was a surreal experience. I don't think I'll ever hear the stadium's crowd roar louder for a player again.
That 2008 Super Bowl was so epic. 2 Teams, one the favorite, the other and underdog slugging it out, and the legendary John Madden and Al Micheals commentating. It was a joy to watch.
I remember watching an NFL compilations that was like "rarest moments in NFL history" and there was a bunch of stuff like The Holy Roller or the OBJ one-handed catch but they also put a clip of Larry Fitzgerald dropping a pass, and I just had to laugh in astonishment. If your legacy is that you dropping a pass is one of the rarest things in NFL history you truly made it. Him in the Hall of Fame is a when, not an if.
As a Vikings fan I wish he came home and played for us. But I totally understand his loyalty and commitment to the team that drafted him. I really wish Larry got a ring.
As a Cards fan, he was fun to watch. As a Larry fan, I wish he would have played with a contender (like the Vikes) his last two years. Especially the one year we had rookie QB Rosen as our starter. How does our GM Steve Keim still have a job in the NFL? He's not qualified to be a water boy.
As a fan of seeing other people start their posts by saying, "As a fan" I can say, as a fan, that I like watching LF dominate, as a fan.
One of my favorite receivers to ever play, wish he would’ve won a ring, but still in all, a hell of a career nonetheless, can’t wait to see him in Canton in about 5 or so years.
If you think about it, Larry Fitzgerald played two positions in his entire NFL career: wide receiver and safety.
I remember him at Pittsburgh torching D'Angelo hall his last year of college he was unstoppable
He also played slot receiver.
He played 3 positions actually, don't forget slot receiver! He was one of the BEST blocking receivers in the NFL.
@@tyjohnson5349 he was and might be ever
true, bc he only had good qb play maybe 3 seasons total of his whole career... Warner and Palmer
The complete WR - could do everything at an exceptional level. Such a joy to watch. If Kurt Warner went to Arizona a few years earlier or if the Cards didn’t run prevent in the last drive of SB 43, Fitz would’ve had some rings by now. At least he’s set for Canton
Best blocking wr I've ever seen aswell.
not to mention, if that guy didn't stop him from tackling Harrison on the INT
@@Beranin triggers me everytime I watch it
@@anel313det you must have him confused with someone else. I hadn't counted specifically, but I'm confident that no less than 35% of his career TDs were of 25 yds or more. Did you watch this video? Sure ,it's highlights, but it's clear he had the ability to go up & get it. And obviously his arm & hand strength were stellar. He saved many INTs for all them bum QBs he suffered with.
@@anel313det although I agree w most, there's a few points - TOs hands were not even close to Fitz. As an eagle fan, I can arrest to that. And how did Tyreek Hill make your list? Not only is he far too young to be included , but he's a one trick pony. Hes lightning fast, sure. But he ain't going over the middle taking hits , running slants, etc. Moss & Jerry are immortal in my book. But there's one dude right with them in total yds and that's Fitz. The greatest star I've ever heard is his having more career tackles than dropped passes. That's just ridiculous.
This man deserves a ring and so much more. One of those guys while he wasn't the undisputed best in the world hes a goat in everyone's heart because we knew what he could do. There's a nice spot in canton waiting on him.
Played with some GOAT QBs during the 2010s
Ryan Lindley
Josh Rosen
Drew Stanton
John Skelton
Kevin Kolb
He also played with Kurt Warner (I know he wasn't in the 2010's, but we cant forget that) They played in arguably the greatest super bowl of all time, even though they lost.
@@UrBnZombie the only good qb he ever had was only on his team for 4 years
@@419HLR Yea that is true. It's a shame, but legends cant play forever.
@@UrBnZombie yeah it’s a shame
@@419HLR Carson Palmer was also very good in his stint with the Cardinals even if it was pretty short.
Larry was one of the few players that enthralled such an enjoyment of the game that it was impossible to dislike him.
Jerry Rice is #1, Larry is #1A. I'm so glad I grew up in an era of Larry - I remember when he got drafted and he immediately became my favorite receiver in the NFL. Helps he's the consummate sportsman and teammate too.
he literally got me into wathing football, he always gonna be my favorite player
Still convinced that if he’d had consistently good QBs he’d be the all time reception leader. Jerry Rice always had great QBs. Larry is the 🐐
Such a brilliant and beautiful career. Larry Legend!
Pittsburgh legend
Dude hands were like vice grips 💪🏾
Incredible player, great human being too. One of the players who deserved a ring the absolute most.
Best hands in Nfl history! This dude never really dropped a pass no matter how you threw it to him. He had more tackles than dropped passes! Amazing, incredible!! Its funny cause hes #2 in receptions and #2 in receiving yards in Nfl history, his behind Jerry Rice only, and his whole career he had wack ass QBs lol. Larry Fitzgerald is definitely a GOAT!! Top 3 receiver of all time! 💯
even as a Steelers fan, Larry 100% deserves a ring.
He was too loyal.
Exactly he should've left
Larry might have EARNED a ring on another team.
Larry remained loyal to the cardinals his whole career
That's a tough task to do as well but only Larry can think like. Screw the money; find the comfort in AZ
One of my favorite players in nfl history. I don't even like the cardinals but I used to watch their games just to see him play
Had season tickets to the cardinals during the height of the cards. Fitz will always be my favorite athlete to play in the nfl. Guy would just stun the stadium every play
It's so sad to see him never win a Ring , even though the Cardinals beat my eagles I still wanted them to win in the sb because of Larry. Pain😔
His performance in 2017 against the giants, won me my fantasy league
I couldn't wait for his highlight breakdown, and it didn't disappoint. Larry Legend.
Yall Did NOT Know Just How Good Prime Larry Was. He Never Gets Mentioned With The Greatest WR Of All Time Even Though He Has The Lowest Drop Rate Of All Time And Is Right Behind Jerry Rice In Many Receiving Records
More career tackles than passes dropped. One of my favorite stats in history lol. Awesome player and complete CLASS on and off the field
Fitz was amazing catching contested passes.
Larry Legend is one of the most respected football players of all time. He jus let his talent & production do the talking.
Best ball skills I’ve ever seen.
It shouldn’t be forgotten that Larry Fitzgerald is respected not “only” as a football player. Senator John McCain, a Senator, a War Hero and an internationally known and respected Statesman requested that Larry Fitzgerald speak at his funeral. Amid all the dignitaries, it was Larry that Senator McCain chose because he admired his character on and off the field.
The video I've been waiting for!!! My favorite player of all time
I'm packers fan and we need Bruce Smith video
Truly a delight to watch and follow his career... I knew he was gonna be an all time great from Pitt when he made that unbelievable catch he was special... a complete wr that did it all
Larry Fitzgerald and Terrell Owens are two of the hardest receivers to tackle ever
No Andre Johnson was tougher but as far as randy moss plays nobody got up like Fitzgerald
I'm a Steelers fan but still have great respect for this guy. He definitely deserves a ring.
To play at that level consistently year after year. Amazing weapon.
Larry was an amazing WR, he should be a 1st ballot hall of famer
Agree, but I'll bet he's not, just because of the logjam at WR for the HoF. All it will take is enough voters peeved that their WR didn't get picked to block Fitz a couple of times. But he'll get in eventually.
@@cynthiatravers8757 He's literally 2nd all time in receiving yards and receptions......He's going first ballot. Also had the best ever postseason by any WR.
Without No Question
@@cynthiatravers8757 You do realize he was selected to the 100th All time team along with Jerry and Randy. He is the greatest athlete in Arizona sports history. of course he is a first ballot
@@cynthiatravers8757 You just proved you know nothing about football in this entire comment section.
Absolute professional. Never threw his teammates or coaches under the bus
Larry was the guy that you would always respect and cheer for, always showed professionalism at its best.
Finally we get to see some actual good highlights of him
Larry Fitzgerald is a absolute beast at WR. He should be mentioned with some of the all-time greats. Canton should be calling his name ASAP.
It was an honor seeing Larry play.
Him and Moss both came so close. Hell Randy went 34-3 between The Vikings and the Pats and 1 of those losses was from the 18-1 Pats SB. The other 2 was from the 16-2 Vikings who lost because of the Gary Anderson 32yd miss in the Championship game and hadnt missed since the season prior and the lights out SB. 4 close SBs between them and no ring.
finally some larry respect.
I was his tour guide when ge got to our island, he was huge but most humble and educated person I have ever met ever. What an amazing person I didn't know who he was because we live in polynesia and don't know anything about american football.
My 2 favorite Receivers of all time happen to be the most standup, genuine people. Larry Fitzgerald and Andre Johnson the best to do it no doubt, neither of them had consistent QB play yet still produced despite it. Legends.
LARRY LENGEND LETS GOOOOOO
The football equivalent of Larry legend
Literally. Some of the best players to play in their sport all time both named Larry deserve the nickname Larry Legend. First ballot Hall of Fame here he comes.
That Superbowl TD still gives me chills . Favorite player all time
Hall of Fame first ballot. Love Larry.
Without a doubt he's going straight in on the first try
As a packers fan that 2015 playoff game hurt so bad but damn fitz is an all time timer
As A Steelers Fan Larry Definitely Deserves A Ring NBS 💯 My Favorite Receiver Of All Time 🐐
His 2008 season was impressive. That's when I started watching football and it was a pleasure to watch this man ball out
We needed this video.
And he's from Minneapolis MN and was a ball boy for the Vikings when Chris Carter was playing for them.
Vikings were idiots for passing on him.
Arizona; will forever be grateful for the LEGEND, LARRY FITZGERALD!
Great video shoutout whoever made this fr!!!
To me, Larry is the greatest WR of all-time simply because of his consistency even with the QB carousel he's had for his entire career. Jerry Rice may be at the top of damn near every WR statistic, but he had 2 of the best Quarterbacks In NFL History throwing to him. Larry had an aging Kurt Warner throwing to him, literally the only notable QB he's ever had. I'm so glad to experience the greatness in Fitzgerald. If any player deserved a SB ring, it's this guy. But at least he'll be wearing that golden jacket once that time comes.
Top 5 Favorite Receiver of All-time
Wish he won a SB The Year where he was Virtually Unstoppable in that Postseason run That's Where he Got the Name Playoff Fitz
if the Cardinals won the Superbowl He Probably Would've Been Superbowl MVP
One of my favorite players of all time. A true Cardinals OG.
Underrated. I wanted him to win that super bowl vs Pittsburgh
Dude, same!
His ability to catch the ball in stride and not lose a step was so lethal. Couple that with his ability to catch a toughly contested ball and he was lights out against the defense.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Larry Fitzgerald! A LEGEND! in our beautiful state 48 Az! This man contributed and invested in our only super bowl appearance! “ does he deserve a ring??” FUCK YEAH!! He’s known as Larry Legend and many super bowl winning receivers haven’t accomplished half his stats! If you want to say “ oh but they won the super bowl “ well Larry made it to the hall of fame like he deserves! Now…tell me about Scotty Miller being a hall of famer..? I thought so 😂
Will forever be my goat. The single reason why I’m a cardinals and football fan
Larry "Legend" Fitzgerald !!! He is the BEST !!!
I was a freshman in HS when he was on the cover of NCAA football so I always followed him because I've never seen anyone from Pitt recognized before being from Idaho and all.
It goes Jerry Rice, Larry Legend, Tim Brown in my top 3.
this dude has magnets for hands, god damn.
Larry and Kurt was the reason I became Cardinals fan.
Larry legend
One of my favorite wide receivers of all time.
He was so graceful to watch.
Been an AZ Cardinals fan since the 1998 playoff run (PLUMMER!!!).
Loyalty is my absolute Number 1 trait as a human being. Loyalty is everything.
Adrian Wilson is my favorite football player of all-time, followed by Aeneas Williams, and Larry Fitzgerald.
Those 3 are the greatest to ever play at their respective positions (Deion who?! Jerry who?!), and yet they stayed loyal and devoted to AZ. They could have requested a trade at anytime, but they wanted to stay in AZ.
Yes, we absolutetly suck for all eternity, and our ownership is trash, but I will take what I can get.
Can't forget Pat Tillman and loyalty.
Fitz and Tillman are my personal favorites
Amen brother. Tillman turned down a fairly big contract from the Rams, but he turned them down out of loyalty to AZ.
GO CARDINALS!!!!!
Sad that younger generations of kids will not just believe how good he was in his prime I remember that td in superbowl against Steelers
The legend! Larry legend!
Best hands. Best blocking WR ever, too.
Greatest Cardinal Of All Time💯🥺❤️🫶 We Love You Larry
That Flea Flicker @7:20 was a thing of beauty with the backwards pass, Kurt Warner's effortless bomb 60 yards downfield to Fitzgerald's catch, I love it!!!!
i’m a cowboys fan so during the 2015-2016 season we were basically out of it…i was rooting for the cardinals for most of that season but those panthers were explosive. what goes around comes around because the panthers basically made romo retire that season since they re-injured him on thanksgiving then the panthers got blown up by the broncos’ defense in the super bowl.
As good as he was in Arizona, I first saw him when he was in college at Pittsburgh because I'm a huge Miami Hurricanes fan and I had no doubts he'd be a star, he used to just grab everything. He was amazing, maybe the best receiver in college football ever. Him and Randy Moss were the best at going up and grabbing the ball over everybody.
Remember watching a 49ers game in like 2004 and dude made one of the best catches I've ever seen.... and started thinking Darn it we gonna play this guy for the next 15 years....
He may not have gotten a ring, but this man, Larry Fitzgerald is a champion. He's most certainly Arizona Cardinals fans champion. I may be biased because I'm from AZ, but he is my favorite WR of all time. And there are a lot of greats.
Grew up watching him at pitt. He almost killed my steelers in 08. We love Larry in pittsburgh!
That 2011 dive and catch against Seattle, he had broken ribs and was coughing blood. He literally willed us to a win
Larry is going and going andddd touchdown!! #11
As good as this highlight reel is, you're only seeing a fraction of his career. Honestly, you could go back to almost any week of any season and see something unbelievable. He was the Barry Sanders of WRs.
2012 was the last madden game that tried. I remember peyton hillis on the cover but in actuality the last madden game I remember from that era was madden 10. The one with larry firz and troy p on it
See You In CANTON LARRY LEGEND 🐐
Larry doesn’t need a ring to be seen as a legend in my eyes 🙏🏼
2 Words: LARRY LEGEND
Larry was dynamite, he is one of the greatest receivers or all time, he was awesome 🔥 🔥 🔥, absolute 💵 💵 💵
Greatest wr in nfl history
The man had more tackles then drops and still doesn't have a ring. Real legend
I’m a die hard Packers fan! Larry Fitzgerald is mine all time favorite WR!
Also the catch at 12:13 is the greatest catch in NFL history and is the reason why Larry is the greatest ever
